Yeah, there are absolutely some other options for training and advancement. One of the most desirable, but also the most difficult to procure, is the apprenticeship to another powerful Sith. Through that apprenticeship, one can count multiple missions as training and even sometimes duels as well. Duels are a great way to advance, as using abilities in combat is about the best it gets for actually training an ability. Also, simple mutual training threads with partners can be useful--- though those might feel too much like classes. Still, there's an advantage in going one-on-one with a similarly powered Sith. Solo training threads are an option, too, but tend to be more difficult as they are required to be multiple pages still.

Didn't mean to put the entire plan on you. Your npc seems to be the adult in the room. I figured whatever I said as a base plan, things wouldn't go as planned and guy wouldn't be exactly where we wanted him to be anyway. But we could go with an apartment assassination. Make a Mission Impossible out of it. Or do something like the party idea I pitched. Though a couple of kids would be hard for fitting in. Or we could use the big building I mentioned in my first post as a place of work where he goes for late hour unlawful activity and we take him there.

Thanks Jake. I know what you mean. It can be a fight. I take what I can from other writers and their input and try to put to use for my pleasure. Yourself already included. I like the way you group action and dialogue for one. Tells the story better. Probably the correct way to do it too lol. I don't have skype. Never needed it I guess.

I left it kind of open. With all our ideas, we can include whatever we wanted as we go. All the stuff we pitched could go in there if we wanted. And this way nothing's planned out. Marechal can be like an officer's secretary who thinks he's more of an apprentice to become an officer himself, someone with the knowledge we're looking for.
