Corellia had always been a planet of renown and intrigue. Despite such heavy ship producing industries it still maintained it's natural beauty. It was this very same natural beauty that Natalia now looked at as she stood near the exit of a spaceport at the edge of Coronet City. Turning on her heel she came around and saw that the last of the Shades who had come here had gotten through all the security gates and were beginning to come together. The corners of her mouth curved up into a small smile. Looking at her other Shades she could not shake the feeling that this outing had already gone from an chance to learn how the force interacts with the galaxy at large to a field trip to. It did not help that some of these people had been raised in a Jedi temple until they left the order for the Shades and had spent the rest of their time in on Thyferra.

It could be helped she thought to herself and with a quick look over her fellow Shades and the cityscape behind them she began her short little speech. "Okay everyone, I have already told you that this is a trip for us to learn more about the force and it's interactions in other venues so I cannot really tell you what to do. Instead just go do whatever I only recommend that people stay in small groups so nobody gets lost o hurt or anything." With that done she simply began to walk off towards the city proper.

That was an odd briefing, but Ja did want to learn more of the Force and turned to the other Shade," Alright let's pick groups."

Swiftly a man moved through one of the worsts neighborhoods of Coronet. The walls of the narrow alleyway seemed almost to press in on him as the man moved with almost no sound, his black robes billowing out behind him. Once the alleyway has left behind the man angled towards one of the many buildings that lined these streets and as he closed with it he made a jump no normal human could have made and deftly went through the second story window.

Here he landed in a building far different on the inside than it appeared on the outside. For the entire second floor had been converted into a large temple for a single deity. Head down the runner moved before the only other being in the room, there, head still down, he spoke highly deferentially. "Lord priest I bring problematic news."

The other man wore a cloak about him that appeared to absorb much of the light in the room and cover up almost any discernible feature. The only part of him that could be seen were his hands, old and gnarled but with a hidden strength in them. Then putting down the vials he held he spoke, "What news do you bring to our temple Raistiff?"

The runner began to sweat slightly and swallowed hard before responding, "Sir, we have found several beings who bear great strength from the gods. They are not Jedi, as the all have some of our lord Varazain's power in them. We do not yet know what they are but we are tailing the strongest to learn more."

Bringing his fingers together before the shadows that hid his face for a moment he thought. "Kill them. All of them."

The runner nodded at the words of the Lord Priest. Then turning around he moved towards the window and was once more running through the streets to relay the orders to the others in the order. Soon enough these beings who wielded the power of the gods would be dead. Then they could finish laying their trap for this planets senator.

Cain himself was in Coronet. Not that any of the other members of the Shade Order knew, of course. He had given command of this to Natalia and had faith in her, and did not want her to think that he was keeping tabs on her. It was not her, in fact, he was worried about. He had travelled there on his own, before the others had left in fact, and kept to the shadows. He had also been putting his latest, and possibly most favourite, technique of the Force into practice: masking his Force prescence. He was fairly confident now that even to most Jedi he would feel like any other regular man walking down the street.

Shrouded in his cloak, his entire body covered, nobody would see underneath that he was wearing his newly manufactured armour, and hanging at his waist was his spare, green bladed lightsaber. He had been trawling the streets and rooftops, searching for these disturbances, these problems in the Force. He was sure they had not found him, but they had certainly found Natalia and her accomplices. He had been following them, in fact, keeping an eye on his followers from the shadows. Perhaps when they discovered something of interest he would reveal himself, but for now he was content to remain hidden from both sides and monitor the conflict.

Basilak had come but he didn't immediantly gather with the rest of the Shade. Instead he wrapped himself in his cloak and set out on the streets to look around some. Not that many would find him easily.

Standing among his fellow shades Adrion stood relaxed watching as the men and women separated into small close knit groups of friends and relation. This was as it should be but it left little room for him a newly accepted and anointed knight of the order force himself upon a group without some guilt. Looking over at the man who had previously suggested the idea for the groups [Ja] "Room for one more?" he asked while moving closer.

