The Training of Joshua Bailo

[Trakon]

Osman stopped the attack froma weary opponent. "Do not look into my words." Osman pushed his blade back. "Use what you can to defeat me."

 

[Horizon]

"As you wish you Master." Using the force he attempts a kick torwards his master in effort to knock him off balance.

 

[Trakon]

Osman twisted so that Joshua's foot hit only air, and brought his saber to point at Joshua's stomach, not yet touching.

"Freeze right now."

 

[Horizon]

Joshua knew when he was defeated. Even when somebody had a harmful device pointed torwards his stomach. "Great work Master Osman. I learn something new everytime we train. I was sure that kick would get through." He bowed before his master with the greatest respect.

 

[Trakon]

"Now tell me, what have you learned of the Force, of The Jedi, and of Lightsaber Combat?" Osman deactivated his training saber.

 

[Horizon]

"They are great tools. The Force I believe is a blessing. It can better the lives of people in need. But it comes with a price I think aswell. The Force can be a blessing or a curse. It allows more power over others in which could be abused for the wrong purposes."
"And the Jedi I believe are one of the only guides in this Galaxy that could save it from its'self. We may have mor leeway in the Republic yet we do not excerisise control over any planet nor people. This makes me proud in knowing I represent such an order.""As for lightsaber combat. Its an art I believe that cant be rushed. To truly learn from it you must fail at some point and time to learn from your mistakes.
Cause in a true actual duel between one lightsaber user and another there is no room for mistakes."

 

[Trakon]

"Good. Now here is this." Osman levitated a large box and a tool desk over to Joshua. "Open it."

[Horizon]

Joshua was puzzled yet excited to open and see what his Master had given him.
Slowly he opened it revealing parts small and some larger than others.
He quickly recognized these parts to resemble an actual lightsaber.
Joshua gasped with excitement then calmed himself before he would get out of hand."I cant believe it." He stood up momentarily bowing before his Master quickly and sat back down. He sat waiting for his Master,s next instructions. After all he didn't want to mess up anything.

 

[Trakon]

"What you see before you is the parts to a lightsaber. You are missing one component: a crystal. But by luck I have one spare. A Nautolan pearl." Osman pulled a small round orb from a pouch, revealing to Joshua a crystal. "Feel it in the Force. Pull it to you. Now pick up the pieces of the lightsaber and feel them through the Force. Create a lightsaber, allow the Force to lead you along it's creation."

 

[Horizon]

Joshua eyes lit up when seeing the strange Crystal in his Master,s hand.
Focusing slightly on the crystal it lifted into the air slightly and stopped over the box. Lifting all the parts was an easy process. Now putting them all together was the task. Not because a lack of confidence. Purely cause he had never seen schematics on how one was put together. Instead he used the image of his Master,s light saber. He had plenty of time to examine during a fight so this was his start. The parts began bumping with one another trying to find the most likely success. The studded wrap,wrapped itself around the hilt while the switch screwed itself in with ease. Near the end of his assimulation of his own lightsaber the crystal still hung in the air then was slid inside with great care and sealed there after. The light saber slowly drifted downwards and finally laid itself on the desk and lied before Joshua.

 

[Trakon]

"Good my padawan." Osman's lightsaber floated into his hand and ignited. He lowered it to Joshua's shoulder and then over to the next. "I hereby knight you Jedi Knight Joshua Bailo, upholder of peace. Rise." Osman turned his blade off, allowing Joshua to stand.

 

[Horizon]

Joshua stood in honor and bowed before his master yet he did not raise to a standing position. "Master Osman I have to personaly thank you. For everything. My life hasint been the greatest and youve given it a direction. And for this I am eternaly in your debt."

 

[Trakon]

"If I ever need help, I hope you are the one to bring it. Now I must report that your training is finished. Goodbye Knight Joshua." Osman bowed then left the training area, leaving to report this success.

 

[Horizon]

Joshua stood now in the empty training room.
His life finaly has taken a good turn.
The Order,s beliefs strongly planted in his mind made him gave him the piece of mind he always wanted. He clipped his lightsaber onto his belt and kept his hand ontop of it for a moment thinking of how far he had realy come.
From the low life he was living on Narshadaa to being a respected member of society. Indeed life was looking up.
