  • Hey bud. I happened to stop by the site on a whim and saw this. Regretfully, I will not become active again; it was great fun and I had planned on coming back, but I found myself unable to muster the discipline required to write complex or thought-provoking journeys on top of everything else in my life. I figured I'd give you the respect of a head's up on that point rather than leaving you with no answer. But thank you so much for writing with me, it was a fantastic blessing sharing our collective stories (same with everyone else on the site) and I hope it continues to serve you well. Regards.
That I am. Playing TOR mostly when I'm at a comp these days. Been considering coming back here a bit.
Sorry about that, I spent the last few days traveling all across Tennessee and dealing with the holiday, completely spaced about our thread; I got a new post up just now.
Good! I always thought keeping your characters as young as possible would be the best option, I'm glad we agreed.

I'll try to start it later today, once I finish with some of the stuff keeping me busy.
planning on posting either late tonight or sometime tommorrow, do you mind if I just post "Reserved" for now and write in my post later?
I know, still it matters little how much the time-skip covered, in fact, most of the people I have seen haven't even aged up their characters accordingly, as none even encouraged the idea, it would cause some trouble if everyone added 10 extra years to all their characters right after the skip, actually. Now that I think of it, if I'm recalling correctly, I haven't actually seen anyone who aged up properly according to the time-skip, save for a few perhaps.

Although I agree that it is a little weird, from a certain point of view, I don't see it becoming a real problem, combined with the fact that Galad has no such features to give away his younger state, and the two would look around the same age physically.
I see. Well, before the time skip, he was 15, and I had decided to age him up to 18 afterwards. This is something I have been giving some thought myself, but I have decided that this would be the best option in the long-run, which would allow me to leave some extra time for future advancements of the character.

You said it would be around 6 or 7 years ago, but honestly, I fail to see the reason behind that. Establishing it at this very date could prove to be the solution to this little problem of ours. Or at least, if you don't agree with it, around a year ago or so, perhaps even as close as several months.
It doesn't make any difference to me really, by all means, you can start the thread if you want. Though one thing I need to mention is that I won't be able to do it myself until tomorrow or friday, so if you don't want to wait for me, I wouldn't mind at all.

I have Skype, which should be "thelandtraveller".
They all do sound good! I like one before timeskip and one after in the Shadowlands as a first starting point. :D And especially them invrestigating his "haunted" estate on Tython prior to the timeskip. :CSly

I just got back from guard duty with the Army, so I'm exhausted, and the platoon is going outfor a party tonight, but I can get cracking on the idea tomorrow. :D
Ah he does, I think. Though we'll still have to provide a valid reason, like, maybe she doesn't reveal being a Jedi, just a neutral force-user and Galad would be interested in turning her. Or perhaps she directly searches for someone from outside the Jedi Order, as she knows that they wouldn't approve the whole idea of learning from potentially evil and unknown sects, and Galad agrees to go with her, first introducing himself as a grey jedi of sorts. They both secretly suspect the other's true identity, but they are of course forced to work together and trust each other, you get the idea. I'll think about it.

I'm not sure how to start this, but I'll open up a thread sometime soon, then.
I am planning on using Galad Nepos, my Sith Crusader, if you don't mind. And the witches would be best to begin with I imagine, seeing as they are the easiest one to find. From there, we could discover more as the story progresses, perhaps through some connection within the sects, we'll figure it out. I don't know many force sects myself, feel free to name any we might encounter along the way.
