Aiden had been wanting to train more and specialize his role as a crusader and begin his path as an assassian. According to the Dark Jedi Holocrons it listed a the Dark Masters, and not many were Assassians. Mirrik was. He was a Twi'lek and very skilled in his craft. He would be an excellent teacher for Aiden.

After about an hour of looking for Mirrik, he found him training new acolytes in lightsaber combat. Aiden loved lightsaber combat, his form was heavily based in fighting lightsaber wielding opponents and in his opinion he was an advanced user of the form. He approached him, bowed and said:

"Master Mirrik; I have come seeking additional training and you sir are one of the most skilled assassians of our order."

Mirrik paused looking him over, then without saying anything walked over to one of the acolytes making an adjustment in his form. "You do it right or you die, this training isn't a just in case scenerio. You will fight, there is no life, only death." He said echoing one of the codes tenets.

"The question is, will it be your death or your enemies?" He said, the words were harsh off his tongue and the acolyte responded by repeating the form flawlessly, then repeating it driving it into his mind and fixing his mistake. Mirrik then walked over to the front of the class viewing it all. He turned looking Aiden in the eye. "The same goes for you. I expect nothing less than perfection from my students. How much more do you think this expectation will be if you feel you're ready to advance into my realm of knowledge?" The words were cautionary, not meant as harsh and stated only as a fact.

Aiden listened as Mirrik corrected a student first and watched through the force as he corrected his error. Then Mirriki turned his attention towards Aiden. Perfection. The word was one he was used to. At one point an old master had used it to describe Aiden's application of the second form in lightsaber combat. It was somthing Aiden sought after every day, from the grueling sparring sessions to hours of meditation he was a very focused individual.

"I intend to only perform to the limits of my potential master. Perfection is the goal in any mission or task in mine." He said. "I will be the best student you have master, mistakes are not forgiven in the field of battle and should be harshley corrected in training. One fights how they train. I intend to fight with perfection and bring death upon my foes. As the first Bogan had said: "There is no life, only death." Aiden finshed with.

"Then we begin." He said then turned to the class. "We're done, go back to your masters or your training halls and practice what you've learned. I care not." He said dismissing the group. He turned to Aiden and studied him, walking around him in a circle, much like wolf circling it's prey. "What do you seek to learn from me. Aside from gaining a name, what does this position mean to you exactly?"

Aiden stood as his master circled him like a wolf stalking its prey. Aiden didn't move just yet but responded.

"The name is not of importance to me. Yes being an assassian of the Bogan strikes fear into the hearts of those who know of us. But that is not why I seek training. I seek training so I may expand my ability to use the dark side of the Force to my will. I seek training so I may learn to kill my enemy without him ever knowing of my existence. I seek training so I may slay those that the great Bogan seeks dead." Aiden said with energy.

He had trained for this role for some time. Every time he wanted to quit from the strain, although they were few and far between, he reminded himself of that he would one day be an assassian if he pushed.

"Then we'll begin our training. Bear in mind you will come closer to death than you ever have been. The cold halls of our temple will seem warmer to you than anything you've ever felt when you return. The things you take for granted, shelter, food, clean clothing. They wil mean more to you when you return than you ever thought possible. We'll head out now, take only what you have with you." He said, and with that he promptly stepped off the side of the building, using the force to slow his fall as he landed silently. He looked up, waiting to see if his apprentice would follow.

Aiden listened carefully to his masters words. His first master pushed him near the edge of death and he had no doubt this one would do the same. Aiden followed suit, stepping non-chalantly off the roof. He used a minor force push to slow his fall. He landed with a thud next to his master and waited for what to do next.

He watched his pupil and winced as he hit the ground. "You've got the grace of an elephant stuck in a coruscant office." he says shaking his head. "From now on, you'll land silently or you'll eat dinner an hour after me for every time you land making an audible noise. I only need to eat once a day." He says, then heads off to the north at a brisk jog as snow begins to fall. The master would last for several hours at this pace, fueled as he was by the force before he stops asking his pupil if he needs to rest.

Aiden bowed his head as his master berated him for the noise. Now he would put more effort into being silent. Mirrik then began running. Aiden loved running and often ran for about three hours a day to prepare his body and cardio for extended amounts of combat.

"Yes sir." Aiden said and nodded curtly as he took off next to his master.

