When she pulled of the ability on her first attempt, it was no shock at all to Thunger. The padawans connection with the Force is much stronger than most padawans Thunger has trained. She truly understands the ways of the Force, and is finaly starting to be able to control the power. With ideas in mind, Thunger takes a seat next to Alara.

Well, Alara.. I didn't even have to explain how to do that ability, you figured it out on your own. Most Jedi knights do not even do as well as you are. You have a great connection with the Force Alara.....

With that said, Thunger unclips a sparkling thin hilt from his belt and extends it towards his padawan.

I think it's about time you have your own lightsaber.. All that is missing is the crystal.

Her masters words reflected heavily on her. He trusted Alara and believed in the young girl who once stood before him, the same way he did now. It was a great honor to be allowed to creat your own lightsaber, the most recognisable symbol a jedi had.

During her stay at the jedi academy, Alara saw her fair share of lightsabers. All of them looked the same, but only after a close inspection does one trully see exactly how different they were. As if the lightsaber reflected its master. They were a part of the jedi, his mind and body. Alara knew that the crystal was the heart of the jedi weapon and the part which determined its color. But so far, no color she saw reflected her personality. At least, not from the ones the jedis and their padawans used here.

From the moment Alara began thinking about her lightsaber and its heart- the crystal, her medalion bagan glowing, it was on her neck for a long time now, but she never saw it do that before. The girl reached for the small, silver crystal around her neck and looked into it. It was glowing in a pale silver, almost white light.

' Master, what do you think this means? My medalion has never done that before. '

Thunger smiles, noticing the crystal around Alara's neck. This is definetly a day that will be remembered, especialy for Alara. Acheiving the first lightsaber is always a great moment, a moment that will be cherished for years to come. It has been close to 30 years, but Thunger still remembers the moment he was given his lightsaber.
Cherishing the moment, Thunger pauses before speaking.

This tool will be of great use to you. It will guide you through darkness, it will shatter obstacles that stand in your way, and it will protect you. This crystal that hangs from your neck is bind to you. It is truly yours, guard it with your life... Now, put it in the slot on the top of your hilt. Ignite your jedi tool, get a feel of it.

Up until this moment, this very second, Alara didn't truly believe that the Force was all around the Universe. She trusted her master and his wise teachings, as well as she trusted the other jedi in the Temple, but for the first time she saw for herself, that there truly were no coincidences. Everything was connected, nothing happened without a reason. The padawans crystal, the heart of her lightsaber, was on her neck this whole time. Well, like older jedi say 'Experience is the best teacher of all.', Alara found that to be true.

Thunger was planning this for a while, because his gift suited and reflected his young padawan perfectly. It was a lightsaber hilt. Gentle, feminine and beautiful, it reflected its future wielder and her personality. All that was missing was its heart.

Using the Force particles around her, Alara slowly guided the silver crystal to its new home. The silver piece snug gently into the hilt of the lightsaber and only a few seconds later the mighty jedi weapon was complete.

The master handed it to his apprentice, grateful she bowed in return. It was a memorable moment, one which the young woman would cherish for the rest of her life. After which, for the first time, she felt, her very own lightsaber, in her hands. The ancient ritual was complete and the young padawan knew that her true life as a jedi, was just beginning.

With one swift and confident move, Alara ignited her lightsaber for the first time. The long blade quickly revealed itself, covering the right side of the padawan in light. It glowed with a calming, suiting silver light, it was unlike any lightsaber blade she saw. It felt light, lighter then any of her training blades, like a feather.

As Alara began to move the blade around her, it started dancing in her hands, following them flawlessly.

After the girl retracted her blade, she stood before her master.

'Thank you, Master Thunger. I feel my connection with the Force better now, as if a part of me was missing until now. But what happens next, master?'

A smile slipped passed Thunger's lips, as he was enjoying the moment. He has given her the jedi tool because she was indeed ready and proved to be responsible enough to have it. However, he had more in mind. Her training is near it's end, it is time for a mission. On this mission she will be put on the spot to make split decisions under pressure, she will need to prove her wisdom and work with others..

I need you to go on a mission, Alara. I'm trusting you enough to work with Jedi Knight Ryo to escort a human trader who has an important holocorn that will need to be reviewed. The mission will take place on Du Hatta. He is waiting for you outside the temple...

Thunger was straight the point.. It was time for her to prove her wisdom and jedi qualities to others...
