Jacton had left Kiffar in a random spurt of exploration. He felt like he had a higher calling than being a prison guard (although, calling the Kiffu Guardians simply 'prison guards' was like calling Jedi simply 'soldiers') and decided he needed to explore the world. So, just like that, he hopped on the closest cargo ship at the nearest port with nothing except the clothes he was wearing and the weapons he was carrying.

From there, it turned into quite an adventure. Jac managed to sneak into a plasteel container and seal himself in so he could board the cargo ship for free. That took him to a stop he did not know, where he felt being unloaded and then reloaded at what felt like a fairly public port. Once that ship had taken off, he uncorked his container and explored. What he surmised, due to all the luggage, was that he was transported to a cruise-ship of sorts. Some ship used to carrying people. He could tell due to the amount of personal luggage in the cargo bay.

His first thought was to find a way out of the bay. His second thought was to get back into his container.

The ship lurched and turned, and he felt the ship enter a foreign gravity well (probably the atmosphere of another planet) unexpectedly. This was definitely not part of the scheduled route for the ship, and he knew what would come next: the crash.

With that realization, he threw himself back into his container, and managed to reseal the top just as he heard metal buckle and him fly into-

He awoke to the sound of gruff men speaking. He couldn't hear what they were saying, but he knew they were looking for something, judging by the sounds coming from around him. They were tossing things all around. Jac figured they were pirates. Why else would the ship crash and then have gruff voices looking through a cargo bay? He decided it was best to stay in his container and hope they didn't check it. Luckily, they didn't, and soon they moved on.

He waited for silence, and once pleased, Jac tore open the top, peered around, and sprinted out of the bay. The clear exit was further into the ship. Apparently, the crash flung an access door open. He found the closest room with an open door, ignoring the blood, gore, and a few moans coming from the bloodied cabins and hallway. The cabin he sprinted into had no one in it, and no blood, which was good enough for him. He shut the door and kicked in the access panel, short-circuiting and thus locking the door.

In case anyone tried anything, Jac waited just to the right of the door, with his .48 caliber slug thrower pistol in his hand, ready for anything. First of all, there were pirates on board (or, at least, he thought so), and second of all, he had never bought a ticket...so it was illegal for him to be on board. He had to take precautions.

And, as it turned out, the precautions he took turned out to be useful. He didn't have to wait long for the door to be blasted open by...two people, he felt. One of them, without much examination of the room, walked in. That was a fault.

Jac swiftly reached out and wrapped his left arm around the neck of the Twi'lek. He gripped hard to avoid any counters and stuck his slug thrower into the jaw of the Twi'lek while he tried as hard as he could to get every part of his body behind the girl in relation to the other fish-thing. Mon Calamari? He didn't know, Jac wasn't experienced with fish people.

"STOP STOP STOP!" He shouted. "Don't try anything, if you shoot she dies, and I don't want that death on my hands. It's hard to clean up." As he was talking, he gained as much distance as he could from the man. He looked fairly dangerous.

((So, I just realized that I definitely controlled the actions of your character, T-Cake. My bad. I promise he won't kill her! It was more as a way to get my character introduced. If you're not okay with it, I will totally edit it!))

OOC: Puffycow, Caleb's lightsaber is hidden in his pack. How can you possibly see it? Not a big deal though, just keep in mind nobody, except for Caleb himself, knows that Caleb has a lightsaber.

Caleb was surprised to see someone in his quarters. He just moved into the quarters himself, without saying anything and then he turned his back to the two people. He looked at the broken door and said: "Damn. Now we can't seal this room."

He then just turned around and sat down on his bed. "Oh, hi there. Welcome in my quarters. You'd better let BelleBlair go, unless you want to get beaten by a lady twi'lek." he smiled the typical nautolan smile.

He put his pack on the bed and opened it. He looked into it to find something to eat, but unfortunately, he had no food with him. He was damn hungry, and so were the two people in front of him, he figured.

"Oh, by the way." he said to the kiffar. "Name's Caleb Kansi. These were my quarters before the crash, and this is my new companion BelleBlair. Haven't seen ye on the ship before. Doesn't matter though, as long as we survive it's ok. Why don't ye just let her go, sit down, and tell us your story."