"Sure, come on then." Ja waited for the man to walk over to the now group of four,"Let's head into the city and find out what Natalia was talking about. I don't see how we're to discover more about the Force on Correlia, though!" Ja laughed and turned down the concrete striding into the city, white robes fluttering around him.

Derek was walking along the streets of corellia, looking about curiously. His ship had run low on fuel on his way back to thyferra, so he had stopped to refuel. As he had been waiting for clearance to lift, he had felt a strange prompting from the force.

He scanned the street. It seemed... normal. Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something he was missing. He strolled down the street, and on towards the center of town, before seeing a man in a black cloak scurrying away from him. There was no mistaking it. That was definetely scurrying.

Derek hurried after him. Something about that man wasn't right...

He didn't even think that he might be wandering into a trap...

Edit: Whoops, ship, not shape...heheheh

Cain was standing on a rooftop overlooking the one he had found. He was sure this was one of them, he could feel the dark side flooding the being's veins. He slowly and quietly pursued, from his vantage point, his cloak making him look just as eerie as any of the others, but his prescence in the Force completely masked, invisible unless anybody should look up. He saw another man, someone he recognised, his student Derek Eckhar, pursuing the hooded fiend. he would not intervene unless he had to, but he reckoned Derek could handle one of them homself. nonetheless he waited and watched, should he need to help.

Basilak had felt the strange dark power from several people. All were dressed as he was in dark black cloaks. Ofcourse he didn't think anything of it when he was walking along next to one. Maybe I could just get him into an alley way, Basilak thought. He unsheathed his knife and prepared to haul the man into the alley next to him. Ofcourse Basilak didn't notice any of the Shade people following this certain one. So once he came out from the alleyway they might still be following him.

*Another presence could be felt by the Shade. It was dark, but separate from the ones they were pursuing. It emanated a feeling of cold calmness that weighed down on one like the crushing depths of the ocean bottom, drowning them in it forever more. The one who was source of this cold darkness stood on the roof of the building opposite of the one Cain Ray. Watching the young Shades with interest and making no effort to hid himself from them.*

Chuckling lightly Adrion followed Ja into the inner depths of the city. As the small group of four traveled Adrion felt three sentient's tracking them. They held a malicious air permeating their entire being not the best sorts to have following a group of people trying to keep a low profile. Not even doubting for a second that the group he was apart of were not feeling the trackers circle around until they were right infront of them.

Wearing darkened robes four men stepped from the shadows. Looking over at Ja adrion spoke silently so that only he could hear "That's funny I thought there was only three..." Two other men in darkened robes entered from the right. Slightly perplexed Adrion whispered "queer..." as another robed man arrived behind them even more menacing than the others. As the Dark Robed men pushed in on the shades group outnumbering them nearly two to one it dawned on Adrion that this might indeed be a bad situation.

Cain could indeed feel it, something festering deep, something that had appeared more subtle up until this point. This was a dangerous situation to be in indeed. He sensed greater power in this one than in any of the others he had so far felt, but in the same way this one did not feel like the mindless follower of an inner city religious sect. This one seemed raw and in a way untrained. More powerful, than skillful. But at the same time, there was skill there. And what is more, it was close. He would tread very warily. But at the same time, he knew that no matter how powerful this being, it would not be able to gage Cain's ability at all, as he was masking his Force prescence, a simple but strangely difficult ability to grasp, and one that had saved Cain from discovery by enemies more than once. He closed his eyes, knowing his human light receptors were useless in the dark night, dimly lit by the odd street lamp or unsuspecting window, and relied on the Force. He could see more creatures of the Force, these odd, brainwashed fiends. But there was no real skill with them, he would have bet each one of his Shade padawans would have taken them. But there was something, that same powerful presence, lurking on the rooftops, just across from Cain. Slowly walking across his rooftop, careful not to turn his hooded head towards the prescence, should he lose any of the element of surprised, he stayed focused upon those wandering the streets. As he arrived right at the edge of his rooftop, he built up a little speed and gracefully lauched himself onto the next one, where he knew the creature to be. But, indeed, he stayed near the edge, and looked outover the city. When he was sure they were alone on the roof, still sithout turning to face him, he spoke, "Good evening."

