Ivan did not respond. He simply shot again, bursting to catch the final distance between the two. As he caught, he sliced with his vibroblade, aiming to cut across the back.
The heavy metal gauntlet connect with Kyle's face, hard and the rough edge caused a stream of blood to spurt from the wound. Kyle shook his head, dazed for a second as the man legged it from the room, Ivan hot on his heels. Kyle switched off his blade and in one fluid motion hung it at his belt, taking a mini-medikit and grabbing a plaster and slapping it over his smarting wound, ignoring the pain and just stemming the bleeding. Wiping the blood from his own eyes as he gave chase himself, he pulled his pistol out, but refrained from firing lest he hit Ivan, who he had not caught yet, in the narrow corridors and frantic movements of the chase. He was powerfully built and as such was rapid over short distances. The Force too, gave him an edge of agility, meaning soon enough he would catch up with, if not overtake Ivan and then their prey would be his.
Ivan's blade caught into the back of Veral's armor, and cut into him a little bit. As it did, Veral instantly stopped, and slammed his elbow backwards at Ivans chest as hard as he possibly could. This happened very close to the hangar bay, in fact, they were just about to be inside of it. The hit wouldnt be strong enough to cause any permanent injury if it did connect. It would most likely just knkock Ivan down, and stun him for a little bit.
Ivan felt his breath leave him as the armoured elbow struck him. As he reeled back, he let off a shot from his pistol, the last in the cartridge. He fell, Instantly getting back up. ''If you get out of here, the turrets and the frigate will turn on you'' He said, a grin still on his face. He liked the ones that fought back.
As Ivan said that to him, he realized that he was right. But, he also realized that the sword was still in his back. He spun around, and the bullet missed him by a little bit. He then faced Ivan, who was grinning for reasons that he could not understand. His rifle was pointed at Ivans chest, it still had about a third of a a clip left in it, the safety was not on, and he had his finger on the trigger. One squeeze, and the bullets would tear through whatever was in front of them.
"Tell me" Veral said to Ivan. "How much honor do you have?" If he heard anything similar to gunfire, or if Ivan moved, he would fire.
''Much.'' Was the simple reply. The sword was still held in the ready position. ''But if you do not leave here on my terms, i will ignore it.'' He could hear his men approaching, a mass of footfalls slowly increasing in volume.
((Eh, by saying the sword was in my back, I meant that it had stayed there, but this seems like it will work out for the both of us.))
"What are you terms then? I merely want to leave here. So your terms will most likely be accepted. " He was still very ready to fire, and had not relazed from his position at all. Maybe he would get out of there without anyone dying. He was also ready for when the others arrived, if one of them even aimed near him, he would fire. he still had his concentration on Ivan though.
''I will wipe all record of this place from your ship computer, and drop your ship in a random place, near to a civilised planet, but not too close to be discovered. You also become fair game.'' Ivan finished, adding the last part with a smile.
"As long as that doesnt mean that you will roast my ship before I get to a planet, then you have a deal. I understand that if we ever meet again, I will most likely be an enemy to you." Veral said, thinking about the fact that he did not own any sort of ship. That could be worked out in a slightly less hostile situation though, as Veral still was very cautious.
Veral was very wary of placing a bag on his head, ecspecially in the type of situation that he was in now. But, he knew that he would never be able to escape this place. It would probably be even harder if he killed Ivan, which he now didnt even really want to do. He took the bag, and placed it over his head. He didnt even have to take off his helmet, as the bag fit over it. He was actually sort of expecting them to knock him out.
Ivan smiled, and rammed the butt of his sword into the back of Veral's head, knocking him out cold. ''Now get the others out of here.'' He turned as the other three, incapacitated, were brought out, all knocked out.
Marian watched the spectacle, hurting some from his close encounter with Death. This pain will surely be a nuisance in the morning, and the pirate commander had mixed feelings about Veral's exile. Glad, as the person who almost took his life would be out where the possibility of reunion is unlikely, but then again, troubled, as he would not be able to keep a weary eye upon this man.
In any case, he has given order to the command center to allow clearance of Veral's transport to leave the station.