BelleBlair never let go of her blaster, It was like an extension of her body and the sudden unwanted physical contact by the opposite sex (so forcefully) was unwelcome. She lowered her arm and shot at his foot, directly beneath while he was preoccupied fooling himself into thinking he had the better of her. It was nearly impossible to miss but she did so on purpose as a warning, a quarter inch from his toe. With her opposite elbow she jabbed between his ribs in a fluid motion and attempted to rejoin her companion at his side.

(tit for tat. No funny stuff now. She's been around longer then the cocky kiffar and she ain't need no words to back eet up!)

"Pleased to meet you ..." she said under her breath while rubbing her neck.

((Oh man, my bad Dark Cloud. I must have seen that you had a light saber in your profile, but didn't think about where you stored it. I'll edit it accordingly. Also, I like your style, T-Cake. I was hoping for it, in fact. :D My guy is a dick and needs to be taught the lessons of the galaxy quick.))

Jac was confused, to say the least. The male fish didn't even react to him. Clearly, this thing was confident in his comrade. However, judging by his actions and words, he probably wasn't a pirate...or, just a very crafty pirate. Jac wouldn't let his gaze fall away from the man. A rookie mistake.

He hadn't been expecting resistance from his hostage. At all. The jab wasn't crippling, but didn't feel too good, either. That, combined with his attention now turned to an unseen blaster firing from her person, was plenty enough to loose his restraint on the Twi'lek. While he did have extensive experience in a harsh prison, dealing with the harshest of criminals, he had never thought to think of the states they were in while he was handling them: sedated (and, in general, heavily sedated), and chained. While some did escape from their shackles, he hadn't factored in their fatigue and demoralized mindset as well. This was his first experience with full-blown, real-life people with combat experience, and finally realized just how insignificant he was in the world.

But, only for a minute or two. Then he convinced himself that it was a fluke.

He jumped back, now naked against the two's weapons, however felt no real danger. Both just looked...confused, if anything. The Twi'lek looked more annoyed than the fish-guy.

Still holding his knife, as if it was some sort of security for the Kiffar (which was almost laughable), he straitened himself and held his jaw high.

"I believe I'll be the one asking questions. Twi'lek girl, I will admit you are handy with a blaster...well played. But, well...I let you take out the blaster. That I definitely predicted. Don't try it again or I'll...eat you alive or something...using my bare hands..." He somewhat mummbled the last part, saying it far more for himself than for the Twi'lek, who most assuredly knew he was full of it. Then he turned to the Male.

"And You!...fish-guy thing, whatever you are. You don't have eye lids. I don't trust anyone that sleeps with their eyes open. Explain why I shouldn't kill you. Or, rather, how I should believe the both of you are not pirates masquerading as friendlies in order to trick me into slavery."
The 'killing you' was hard for him to get out without stuttering or feeling dread well up inside his throat. He had a strong feeling that the fish-thing was very dangerous. He didn't really want to anger him, but made sure to show some backbone. Jac knew that showing dominance was the only way to get ahead. Or, at least, Jac thought it was.

Caleb laughed aloud. "My friend." he said. "If I was a pirate, I would slit yer throat and take all yer possessions and then leave yer body here to rot. Besides, the pirate vessel just left the planet's surface, we are the only survivors."

He was somewhat surprised by this kiffar. The kiffar did not seem to recognise nautolan species, and he mistook Caleb for a pirate. Caleb hated pirates.

"Look, we could do this the easy way, or the hard way. This ain't no game, pal. Just back off, put away yer knife, or get hurt."

He got up and pulled out his blaster and aimed it at the kiffar. "We're not your enemies, mate. We're survivors just like you, and we gotta help each other."

The twi’lek’s chest gently rose and fell as she silently kept her opinion of the situation to herself. The whole thing unnerved her…the blood and now the threat of crazed young bucks popping out of the dark and grabbing at her- She massaged her with stress and sat on the bed.

As he fishes blaster rose, his entire body tightened. The grip he had on his knife became stronger, and he felt adrenaline pulse through his body in natural preparation for combat. However, he had a knife, and halfway across the room was a dangerous fish, clearly skilled with the blaster. He didn't need to watch the fish to know he was skilled: it was in his voice. Calm, clear, yet strong. Jac was outmatched simply by the fish-man. The Twi'lek had already demonstrated her combat skills, and clearly she was more experienced that Jac was as well. There was nothing to do but surrender to these two mysterious creatures.