After making several kilometers he stopped and looked around, they had outran the storm, which was moving south and the worst of the snow was passed them. He looked about, they had come to the edge of a tundra. Before them stretched flat land, cold and frozen with frost, in the distance there was a mountain range. "We'll be heading to those mountains, but for now we'll stop and make camp here. Gather wood for fire, however there is a trick. You may not move from the spot you're in now,use the force to locate the brush and bring it to us." He said sitting down and closing his eyes waiting for his pupil to do as he says.

Aiden pondered his first challenge. The area was quite devoid of live. Thankfully there was a handful of dead trees nearby. He reached out with the Force and, silently, carried their branches to his feet. He placed them down slowly and noiselessly.

"Master, shall I start the fire?"Aiden asked.

They had thankfully outran the storm. He was unsure of what awaited him in the cold mountain range but one thing was certain. His master would make him earn his title and when he emerged he would be a deadly assassian of the Bogan.

"Yes, that's fine." he said still meditating. Soon his pupil had a roaring fire going and heat melted the area. Master Mirrik still sat meditating, he sensed out through the force feeling the various life amongst the area finally settling on a pack of hyena like beasts, scavenger packs and called out to them with the force luring them to the fire. "Kill them all, note they'll be very angry with you." he said, releasing his force control from the creatures as they began to howl and then leapt at Aiden, Mirrik having cloaked himself so completely in the force that he was invisible, even to the Miralukan's force sight.

((Ahh okay, last training thread Trakon Rp'd the stuff I fought. I'll change that now))

Damn Mirrik. Oh well maybe he would be nice and let Aiden cook up the creatures after he finished. Aiden drew one of his two curved hilt lightsabers and Force jumped outside the ring of the animals that was forming around him. Noiselessly he hit the ground and used Force Choke killing two of the seven without them realizing what hit them. He rolled foward, his body's movements heavily sped up by Force Speed and sliced the forelegs off one and beheaded another as he activated his blade. One beast launched at his ankle but Aiden cut it in two with a flick of his wrist as if he were parrying a stab. With beautiful form and grace Aiden stepped forward and sliced ones head in two with an overhand slash and stabbed his lightsaber through the final ones skull.

Aiden deactivated his lightsaber and put it back in it's spot on the interior o his robes and walked over to the beast whos forelegs he had severed. It lay there stuck in the snow with two cauterized stubs where its legs belonged. Aiden crushed its throat and waited for further instruction.

Mirrik unloaked himself, appearing directly behind Aiden. "Good, very good. That was a nice rest. Lets start off again shall we?" He said, though the question was redundant. The Twi'lek had been meditating the whole time, his hunger and fatigue burned away by the dark side fo the force. "Take some of the animal with you if you want to eat later, but you'll be carying the extra weight." and with that he set off fast as he could go propelled onward by the sheer power of the darkside toward the mountain range.

Aiden quickly ate a small amount, although it was closer to raw then cooked and tasted like garbage because he used lightining to cook it. He set off running next to his master and used Force Speed to keep pace. They jogged off towards the mountain. Aiden was excited for this. Intense training was what he lived for.

They reached the mountains by mid morning the next day, having ran for hours. The twilek stopped wiping sweat from his lekku and sat. The mountains were covered by forrest which was in turn covered by snow. He looked around. "Alright, assassins have rules varrying in degrees. All are private, and personal. Mine are complex, though appear simple. The first thing you'll learn is that you do not change anything yourself. You can let others change it for you if you have that option of course. Now, if we were to get from here to the top, what would be the way to get there without leaving any trace? This question you will ask yourself before the start of any mission. What is my goal, and how do I achieve it without leaving any trace."

Aiden paused as he pondered his masters words and question. Then a thought came to him on how to solve the problem

"Master. To cover our trails and hide our trace, we could advance up the mountain and as we break or once we reach the top we could weaken certain points in the snow. Avalanches are not uncommon in these mountains and noone would be the wiser of our passing." Aiden said. This answer would work well. The force was a tool, almost akin to having someone else do their work and this method would require very little energy and be almost unnoticable.

"Very good, but if you were trying to get away, that wouldn't be an option. We shall however do that after we reach the top since we're not being followed or chased this time." He said, then hopped up and using the force he held on the snow without sinking. "This will take alot of your energy, but you're footprints will be neigh unnoticable. Channel the force into your feet, like you would to slow a fall, you'll be slowed in sinking into the snow, but you've gotta move fast." He said, and with that he set off up the mountain.

Aiden chanelled the force through his body and down to his feet. He followed his masters instruction and began to feel a slight pull of energy as he took off, leaving behind no footprints.
