Yes, Arc himself gave Mira permission to take Lain and do as he wished. Part of it involved erasing all Ubi related things from Lain's memory. Mira's also shooting for a darth position(commandant, is riding on whether or not I can beat the battlemaster xD). So her knowing that shouldn't matter much.

Mira spent weeks tearing through every piece of Lain's mind, anything Lain experienced, Mira knows about. Not that it matters outside of a possibly interesting story, I won't be using anything against you, not that any of it CAN be used against Geist(At least, none of it SHOULD be able to be used against him).