Slowly, Jac sighed and sheathed his knife back into boot. He felt defenseless; naked, almost. He didn't like the feeling of having two...beings, if that's what you'd call a Twi'lek and a fish-thing...in his vicinity that could both outmatch him. However, it appeared like he had to get used to it. Everyone else was clearly dead, judging from all the blood and mess of the ship. It was a wonder he was able to survive (albeit battered, and bleeding from a concussions he received when the ship hit the planet's surface) in his little container. Perhaps it acted as a cushion, and perhaps it was due to the cargo hold being farthest away from the impact area (the extreme stern of the ship). Either way, it was truly lucky. These would be his companions for now, until they figured out how to get off whatever planet they were on.

Jac still stood upright, alert, but eased as his adrenaline faded. Since sheathing his knife, neither one tried to attack him, so they probably weren't pirates or thugs.

"I've never been anywhere else besides my home planet, Kiffu, and it's sister planet. I've never worked with anyone else besides my race, the Kiffar. I've never even seen your race, to my knowledge" he pointed at the fish. "And I know your race to be slaves and exotic dancers, as well as criminals." He then looked at the Twi'lek. Yes, he was a wee bit racist...but only out of ignorance.

"Something kept telling me, inside of me, that I needed to explore. That Kiffu was too small and I needed to see the galaxy for myself. So I hoped into a shipping container at a dock on Kiffu, and it eventually took me here. I have no idea where I am, where I was going, or what to do in this event. I've never been in a plane crash. If it were me flying this ship, it wouldn't have happened." He straightened and smiled. "I don't crash ships." It was a cocky smile.

He asked no more questions. He didn't really care out their upbringing or how they got here. What he did need was to follow them so he could get off this rock and survive. So, he tolerated their company. Perhaps they could teach him something, even. Although, he knew it was a fat chance they could teach him anything other than to swim really well, or to steal, mug, or how to properly dance for a slave owner.

He once again smiled. That time it was for his last quip he thought. Heh, properly dance for a slave owner...Jac was such a comedian...

Caleb put his gun away and nodded to the kiffar. "My species... I'm a nautolan." he said. "I'm not a fish thing or whatever ye call me. I'm a nautolan. But please, call me by name. My name's Caleb Kansi and just Caleb will do."

He then sat down next to BelleBlair and sighed. How great, they had come across an ignorant and very cocky kiffar.

"Y'know." he said. "We're crashed on the Frozen Tundra. Gettin' cold out there."

He sighed again. The only person here who seemed to be... normal... was BelleBlair. He liked her and he had no problems with her, but he had the feeling a few bitchfights with that kiffar were about to come in the near future.

"So..." he said. "We'd better get some rest, I guess. Tomorrow we'll try to begin the journey for Tof Soren. I got the coordinates and maybe there're some vehicles in the hangar bay still intact. We'll see by tomorrow, ok?"

OOC: One of you guys may post in your next post that it's the next day, unless there's something you want to do first. It's up to you.

Belleblair cocked a lop sided smile at the Kiffar’s remark. It was almost flattering…. She had been considered human by so many of her species it gave her guilty pleasure for being included in their rank by some opinion.

“I’m no slave.” She said preparing bedding at the cots side.

“I’m no criminal…and I can’t dance to save my life.” she said titling her head and making herself comfortable.

“I’m a person. “

------

The next say the Twi’lek arose amongst the crumpled blankets of the night before and stretched . Her Lekku wildly curled around her and neck- her left smacking her face as she struggled to wrangled them back into their shackles. Once they were muzzled and rendered immobile she secured them tightly with a small sound of discomfort. She was the first to wake- and glad to be, if one of her companions witnessed her lack of control over her own body the embarrassment would kill her. At least none of them were Twi’lek men…not only could she not read Lekku, she couldn’t converse with it…or understand the people who did. She found it hard to relate with men of her own species- they unnerved her.

BelleBlair stood and fell back clutching her side. The small corset top covering her was just short enough to show the end of her blemished ribs. The white material was splattered with spots of discoloration, grime and sanguine.

It was worse then the day before, her skin deep purple and ugly around the injury. She stood, slowly this time and reached for her jacket to conceal it. She leaned over the sleeping nautolan, peering at him charily as her breast reached his eyelevel. It was hard to tell whether he was actually conscious….

