DESCRIPTION
The Aggressor-class Assault Fighter is the first combat model of starships made by Trilon Incorporated over one-hundred years ago. This model line was most notably used by the bounty hunter IG-88, with it's craft being called the IG-2000 during the Galactic Civil War era. The Aggressor is a high performance starfighter that falls in the category of Pinnaces, it's technical specifications and it's abilities make it overall a versatile craft in a variety of areas although it comes with a high price tag.This vessel is no slouch in firepower to say the least, with twin medium laser cannons located in the ship's mandibles and twin medium ion cannons, the ship has considerable firepower, although the ship lacks missiles or torpedoes. [It has also been fitted with a Groundsweeper light blaster cannon to provide cover during less-than-legal escapes.] Although the speed is mediocre, it's still a considerable threat and has above average maneuverability. [This specific example has had modifications made to it's thrusters and maneuvering jets, resulting in a negligible decrease in base speed, while providing a slight edge to both maneuverability and speed while the thrusters are overclocked.]
The ship does have a variety of functions, is a two seater in which the co-pilot can be delegated some of the functions, although this isn't necessary and one attentive and multi-task-capable pilot is enough. [An AI suite has been installed on this ship, providing it with the ability to perform functions on it's own with pilot instruction, such as minor combat capabilities, automatic hyperdrive calculations, and the ability to fly itself and perform evasive maneuvers.] This also has docking clamps on the front mandibles. The wings also have S-foils, if needed the wings could spread out or fold back.
Also if needed, this ship also has one forward tractor beam projector, can manipulate and move around disabled ships up to light freighter size. The ship also has ample amounts of cargo capacity and passenger capacity, so it can ferry people on the go and have plenty of room for storage. It's versaility and utility uses make this ship ideal for bounty hunters or other solitary people. [There is an additional 0.5 cubic meters of hidden storage below the main passenger area.]
This model line was discontinued some time after the Resistance-First Order War, although this ship can be found on the market via those who may have gotten their hands on these via various means such as collectors, re-sellers, or lucky finders, making them more valuable. Suffice it to say, making a whole squadron out of these ships is going to be impossible if not prohibitively expensive. [Vebria stole this one off a rich collector who had made many modifications to it himself, which she uses frequently while performing criminal acts in the Outer Rim.]
LEGALITY
Restricted. As starfighters, these ships are subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny by authorities. [In addition, there have been many modifications to this ship that make it illegal in most of space. If any authorities were to set their sights on this and successfully catch and board it, it's almost assured that the pilot would be going away for a long, long time.]INTENT
