Vengeance - Mandalorian Mission

[Barnabas]

"Too much info Wookieman, too much. All you have to do is listen into your surroundings, after all, we are Mandalorians, with all the weight that the name carries." Barnabas maked a small motion with his head toward a group of men getting up from a table along the wall.

"Those guys for example, when everyone else started quiet conversations after the shock of another Mandalorian entrence faded, they mearly stared at me. It was not the scared little kid look either, but an anxious, worried look, justified fear in their eyes. If I were you, I'd start asking them first."

As he said this, Barnabas loosened Morhanion from it's sheath, not drawing it, but letting it's presence be known even more so. He noticed that the entire group had stopped moving and looked at him for a second, then quickly went back to gathering their things, even more quickly.

"They definitely don't want to have anything to do with us Gisi." Barnabas paused, and said even lower, "You want me to *Question* them here, or should I follow for a bit first?"

 

[Cailst]

"We have occupied this planet for a number of years, the populous should be used to us by now. Besides, you can use your intimidation to extract information and if you do it enough, they will eventually give in and give you the necesary information. Also, since we are more intimidating than the gang memebers, the populous would be more likely to tell us the truth as we could easily crush them if they lie." Gisi said, "We might as well just start to go through the questioning process and getting out information now." Gisi was looking around the area for people that would likely bow to Mandalorian pressure and tell what the gang was up to so they could be easily destroyed and the dead mandalorian would be avenged.

 

[The Balance]

James strolled off from the table were the mandalorians were seated and took a seat at the sabacc table motioning for the dealer to deal him in. He was a moderately good gambler, but he was addicted to it. He couldn't stop himself once he was on a roll, but he decided to set a limit for when he was going to stop this time. Once he got the information he needed he would stop. He gazed along the other players at the table each one with it's own distinctive look. Most of them, though seemed to have one thing in common, they weren't looking for trouble, and the group they were looking for was. But there was one man at the table his hair shaven and his expression showed a stone cold glare at James. He might be the one James was looking for, so he quickly formulated a plan to hustle the guy. He would make the man think James was a bad player by losing to him a lot, but when the man felt too comfortable James would try to regain all his money plus the information he needed. Normally he would allow himself to smirk but there was no need to start giving away himself to the people at this table.

 

[Will]

Tetsuya sat at the cantina table, letting the audio enhancers in his headset do his work. Nothing out of the ordinary jumped out at him immediatley. He waited, calmly collecting data...

 

[Barnabas]

Barnabas stared at the Wookie for a moment. It was lucky that his visor was on because his jaw had dropped. He thought to himself *Wow, Gisi needs to realize when a guy wants a straight yes or no, not a detailed explanation that I already know anyway.*

Barnabas merely said to Gisi, "Err..., Yeah, I'll be over there, questioning those guys..., You go ask some civilians if they know anything...."

Barnabas regained his composure and went toward the group of men he had mentioned earlier. As he approached, the men stared at him momuntarily, then bolted for the entryway.

Before they got close, Barnabas drew his Bowie knife and lobbed it at the entrence's key pad. The huge knife nearly went the hold way through the wall.

With the circuit interrupted, the auto doors would not open for another few minutes, until the back up circuits kicked in.

The men stared back at the Mandalorian, who's blades seemed to have appeared in his hands.
Seeing that the only other way out was through the back, and meaning they would have to get past the Mandalorians, the men all drew blaster pistols and leveled them at Barnabas.

With a smile on his face he yelled to Gisi:
"Hey Gisi, I think I found some folks for ya to Question!"

 

[Cailst]

Gisi saw the men raise pistols against Barnabas. He was surprised though, he figured that the inhabitants of Ord Mantell had realized the futility of fighting a Mandalorian face to face but apparently, these guys were some of the slower inhabitants.

However, they decided to fight so Gisi pulled out his bowcaster and fired a shot at the chest of one of the men. The bolt went through the right lung and pinned the man to the wall. Given that the men were facing two mandalorians, it would like target practice to kill them and the whole mission felt too easy. Inside his mind, Gisi was hoping for more gang members to kill that would actually pose a challenge to Gisi.

 

[Will]

Tetsuya watched the exchange, then suddenly, his sensors picked up something interesting:

''...Should help 'em...''
''...4 of 'em idiot!...''
''...how about running?...''
''Yeah...back...''

Tetsuya turned to the two men, raising his assault rifle, the bayonet whirring, and the gunmetal teeth sliding around the saw, ready to cut. Tetsuya's mouthguard was in place, covering his mouth and nose. ''Stay where you are'' He ordered, taking the safety off. Tetsuya knew the power of this gun, it would rip through the people, and the wall behind.

 

[Barnabas]

Barnabas whirled into action the second the men drew their guns.
He drew Morhanion, so quickly that the blade seemed to just appear in his hand to untrained eyes.

He jumped into the group of men, tackling one to the floor, knocking him unconscious. He ducked at the last second as Gisi's bolt shot past. With two men out of the fray that left three more. He side stepped two laser blasts and in one swing that took the head off one man and the blaster arm off the other arm of another.

The last man saw his predicament and pulled something resembling a large grenade from his shirt while firing his rifle at full auto.
As Barnabas ducked into a booth for cover he realized what the odd grenade was, and electromagnetic pulse device.

Then man pushed what appeared to be the activation button and a pulse went out from the grenade.