As she struggled to reach her jacket just beyond him, she nearly lost her balance but steadied herself with her hand on the wall. She stretched out her arm again, finger tips brushing the jacket’s material but not enough to pull it to her.

"just a little more...." she thought, poking her tongue out of the corner of her lips as she seized the prize.

Jac was the second to wake up. And he regretted it. The apparent sight was almost unbearably awkward. A Twi'lek hovering her bust over a fish's face?

"Ew. Seriously? Can you two even produce a viable offspring?" He questioned with squinting eyes and sour frown. "I mean, why not just walk around him and pick up your jacket? What you are doing I would definitely label as 'excessive'" The early morning had always been a confusing time for Jac. He was not a morning person. But he had never woken up next to two completely different species before, and he wasn't exactly enjoying it. He sighed, and began his waking process of rubbing his eyes, stretching, and slowly getting up from the cold, hard floor he managed to pass out on. "Whatever, to each is own, I guess..." he mumbled while doing his routine. Once up, though, he looked at the two once again, but this time for guidance.

"...now what?"

Caleb woke up.

"Uh... what? BelleBlair?" he said. He was surprised to see her... breast... in close up. Caleb considered it a pleasent surprise, although he did not show it. He looked over to Jac and said: "Mate, it's not what ye think."

He then put his right hand upon BelleBlair's right shoulder and gently pushed her away from him. He then sat up and gathered his pack and checked if everything was still in there, and it was. Nothing was missing. It was not that he did not trust these two, it was more of a routine. He always checked his pack when he woke up.

He then equipped his blaster pistol and stood up. "Before we do anything, let's... find breakfast." the last two words left his lips very slowly. As he thought about food he thought about all the bodies in the ship. His hungry immediately subsided, but he knew that they had to eat something before embarking on a long hike to the city.

"Uh, we'd better go out, I think. Maybe we can catch some animal or find some food on our way to Tof Soren, or we could search the ship for supplies. I'm pretty damn sure there's got to be something left. Either way, I got my datapad here, with the coordinates so we won't get lost while traveling to Tof Soren." he tapped on his pack with his left hand as he mentioned his datapad. "So, watcha guys think?"

BelleBlair seized her jacket and pulled it to her, tearing away from the nautolan and turning her back. She was mortified and her cheeks every shade of red.

“I-I-I Needed my coat!” she stammered, quickly dressing it up as high as the collar would reach with a look of embarrassed intensity.

She erased the memory instantaneously as the moment passed, like an unwanted picture on the screen of an etch-e sketch.

Her stomach growled noisily as if giving consent to the idea of breakfast.

"Hey, BelleBlair." Caleb said. "It's ok... I guess. Forget about it. Let's find breakfast, I guess we're all starving."

He tried to let BelleBlair stop thinking about it, as he would quickly forget it himself. There were much more important matters at the moment, such as... food!

He walked over to the door and looked into the hallway. He saw some bodies, but he somehow recognised the area. He turned towards his companions and said: "My guess is that we'll most likely find food in here somewhere. Maybe in one of the other quarters or in the storage area. I'm gonna look for some food for all of us, any of ya wants to join me? If ye think ye can't handle the sight of corpses than stay there."

Jac was the first to address the point. While most people would have a hard time even thinking about all the dead passengers, Jac's first reaction was to eye the clothes of the dead. The clothes indicated status, thus giving him a hint as to how full their pockets were.

"Umm...what are we going to do with all these dead people? I mean...I've got no money...and these guys probably have some good valuables...is that unethical?"

Jac didn't really have a problem with the dead, or honoring their memories. He viewed dead as dead, and they were not just part of Earth, like the broken ship they were on. No one was going to care if he snagged a couple credits...

"Also, it's cold outside, isn't it...the cargo hold had all of these people's luggage. Maybe a couple of them brought winter gear. We'd have a better chance at surviving out there if we were properly dressed. And I only have these rags to my name..."

His clothes were in tatters, and were now blood stained. He could definitely use a change of clothes, let alone winter gear to survive outside this ship.

"**** it," was his final answer, mainly to himself. "I'm getting clothes, you get the food, Fishy. And make sure it's edible for humans. Like, I don't want any of those weird flakes people give to their goldfish." Yes, Caleb said he would prefer Caleb. But he also didn't like the fish reference. That sealed him nickname, in Jac's eyes.

