Pretty much. You can usually get better interaction between characters if you're playing them both anyway, as you have ultimate control in the narrative and how it will play out.

I'm not a fan of the "Roleplaying with yourself" idea. One reason is because I'm just darn lazy but the other is the fact that your on a role play site to role play with other people to make your character evolve (Just get another RPer that you like to go along the plot line with :D), a little bit of chaos is fine.

However, as you said Grim, ultimate control and interaction is always useful.

Hehe, as we all know that the more mysterious the character is, the stronger he is!

I'm not sure fallen Jedi would really work too well however, you could request to be a powerful Jedi Knight/Master that wants to take a more aggressive stance on the war (That will turn out to be a Dark Jedi when they break off).

Oh yeah, I know it isn't a place to ask but what exactly shall the Alsakans have over the Jedi? I mean, even if they play defensive the Jedi are powerhouses...

As the Tae homeworld is in the same system as Alsakan, and considering they are closely related and share the same religion...we could be dealing with the Jedi directly at war with the Templars.

EDIT: Also, there will be no Sith at all, and no Dark Jedi to begin with, at least.