 

[Will]

Tetsuya fired off two shots on single mode for his rifle. Both men fell to their knees, grabbing their groins. ''I've got two!'' He called, placing his assault rifle back ont his medical pack. He drew his Kamas, just in case. The blades of the tiny scythes gleamed in the fluorescant lighting.

 

[The Balance]

Seeing that the other Mandalorians had found the gang members, he slamed his cards down on the table, the chips flying up in the air and yelled, "Game Over, I win." as he raked in the chips. Then quickly un-holstering his blaster pistol he shot the man who was gang member and playing cards with him in the chest. The turning to the ones Gisi, and the newer man were attacking he shot one in the thigh as to cripple him for questioning later. Holstering his pistol he shoved all his money in his pockets, and grabbed his knife, running over to help Gisi and Barnabas.

 

[Barnabas]

ooc: I guess everyone forgot about the pulse grenade, oh well.

Lucky for all the Mandalorians, except himself, the emp grenade had been a dud, not discharging any pulses. Barnabas surmized that that was how the gang had taken out the other Mandalorian. With ones suit shut down, unless highly skilled, a Mandalorian was a blind hulk of steel, easily defeated. His own armor was not shielded from such a blast, except his helmit's hud. He was strong enough to keep the armor moving, even if it locked down, as most unsheilded suits would in the event of an EMP.

Barnabas looked over the carnage as he retreved his bowie knife.

Of the total eight men, three were dead, five heavily wounded and one unconsious. Barnabas knew what Mandalore would do with these men, but he was interested in what Gisi would decide. They could just kill the remaining five infront of the one unharmed man to get him to talk, or they could just kill them all and say it was a job well done.

 

[Cailst]

Gisi pondered his options, he had six gang members under his control. He knew three were dead but he did not know if there were other gang members, he didn't even know if this was the right gang. For all he knew, the gang they had been fighting could have been a different gang that also hated mandalorians. So, he needed someone to cough up some information.

"Let's take the guys into the hotel over there." Gisi said.
He figured he could check out a few rooms, put each guy in his own room and carry out interrogations to understand everything about the gang. If one man were not to talk, that man would then be shown one of his buddies getting tortured and that was likely to make him talk.

 

[Barnabas]

Barnabas merely nodded.

He threw a few gold coins at the bartender, saying, "Clean up this mess." If Gisi wanted to hide that the Mandalorians took these gang member from anyone, he had about thirty patrons to kill, so Barnabas figured the Bartenders shoddy job would be enough.

Barnabas walked over each unconsious body, giving each a swift kick in the head if they stirred at his passing. Then he threw two of the men over his shoulder and started walking towards the hotel.

 

[Cailst]

Gisi picked up two other gang members leaving the other two mandalorians to individually carry a gang member. Walking through the crappy bar, he saw a number of scared people who were looking at the mandalorians. It was not surprising as the terrifying thugs had just been defeated by the law, even if the law was a bit crude at times.

He then crossed the busy street. The people out there were not surprised at what Gisi was doing so they just kept on going. Then, he got to the hotel and got a stay for two nights. He figured it might take a while for them to crack so he made sure that he had the time.

As he walked into his room, he heard one of the thugs make a noise. It seemed one of them would be awake soon so he got ready to interrogate.

 

[The Balance]

Picking up one of the thugs he slung him over his shoulder. This one seemed to be stiring already. Quicking his pace, he caught up to Gisi, and entered the hotel room and tied the man up and put him on a stool. Waiting for him to be fully awake so they could begin to the interigation.

 

[Cailst]

Seeing that one of them was somewhat awake, Gisi decided to interrogate them.

"Where is your hide out? Gisi said in a fairly angry voice.

"Huh?" the prisoner said weakly.

Gisi took the man's hand, then punched it into the wall. The bones of the hand cracked and blood spilled everywhere around the man. Fully awakened by the pain, the man decided to tell Gisi where the hideout was.

"It's three blocks from here in a small crappy house." He said.

"How do I know you're not lying?" Gisi said suspicious of what the man was saying.

 

[Will]

Tetsuya tapped Gisi on the shoulder. ''I'm a doctor. If anyone knows about how to cause pain without death, it's me. Allow me to find out.'' He waited for the reply.

 

[Cailst]

"Go ahead, we need all the help we can get." Gisi said, glad an expert was with him. With those tools, the mandalorians stood a good chance of getting all the necessary information

 

[Will]

Tetsuya cracked his knuckles, and withdrew a syringe with a needle 8 inches long. ''This is a chemical known as tripsidium. It will cause huge pain throughout your body, and there's a 70% chance of death.'' He angled the needle closer, and heard the man whimper. ''OK!!! It's not there!!! It's-It's- 5 blocks from here, in the back of a bar. It's called Rancor tooth'' He tried to back away from the needle, even though he was tied up. Thetsuya smiled behind the faceplate. He threw away the needle, turning to the others. ''Not really Tripsidium. No such thing, that was full of sedative. Works 90% of the time, that trick. I've got a bonesaw too, just in case he lies.'' He turned back to the thug, the bonesaw revving ''But you wouldn't dare, would you?'' He said menacingly. There was no reply, just a whimper.

 

[Cailst]

"Good," Gisi said, he was grinning under his helmet.

Then he could find everything about them and know whether the thugs that they had caught were even the right one but he felt pretty confident.

"Could you ask if they have any buddies left or where they put the bodies?"