He turned and went for the cargo hold. Along the way he stopped and rummaged through some pockets, collecting a good amount of credits. Oh, and a datapad, he liked that, that would definitely be useful. He also found a comlink, which he was quite pleased with as well. Perhaps this ship crashing wasn't all that bad...he was getting out of severe poverty, one dead body at a time.

BelleBlair let out a little sound of realization, letting her full lips gently part with remembrance.

“Oh! I’ll catch up- I need to get something from my room.” She smiled and nodded respectfully before quickly making her way down the opposite hall.

She had forgotten all about Mullen….

Though the gore splattered about the ship made her blood run cold and her pulse quicken with fear, she was driven by the urgency of the situation. The events leading to present had left her dazed and she had nearly forgotten her purpose on Ord Vaxal. Quickly finding her room- its door open and decor disheveled- she entered and found her small bag of belongings un touched. She silently gave thanks and looked over her shoulders before counting a number of credits and finding them in order.

With a flick of her wrist she switched on a travel size holovid and waited for the transmission to kick in with a flicker.

A Twi’lek male stood with his arms folded behind his back in the projection.

“Where are you?” he croaked.

She sighed in relief and touched her chest.

“I’m sorry, there’s been an accident.”

“and accident?” he echoed.

“My ship crashed….” she replied.

He gave a raspy laugh.

“Your ship crashed!” he exclaimed incredulously.

“Yes…” said BelleBlair, finding the predicament less amusing.

“My brother, is he-”

“He’s not going anywhere.” The hologram assured.

“Not until your buy him the right.”

“And what of his ship?” she asked

“His Ship, is now Boss Rhod’s. You may pick one. The man or it.”

“Alright.” BelleBlair said, She had only asked out of courtesy for Mullen. She couldn’t care less what happened to his ship- It was her brother she wanted back. Though she had held out a hope they could have transportation back to Coruscant once the whole dark business was over with. She knew he would not be pleased with the news of his craft....

“I understand.”

“You have till then end of the month to get him.” The male said, it was more then enough time- she was grateful of that.

“but I expect to see you soon. After that I don’t want to see Mullen’s mug on this planet again, do I have your word on that?”

She nodded calmly.

“You have my word.”

“Good. Yours on the other hand I don’t mind so much….” she shut off the transmission and put it away with her other things in the flat back pack she shouldered. Its straps were tight and held the luggage to her with little burden.

Sitting on her cot, the Twi’lek layed her face in her hands and fought to collect her thoughts…

They were scattered all over the floor, mixed amongst the blood, bodies and confusion.

It would take some time.

Caleb ignored Jac. Then BelleBlair said she had to go to her quarters and Caleb said, just before she left: "Meet me back here."

After she was gone he went out to search for food.
He bashed into some quarters on his way to the storage room and he found some bread along the way as well as some fruit. Finally he reached the storage room and he opened up some crates.

The good thing was, he found food. Enough to survive at least a month. The bad thing was, he could only take some with him.

After searching some more he found a big bag and he threw different kinds of food in it and after he was done, he went back to his quarters.

There he put the bag on his bed and waited for Jac and BelleBlair to return. He had found breakfast and that made him smile. All the food that would remain from the breakfast could be taken, in the bag, with them on the journey.

((Ignored!? D: Oh no!))

It took a while, since Jac stopped at every other body to check for credits and valuables, which nearly everyone had. By the time he reached the cargo hold, he was already a wealthy man by his standards. He had a datapad, a comlink (although the datapad appeared to lock him out every time he tried to access it, so he would need to fix that), and a good amount of credits which he roughly valued at 2000 credits.

Once he got to the cargo hold, he began to look for the biggest luggage. It didn’t take him long to find his first snow jacket. It was smaller, and definitely a women’s jacket, it was feathered (some sort of down) and had a fur-rimmed neck. It looked high class. That would be for the Twi’lek. The next he found was an old, puke-brown and crème colored puffy jacket. It had some shoddy repair jobs done to it, mainly with the use of duct tape. That was for Caleb, definitely. The last one took time to find, since it was going to be for himself, and he could definitely use one.

