Vengeance - Mandalorian Mission

[The Balance]

James waited in the cantina for the other two members of the mission to meet him. They were to track down a gang of thugs who had killed a fellow mandalorian, how disgraceful. He would make this gang pay, they were going to regret that decision. He took another sip of his drink, he again thought about the possiblity of his force sensitivity, but pushed it aside, in favor of the mission at hand. He looked across the bar, nothing suspious, so he took another sip of his drink and continued waiting for the other two to come.

 

[Cailst]

Gisi quickly arrived at his destination, apparently his recruit, James, was also there. Also, he heard that another recruit would be there. Since he had the highest rank, he figured that he would likely be the leader of the group. So he sat down and contemplated what he was going to do to get rid of the thugs.

"Hello James." Gisi said as he was sitting down on his seat.

 

[The Balance]

As James saw Gisi walk into the bar he let go a sigh of relief, the sergeant who was training him would be his commanding officer in this mission. He was a good feeling. The other member of the mission was corpral , it would be good to learn a few things from him too. He replied to Gisi, "It's good to see you again sergeant."

 

[Cailst]

"Good to see you too." Gisi said. "Do you have any specific plans on how to assault the enemy gang and destroy them?" Gisi said seeing if the recruit had any sort of plan worked out. If they didn't have a plan, Gisi would simply come up with one but he wanted to at least see if the recruit had any ideas wandering through his brain.

 

[The Balance]

James had been working something out, but he did not know if it would work though, but it would be good to have Gisi's opinion on it. He detailed his plan, "Considering we will be outnumbered, I was thinking of an ambush, one man lures them to where the other two are hiding, and then we open fire. Its kinda half baked though. Its your call Sir."

 

[Will]

Corporal Tetsuya Casshern of the Mandalorian army walked in to the cantina, taking a seat. ''Sorry i'm late, i had a bleeder in theaters.'' He explained, saluting the sergant. He was not a Mandalorian, but a human, drafted in. His position in this mission was odd, as he was a medic. Even so, Medics had to fight.

 

[Cailst]

Gisi though about James's idea. While it sounded smart, it didn't really sound honorable to do an ambush. "Since we are mandalorians, honor is important and your plan sounds rather dishonorable given that we wouldn't even show where we were till the moment of their death. However, since we are mandalorians, we should be able to take down any sort of gang." Gisi then turned to corporal Tetsuya. "It's okay Tetsuya. Do you have any thoughts on what we are to do about the gang we are to defeat?"

 

[Will]

''We must gather information on gang headquarters, their forces and movement before we begin an attack. Intel is operative here. We don't know what we're jumping into. Then, we assault the base.'' Tetsuya replied to Gisi's question. He was glad he wasn't being excluded for being human.

 

[Cailst]

"That would probably work for now," Gisi said. "We should probably go around together but stay only within range of sight. That way, we can gain intelligence from multiple sources but also remain able to help one another if one were to be attacked or if interrogation techniques would be necesary." Gisi said fully fleshing out his plan. "Any comments or suggestions?"

Gisi was hoping his team could improve the plan beyond his but at least it was set down. In his other thoughts, he found it ironic that in a mandalorian mission, none of the members had mandalorian blood as he was a wookiee and the other two were human.

 

[Will]

Tetsuya nodded, and mulled over the plan. ''Do we have any information on the planet currently? If things get hot, we'll need a good LZ and EZ.'' Tetsuya added.

 

[Barnabas]

It was a cold day on Ord Mantell. This was one of the key Mandalorian planets, however it was tucked away, safely within Mandalorian space, so Mandalorian soldiers did not frequent this plant unless they were stationed there as members of the guard.

Barnabas had not been to this planet in some time. He was always oin the move, in battles with Jedi, Sith, and even the odd Tusken Raider. He appreciated being called from his guard position on Dxun, it was nice there, but quiet eleven of twelve months.

His old friend Gisi had put in a request for his temporary transfer, something about a mission of revenge for a fallen brother. Gisi had said that he would appreciate another mandalorian higher ranked than recruit on the team. Barnabas was only a corporal, but he did not ask for rank advancements.

He calmly walked into the catina, hearing the place go from a dull murmur to complete silence. Gisi had obviously chosen this catina to put fear into the criminals who killed the unfrtunate Mandalorian, all eyes if not directly on Barnabas, were on the three Mandalorians sitting at the bar.

"Hey guys." He calmly said, he knew the names of all present, but not the personalities of the two recruits.

 

[Will]

OOC: I'm a corporal! damnit!!!

Tetsuya nodded in reply to Barnabas. He was a fellow Corporal, and the only 'true' mandalorian here.

 

[Cailst]

"We have maps of the region and should have that easily established when we begin the fight though the interrogation phase should not need that." Gisi said to Tetsuya and James. "Hello Barnabas," Gisi said turning to him and seeing the old corporal who had actually been there before Gisi but had not done as much and therefore did not outrank Gisi.

 

[Barnabas]

OOC: ...Ord Mantell is the planet we are on dude..., but sorry, I looked, you are both a recruit and a corporal, I just didn't look further the first time.

btw, I'm not old, I'm 23

 

[Cailst]

ooc: I meant you had been in the mandalorians longer though your character is far younger than mine

 

[The Balance]

James did not know who this new man was, Barnabas was it, but it looked like Gisi trusted him, so James would follow in suit. Turning to the man he said, "It is good to have another member with us Sir." The responding to Gisi, "should we start with the interrogation phase now?"

 

[Cailst]

"I suppose so, unless anyone else has any objections to our plan of attack. However, I will have to tell Barnabas what has happened and what the plan is." Gisi said hoping to get the plan going but wanting make sure that the plan went the right way.

 

[The Balance]

James looked around the table and saw no objections so he got up and left with the comment, "I'll be at the sabacc table if you need me."

 

[Barnabas]

"Well, why don't we let James have a little fun, I need a cold drink."

After Barnabas told the bar tender what he wanted, he turned back to Gisi.

"Don't worry about the particulars Gisi, your in tactical command here, just tell me where to be and if I need to watch someones back more than normal. My blades will do the rest." He ended his statement by patting the hilt of Morhanion.

He drank only a little from the mug the bar tender gave him. He really didn't like the taste of alchol, but more wanted to have some time to observe the others on the mission besides Gisi. They each seemed capable of handling themselves, but he wasn't sure how they would work as a team.

 

[Cailst]

"Well, right now, we are going to be questioning people about the gang and we will try to extract as much information as we can from them. Once we find out about the gang we will plan an honorable attack on them and destroy them utterly. For the questioning, we will probably want to be somewhat spread out but within sight of another one of us so that if there is a problem, you will have allies very quickly." Gisi said hoping the Barnabas would be able to do a good job at questioning the populous to gather as much information as possible without antagonizing them.
