The rumbling sound grew louder as the thing, whatever it was grew closer. Mirrik knew the dangers of the cave and if the Crusader-soon-to-be Assassin could actually make it out alive then he would be ready, not just for the role as an assassin, but as a Master. The thing inside was a creature, changed and twisted by the darkside. Once a human, the previous bogans fate was not simply death, but worse, stripped of who he was by the current Bogan, mind drained of all thought, only an animalistic drive of chaos, destruction. The darkside had consumed his mind, his soul too. None knew the fate of course, it was a secret that only select few masters and The Bogan himself would indulge in. The previous Bogan had died, the man who had once been the Bogan had not, though he was weakened extravegantly and had no mind of his own. A thrall to the will of the Bogan himself, a will consumed by the want of chaos and destruction...

A creature burst into the cave, pale skin, nearly luminecent. It quickly found it's prey and began to attack, casting a force lightening, all the while screaming at high, beastly pitches, seemingly fueled by the force to near ear shattering levels.

The huge creature burst into the cave and immediately began its assault. Force lightning wracked the room and the beasts screeches threatened to shatter Aiden's eardrums. Aiden quickly stood and ignited his lightsabers as he stood. Crossing the plasma blades as he had seen Mirrik and many others do, he absorbed the lightning storm through the Force and fueled himself with the energy. In an area less fueled by the Dark side Aiden would be a dead man but here he could kill this creature. Aidens body couldn't contain all the power and needed an outlet or he would die. Summoning his rage and pain from the yelling he yelled a wordless roar as he launched a massive Force Push towards the creature, aiming to send it across the chamber or at least disorient it. Using the Force he augmented his normal speed and strength and would use his lightsabers in his assault. He dashed forward after the push, leapt and would come down upon the creature's head with one blade and arm with another if it was not moved by the push.

The creature was pushed back far and startled. It roared again in rage but this time ran deeper into the darkness, firing bolts of force lightening back as it went attempting to slow down it's target. The thing was obviously leading it farther back for a reason. What that reason was, could be anything...

Aiden was not letting this slip from his grasp and was going to kill it. Using his Force-heightened senses he dipped and dodged around the lightning bolts as he chased the creature. An idea hit him, one Mirrik used when chasing him up the mountain. Using the force, he weakened a section of rather large stalagmites in the ceiling of the cave a good hundred yards in front of where the creature was headed. By the time it got there they would either crash upon it and kill the beast or block of its path.

No more running

The creature stalled using the force to move the rocks then let out another roar letting out a force blast wave. It was an act of desperation but it opened up the cave just enough to let a humanoid pass through. It continued to run deep in the darkness. The farther into the cave you go the more the darkside grows, near the point that even one who could use the force to see would be blinded.

Aiden continued his pursuit of the massive creature as it roared its way past his trap. Suddenly, as Aiden passed his own trap through a small gap, his Force-aided vision began to blur with the fuel of the dark side. Chasing it further would be folly. Time to taunt it back to him. He'd kill it another day if needed, but would not fight blind.

"Come on you kriffing COWARD!"
Aiden roared through the cave. His voice was filled with malice and rage as it echoed through the chamber. The dark side was strong here and Aiden began to channel it through him, if the beast did not return as his power climaxed he would merely collapse parts of the cave.

The beast smiled as it turned around. It roared releasing it's rage not on Aiden, but on the small and only gap behind him. It collapsed in on itself, so much so that any attempts to remove it would cause the entire mouth of the exit to collapse. The beast had him where he wanted, and still it proceeded further into the cave...

Aiden grinned as the path behind him collapsed as it yelled.
Kriffing awesome.. The crusader stepped forward slowly and within ten yards his functional vision through the Force was gone. The beast had him and now he would be relying on the Dark side to fuel his motions and reactions. This was no battle any form of training could have prepared him for. This was instinct now. It was here that Aiden would shatter the last of his chains and take the next step. All plans were out the window, time to ride the wave of chaos. He stood with both sabers in hand his legs planted firmly.

"We're on your terms now. Ready to fight me now? Ready to die you pitiful slave?!" Aiden yelled again, a defiant challenge to his opponent and attacker.

The Creature roared back and began assaulting him. More lightening illuminating the area, not that it mattered, the miralukan was blind as a bat in the darkside miasma. After the lightening assaults it actually went farther down into the cave. When it stopped it was in a great chamber, what was once the meditation room for the previous bogan with near mirror carvings of the ones in the walls of the Bogans throne room in the temple.

Aiden kept up his defense and used the same X-style defense he learned from Mirrik to stave off the assault. He snarled as the beast ran and ran blindly through the corridors chasing the creature. This bastard was going to die if Aiden had to go down with it, but he would never let that happen. The Darkside blinded his senses but fueled his power and guided him through the ancient temple. In a matter of seconds he was in the huge chamber. It was like nothing Aiden had ever 'seen.' The walls glowed with a deep red color, showing to be the source of the dark sides influence. It was here he would fight the beast. It had nowhere else to run. A devilish grin lit up Aiden's face in the darkness.

