the training of ryo kan

[Count Sam]

After a long argue with his uncle ryo convinced him to let him go and train to become a jedi knight. Ryo headed to the jedi temple on coruscant and as he arrived he sensed the force withing every one their, it was weird for him since he was kept away from force users during most of his life time. Ryo took a seat and waited for his jedi master to arrive as he watched the other padwans waiting for their masters as well.

 

[Galykia]

Galykia entered the busy room and began to look around. He focused the force to find his padawan, Ryo. He was drawn to a black haired human by the force. He knew he had found the padawan.

You, follow me. We shall begin immediatly. Galykia commanded the boy. He proceeded through the crowd of trainee's and through several rooms. They reached a small area outside with many flowers surrounded by green grass. He sat down and began meditating.

 

[Count Sam]

Ryo followed his master and he also noticed that his master did not like to talk a lot. Ryo proceeded through the crowd of trainees with his master and went through several rooms. He then stood beside his master as they reached a small area outside surrounded by many flowers and green grass."so you will be my master right?"Ryo said as he glared at his master who was meditating.

 

[Galykia]

Interuptings one's meditation is a no-no. You should have meditated with me. Patience was the key to the test, which you fail. It is no big deal, I will teach you patience. Know sit with me and meditate. Tell me when you feel the force surround you and become apart of yourself.

 

[Count Sam]

oh..okay master" patience was not really something on ryo's book,but he was ready to do anything even if it is impossible for the sake of becoming a jedi. Ryo sat down next to his master and closed his eyes he then started to feel the force around him."I can sense it master it surrounds us from everywhere"He said in a deep voice" Ryo wanted to know what was the point of that training since most of the people who are force sensitive were able to sense the force that surround them but he decided not to ask.Ryo then cleared his mind from all questions as he sensed the force much more around the still trees,flowers and even his master he also sensed the force around him much more. That was the first time for him to since the force that much, Ryo was sitting still like a statue nothing from his body except his hair that was flying from the air breeze was moving.

 

[Galykia]

After half an hour of silent meditating, Galykia asked "Can you recite the Jedi code?

 

[Count Sam]

Emotion, yet peace. Ignorance, yet knowledge. Passion, yet serenity. Chaos, yet harmony. Death, yet the force"Ryo said it loud and clear luckily for him his father told him the code befor when he was younger.

 

[Galykia]

Excellent, I only hope you will implement it on a daily basis from here on. Know, tell me what are your strengths in terms of combat?

 

[Count Sam]

"well...I know the basics of dueling with lightsabers"Ryo said

 

[Galykia]

And what form were you taught, if any. I can teach you a lot in the Niman form, if you so choose.

 

[Count Sam]

"I was taught only the way of holding the lightsaber and blocking attacks but i do not know anything about forms, and i would gladely learn anything from you master" Ryo said that with a slight smile on his face.

 

[Galykia]

Excellent, then I shall teach you Niman. I prefer niman for its harmonicle balance. Galykia raised from his meditation and walked to a wall. There leaned two wooden shafts, training lightsabers.

These are light, much like an actual light saber. Atack me with all you have.

 

[Count Sam]

Ryo held the training shaft with both his hands and striked from every side with every thing he has as he gave out a high shout.

 

[Galykia]

Galykia swiftly blocked each attack and began to attack the legs with swipes.

 

[Count Sam]

Ryo felt down on the floor as his master striked his legs and dropped his wooden shaft. Ryo then got up again and took a defensive position after grabbing his weapon as he waited for his master to attack.

 

[Galykia]

Galykia bagan to rush his padawan, running straight at him. Waiting to see his reaction.

 

[Count Sam]

ryo jumped a few steps backward to avoid getting hit by his master and he almost felt down but he kept his balance.

 

[Galykia]

Galykia bent down and lifted a small stone. He threw it high in the air, Ryo watched it. As his eyes stayed with the stone, Galykia attacked him causing Ryo to fall to the ground. He took his training weapon and thrusted it at his opponents heart, stopping right befor hitting it.

"If this was a real fight, you would be killed. Do not get distracted at these small things. You must always remain focus, especially when fighting a foe that is stronger.

 

[Count Sam]

for a moment Ryo's heart almost stopped bumping as he expected himself to die,but well he did not it was a training after all, but his master was too serious about it,but Ryo should never get distracted that was the lesson he learned from this fight"yes master"he said in a deep tone as he looked down.Ryo then got up from the floor and stood up

 

[Galykia]

"Do you already have a lightsaber or even used one before" He said emotionless.
