You two need to read.

Only thing I wore on my head.

We're only slagging you.

Chill.

But seriously, ditch the fedora, it's not exactly a babe magnet. Maybe look after your health a little more, start running, take up some hobbies you might otherwise not take part in, travel, write and read. All in areas that you otherwise wouldn't.

Become more cultured, look after yourself and your appearance.

I personally think you texting her a picture of your cock was a bit much though mulluns.

Yeah, you should have at least afforded her the courtesy of drawing a face on it.

Way I act here and in the real world are sorta different. Though I don't know why a fedora would matter much, I'll try it once with out it. But if wearing a fedora, something I consider apart of my normal atire, is going to bother someone that much, then I can tell where the relationship will ultimately go. Like I said though, I'll try without it again... if we even go out.

That was your woman I sent it to, then I slipped her a quick one when she was salivating all over it.

Also Mulluns, in terms of conversational advice:

What you don't get is part of the identity of what you do get.

"Would you like to come in for coffee + I have no coffee" = sex

People communicate in passive-aggressive subtleties, and being aware of that kind of behavior can put you ahead in social situations. This realisation is part of the process of becoming aware: It puts the thought in your mind, and you can either remember it and use it to get ahead or not. Recognizing common patterns in daily mundane speech, and overcoming them with spontaneous and articulate speech, will surely get you ahead in social scenarios.

Also it's a hat. I'm not sure why you're making such a big deal about it, or considering it part of your identity. It's a piece of fabric shaped to a certain form.

If we've learned anything from Chuck Palahniuk it's to not define ourselves by our posessions, or else they end up owning you instead of you owning them.

Summed up Team Fortress 2 quite nicely.

Sex is not a matter of importance to me. Not now it's not anyways.

Plus, if it's just a hat or piece of fabric, then it should not matter to her either. A piece of normal clothing should in no way matter in a relationship. I've been wearing fedoras close to ten years now. If she wore a shirt or necklace or something I was not a fan of, it would not be a turn off or make me want to not see her again. Unless it was like... very outragiously stupid/offensive or something.

But I'm yanking at straws here; the fact she likes or dislikes fedoras is a complete mystery to us. All I know she did not comment on it when we met, and was laughing, talking and sharing her interests just as I was.

For the record, I am not dismissing any advice Kaeb threw to me. I know I need to get into better shape, and I have slowly since I started working. Considering going to a gym my sister and brother-in-law go to.

EDIT: Also, not that it's a surprise. The goggles thing is a thing I do for the internet. I don't wear them to work, family get togethers and such. By myself and close friends out on the town is a different story.

Make the drive to So Cal and come work out with me. I have a friend who works for 24hr fitness and lets everyone in for free

I work out at a Crossfit place. Have been doing the stuff religiously for years. I highly recommend it, but starting with the beginner's stuff.

Gyms are great and definitely the way to go, but if it's too much trouble a home workout program can work just as well. Personally I forgo the gym. Push-ups, pull-ups, swimming, running--there's lots you can do at home/right around home.

I just can't respect 24 fitness after I drove by one that has an escalator leading up to its doors.

You, I like. I used to be a big time weightlifter and although I got bigger off of it and trimmed down I quickly saw the negative side effects of it from my Coach (I participated in football and wrestling). 40 years old and his knees were practically destroyed, the tendons and joints in his arms were weak, and a plethora of other tendon/joint strains. Honestly, after I realized all of those from from lifting I quit. Now I just run (I plan to start doing marathon running as I find it to be relaxing and REALLY easy), swim, and do good ole calisthenics. And although I'm not as bulky when I lifted weights I'm a lot thinner and a lot stronger. I was 210 and could bench 250 when I was a football player which isn't exactly that good. Now I'm 170 planning on dropping to 165 and can lift 225 - 230 depending on the day (I know this considering I benched with a friend one day last week to see how strong I was in comparison to before). So I'm pretty sure if I just keep on keepin' on that in the end I'll get in better shape than I ever was before.