"Let us end this here. You've got nowhere to run now. I know you're here. I feel you through the wall darkness." The crusader said as he stepped back with his right foot, preparing for the assault.

The creature brought it's fists up and leapt forward at him pummeling him with moves similar in style to form V but without the lightsaber, instead it seems it had picked up an old sword from the ground, so infused with the darkside it resisted lightsabers with ease. The assault was near relentless, looking for any gap through which to strike and wear down it's opponent. However when it sensed this would not work it switched to form III and began it's defense waiting for Aiden to make the next move, growling fiercely.

Aiden stepped back and slid to the side and, finally, broke his line. He continued his usage of the X to hold back the beasts strength and used the Force to fuel him well beyond his normal strength and speed. As he stepped to the side the beast slid back into a more defensive stance. Aiden launched forward towards the beast after using a Force push to unbalance it. He came forward with his right foot in front and launched a right-overhand, left-stab combo. The slash would be aimed at the the creatures head but was more of a distraction and the stab aimed towards the body of the beast and carried the brunt of his power.

The creature jumped back after blocking the first blow and bumped up against a column which moved slightly, something that one wary of his surroundings might realize. The creature lurched forward this time imploying quick soft movements and feints of makashi to try and kill off his opponent. Feint here, slight cut there, sweeping attack here, block there feint again for a kick at the ribs and so on the dance continued.

The creature was playing Aidens game. He was a master of the second form, and a user for some time. This place, rage, anger and some mild frustration only fueled him even more. He danced the dance with the creature. Aiden rode the chaotic wave that combat brought like a master, using only instinct to guide him. A movement in the force called out to him. As the kick came in, it would be greeted by a sweeping parry from one of his lightsabers. As he parried with one blade the other would shoot out towards the beast at such a speed that was only capable from the immense Darkside presence in the area. If this worked, the creature would be without one of its legs and have a saber impaling it in the chest. If not, the dance continued between the combatants.

The creature was indeed without a leg and with a saber in it's chest. In it's last desperate act of defiance it rached out with the force, yanking the column in and attempting to hold onto Aiden to keep him in place as the vault collapsed in on itself, however if aiden was able to get away in time, he would find a way out of the vault itself, where a waiting master would be standing looking pleased.

Aiden's felt the blade cut clean through the creatures leg and the other one embed itself in the creatures chest. He swelled with pride and his feelings of victory. However, these feelings were short lived as the beast pulled Aiden towards him and ripped out one of the few remaining support columns which would collapse the chamber. Aiden had to act quickly, his mind and heart racing as he ripped the blade from the dead creature. He harnessed as much of the power as his body would allow and attempted to hold the ceiling up. It would hold, but not for long. He used his other hand to launch an incredibly powerful Force push that would send him flying out of the room and the creature into the wall. As he jettisoned across the room, he released his hold of the ceiling and let it collapse on top of the creature, killing it once and for all. He stood at the edge of the collapsed chamber. Aiden was nowhere near as tired as he expected, the darkside had fueled all of his assault. He felt stronger then ever before. A grin came across his face. He was victorious.

Mirrik was standing under a nearby tree, he began clapping. "Very Good. Very good indeed. I was going to just leave you in there to rot if you didn't make it out in a week." He said as he walked closer. "Bogan don't sit and meditate when we have no where else to go. We push on fueled by the darkside and create our own way, through chaos. That was the last lesson that had to be learned, not taught. Do you see the difference?" He asked curiously.

Aiden allowed himself a small chuckle before his master started speaking. It was good to see him and more importantly, have his approval. He listened intently as he spoke. "Yes master. I see the difference. The darkside fuels us and chaos guides us, and through that, we may do anything. I have but one question as of now my master, what was that creature? It fought using the force and as if it had an intimate knowledge of the forms.." Aiden said before a thought entered his head. "It couldn't have been...an ex-Bogan of some sort..." His voice trailed off slowly as he spoke. It fought far too well to be a mere beast of burden, but for the darkside to warp something that much...

"It's what you will be turned into should you ever fail without dying to try and succeed Aiden." He said somberly. No he would not explain what that creature was. Or that it wasn't dead, it could not die, fueled as it was by hate and rage. It would crawl away from the wreckage, move deeper into the cave system, away from the light of the sun, and away from where the darkside shrinks. It could no longer exist in the damaged shape it was in any other way. A fresh thrawl though...that was a different matter entirely.

Aiden would find out one day what it was, today however was not that day. What mattered was that as far as he knew it was dead and his task complete. Aiden still felt the power coursing through his veins and he pondered if it was there to stay. He was unaware as to what was next. Aiden had learned so much under his Master, he knew not what the next step was. Only one way to find out.

"Well master. What is next?"
He asked.