To his delight, only after 8 minutes of burrowing through other people’s belongings, he found an awesome dark green snow jacket, looking state of the art with a collapsible hood, temperature and sweat monitors for the body so the jacket knew to warm itself or cool itself, as well as dry itself off, which seemed like they were only a couple features of this awesome jacket. The outer fabric appeared to be similar to light-weight and durable Kevlar, while the inside conformed to his muscles and had the feel of the softest of blankets, although in reality it was mostly cybernetics. This jacket was reserved for the wealthy of wealthy. So, he explored the suitcase more. Unfortunately, that appeared to be the best the previous owner had, as everything else was nice, but ruined with ornate jewels or stupid-looking high-class garments and robes. He was ecstatic about the jacket, though, that was quite the find.

Extremely pleased with himself, he came trotting back to Caleb’s former room with the jackets in hand. Caleb was already there, so he tossed Caleb’s jacket at him. “This is what I found. Yours is pretty messed up, but it’ll do. But mine…wow, would you look at it!?” He displayed his new jacket with great pride. “This thing conforms to your body, even…it is awesome! God, what a find! That sucks that there wasn’t more of these things…otherwise I would have taken more and sold them when we get to the city we are going to hike to. I could have made thousands off of just one!”

He looked at the bag of food, and nodded. They appeared good for food. Well, if none of it froze on their journey. The Twi’lek was taking a little long, though. He looked at Caleb, and said, “You know, that Twi’lek girl said she was going to get her belongings…it doesn’t take 15 minutes to collect all your stuff. I wonder what she is up to? What do you think, Fish gu-I mean Caleb?”

((YEAH XD Ignored you! hahaXD Caleb and Jac, gonna be fun XD))

Caleb made his hands fists and he so wanted to punch the kiffar right in the face, but he, how hard it was, could keep himself calm.

"Thanks." he said as he caught the jacket. He put it on the bed until he would put it on. "I will look for her, I wanted to already but I could not start searching until you would have returned. Someone has to stay in here in case she returns before I have found her. When she does, tell her I am looking for her and then await my return here. See ya soon and don't eat all the food yourself. If ye wanna eat, then wait until both BelleBlair and I are back, ok?"

He then exitted the room and walked into the direction BelleBlair had gone. It would not be too hard to find her, he just had to search the quarters one by one.

He broke into some but no sign of the twi'lek girl he was looking for. He continued.

As he was walking through the hallway he suddenly heard voices coming from one of the quarters. One of the voices he recognised as BelleBlair's while the other was strange to him. Then it was all silent. He had not heard anything of the conversation, he just recognised BelleBlair's voice, or at least he thought so.
He grabbed his blaster pistol just in case he would encounter someone else, who had hostile intentions, and he opened the door. When he saw BelleBlair he quickly put his blaster back in the holster and he moved over to her.

"Hey, BelleBlair." he said and he stopped in front of her. "You ok?" he asked. She looked like she was not. "I was worried why it took ye so long, so I began lookin' for ya. What's the matter? Is this all too much for ya to handle? It's no shame if it is, ya know, because this really is one big mess." he looked concerned.

BelleBlair jumped to her feet as Caleb enter her quarters so unannounced. She looked up at him with her olive green eyes wide and her mouth open from surprise. She quickly clamed and stood, holding the straps of her flat-parcel pack instinctively.

“I’m Fine.” she assured him, lifting her shoulders, her brow wrinkled a bit with concern.

“The blood just got to me- I’ve never been able to take its sight- Not since I was a little girl…” She said.

She had no idea how long he’d been near- if he heard her conversation with the Hutt’s assistant or not but if he had there was nothing to say.

And if he hadn’t she would prefer to keep it private. The seedy underworld pointed its fingers and gave her a guilty verdict by association more often then she’d like to admit. It wasn’t something she was proud of.

“Where’s the Boy?” she asked, trying to move the glaring spotlight from her eyes.

Caleb nodded. He had the feeling something else was going on with BelleBlair but he decided not to ask for it, for it might not concern him.

"Oh, Jac? That arrogant kiffar? He's in my quarters." Caleb answered. "I dunno 'bout you, but I don't like him as long as he stays that arrogant and cocky. Anyway, let's go back. I found us some food and he found some clothes to keep us warm..."

He turned around and stepped into the hallway. He then started to walk back to his old quarters where Jacton waited for them, assuming BelleBlair would follow him.
