Why do people keep reposting their pictures?
Read GR1M's post.
On another note, now that a lot of people - and I mean a lot have the visual conceptualizations for their characters, how's about we go into a discussion on how they will behave. I don't think that'll impede too much on the think tank's work, and it'll be interesting to see what direction RPers are taking their characters.

When you do so, if you could post the image of your characters to accompany the description? Otherwise noone'll know what you're talking about, and noone really wants to scrounge around 77 pages of content for one pic.

Linora Tristan Tanoor
Councilor of the Order of the Jedi
ladyjedi2.jpg

Linora is a more action oriented person. She isn't one for endless debates, and is often at ends with the other more passive Councilors. However, she is very loyal to the Jedi, believing them to be the only way one could really live.
Relana Isolde Tanoor
Supreme Chancellor of the Republic
Chancellor.jpg

Relana is uncomfortable in her position as the Chancellor of the Republic. However, she handles herself well under stress, and has a passion for politics. She is more interested with the welfare of the people then of her own coffers, as so many other politicians are. However, she feels nothing should be done without careful deliberation first. This often puts her at ends with her sister, and thus the Jedi.

Indigo Eru'sha
Templar of Sha

ricciko2.jpg

Intraverted and self conscious best describe Indigo. Her entire childhood life was spent being loathed by the only family she knew, and the development of her farsight, a symbol of a chosen of Shalharra on Alsakan, further incensed her mother. Indigo's powers developed in a different manner however - void of love, affectin or positivity in her life, Indigo's powers came to reflect her darker side, the dangerous part of her, a tiny kernel that threatened to blossom into a destructive force the likes of which the galaxy has not seen...

Nan-Lharra Eru'sha
Alsakan Exile

sevengl7.jpg

Nan-Lharra, or 'Seven' as she goes by, is somewhat calm and placid, but hides a deep and terrible anger. She cannot tolerate the presence of her daughter Indigo, as she recalls all the things that Indigo has caused to make her own life miserable. Seven blames everything on her daughter, from bad crops to a common cold...all things wrong with Tae'Sha are Indigo's fault. Secretly, Seven plots to make her daughter pay for what the girl did to her life...and sometimes, when she is all alone, the quiet murmurs of her conversations with herself give away more than one would want to know about the mother of Indigo...

Jareth Nalu
'King' of the Tae

jarethcl6.jpg

Proclaimed the ruler of Tae'Sha, the Templars and the entire Tae race due to his infinite wisdom, brilliant suggestions and matter-of-fact attitude, Jareth Nalu is just a misunderstood old man. He never wanted this role, nor did he accept it. He is, in all honesty, a crotchety old man whose only concern in life is to care for his foster-child. Yet somehow, he has been so misunderstood that he is now responsible for an entire race of people. That's proof enough to him that anyone outside the front door of his house is a total idiot.

Edo Tesu
Jedi Councillor

tesutr3.jpg

The guarded Edo Tesu is not exactly a stadard image of a charismatic Jedi Master. His body covered in ritualistic tattoos, his face shrouded by a hood, worn almost all day, save when sleeping behind locked doors. Edo Tesu is somewhat old fashioned, rejecting the lightsaber to continue using swords - once so much more popular - but he's also somewhat of a radical in his conservative beliefs for the Jedi. It is for this reason that Edo is nt and most likely will never be Grandmaster of the Jedi - his views do not differ enough to make the Council disapprove of him, but at the same time they are still too radical for any further advancement to ever be possible.

You said that rejecting the lightsaber to continue using the lightsaber. Mistype? or I read it wrong.

Aengus Cadeyrn
Supreme Commander of the Republic

Rear_Admiral_van_Richten_by_Corneli.jpg

Calm, Cool, and Collected, Aengus handles himself well under stress and has a natural affinity for Naval Tactics.

Zerachiel Asklepios
Jedi

Ancient_Jedi_by_lusiphur.jpg

Zerachiel is quick to act, be it violently or diplomatically. In disagreements, he tries to compromise. When compromise initially fails, he reacts. Violently if necessary. He wears armor on only his right arm - his sword arm - and has a ritualistic Tattoo on the right side of his face that he received at Birth.

ELIJHA ODERYN
Jedi Guardian
Vergil_wallpaper__new__by_Alpha_Dee.jpg

Elijha follows the Jedi Code almost to the point where it can be viewed as excessive. He, however, doesn't agree with the way the Jedi seem to deal with those who oppose the Jedi. Whenever he meets someone who he sees "abusing" the Force, he reacts violently. He devotes almost everday to meditation and improving his swordsmanship. Elijha is cold and does not get attached to those around him. Not even his own brother.

BELYAEL ODERYN
Rogue Jedi Sentinal

Cry_Devil_Cry___.jpg

Belyael was inducted into the order at the same time as Elijha and both of them advanced at the same rate through the ranks and in terms of skill. The thing that is noticeably different between the siblings is that Belyael is laid back and fun loving. He soon began to deviate from the teachings of the Jedi when he learned more about the "Dark" side. Belyael left the Jedi as he saw the Code as restricting in what knowledge the Jedi could gain. His main intention was now learning more about the other side of the Force and expanding his knowledge and understanding of the Force. The added power that came with this was just a perk. This did not go over well when his brother found out.

Johnny boy, that won't quite work. The way the Think Tank is headed atm has the Jedi as a much less restrictive order, as we're predating Odan-Urr at this point. The Code is different, as are the Jedi's values. At this point we've pretty much agreed love isn't something to be frowned on.

I've never seen the point in interlinking your own characters, its not like you can rp with yourself. Backstory, I don't know. But when it comes to the rp it seems kinda awkward.

It's no different from writing a book.

Pretty much. You can usually get better interaction between characters if you're playing them both anyway, as you have ultimate control in the narrative and how it will play out.

Well, Elijha still being cold can take care of that. I can just make him somewhat like a Priest in the way that he sees he should only have devotion to the Force. I can just make the reason Belyael leave is just the learning Dark Side thing. How is it besides that?

I think you should avoid the Dark Side stuff for the moment, just go with grey. It doesn't seem to suit that he goes straight Dark Side immediately.

I'd also consider starting them both in the JEdi for backstory and then RP the exile. I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Well, I was meaning for him to go into grey. I just need help with wording it right I guess.

I was intending to just have it Rp'd in there history but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have Belyael in the Jedi for a few weeks.

IT's a lot easier to set up and protray relationships when they're both in the same place, at least for a shrot period.

The best character to have ever graced this site. He is so unique and realistic, that if I wrote that he punched you in the face, you would feel it for a second, then pass out from the pain.