*A smile, unseen within the darkness of the night, slid onto his lips. He had known one of them would come to investigate the source of power that did not belong to any of the weak cultists at inhabited this world. The smile soon reserved itself, becoming a frown. The voice that spoke was no more than a few feet away and yet even this close he could not feel the man. This one was undoubtedly more powerful than the ones running about on the streets if he could mask his presence so completely. Yet it would not make any difference how powerful he truly was. No. None at all. His eyes, yellow pinpricks against the night, stared out toward where one of the man's comrades stood surround. He could not see it, but could feel one presence with five others circling around it.*

"Yes. It is a good evening. An interesting one as well I think. I wonder how it will all play out."

*His voice was calm, level, and quiet with a hint of curiosity. A voice that betrayed his otherwise demonic appearance.*

"How what will play out?" Cain asked, in a flat, level tone, still not turning from looking out over the city. The newcomer spoke as if some game were being played, but Cain hardly saw his students battling strange Force using wizards as a game. Although he was looking in the opposite direction, he was completely aware of this strange, dark prescence lurking behind him. There was something of this one that seemed familiar, as though he had met him before. But he could not remember feeling this particular raw power, and cruelty in one before. As he reached out, subtley, it was there, just on the surface of the man that he realised what it was and why he recognised it. This man had the faintest touch of the Jedi about him, whether he had been one or still was one remained to be seen, but he certainly had their trace about him. And Cain probably had been in close proximity with him before, for he too had once been a Jedi.

*His arm extended outward and swept through a motion that took in the entire city. He knew the man could not see the gesture, but Arsen was sure he could feel every motion being made. So the affect was the same regradless of sight. When he next spoke a small amount of mockery slipped into his words at the fact the man had to ask what he was refering too.*

"Why is entire fight that happens to going on in the streets around us. I'm interested in seeing which side prevails over the other. Why have you not joined in? Are those not your comrades fighting?"

"They are my pupils," he said simply, ignoring the mocking tone. Cain was good at rising above things, years of his training under the sometimes overly critical Jedi had allowed him to develop that. He added, "an overprotective parent would walk alongside their child, holding their hand and protecting them from evils. A good teacher will allow his students to learn for themselves, so that when he can no longer be there they are not without skills. I'm sure if any of them bite off more than they can chew, I am able to help them. I doubt they even know I am here. But I daresay some would have sensed you. Who are you?"

Basilak had felt several Shades in another alleyway and walked over. As soon as he reached it he noticed they were surrounded by people in robes similar to his. So Basilak used this to his advantage and made his way to the back of the evil group letting out a feeling similar yet distinct so the Shades know who it is.

"Ah. I see. This a test to discover who is strong enough to survive and thrive within this galaxy. You should let the weak to be cleansed from the ranks however, if they not strong enough to survive on their own. What use are they? No one, least of all others. Do not let the weak drag to great down into mediocrity."

*The tone of his voice had and mixture of approval and warning under the smooth calmness. The question of who he was received silence as it's only answer.*

"Secrecy, eh? Secrecy is only a real use when you have surprise on your side. But your name won't make any difference to the fact I can feel every inch of you in the Force," he spoke with an evident smile in his voice, but continued nonetheless, "and I am not some dictator purging my ranks. If anybody dies from not being able to defend themselves, it is not because I want rid of the weak, but merely because it was the will of the Force. I expect few, if any to die, and all will learn from this experience, which is the true task at hand."

He did not mind sharing his teaching ethics. It was not a secret that he would teach through action, at times, and he cared little if this man knew. He still had secrecy of the things he could use to his advantage.
