I don't think the public (American that is) cares enough to riot, unless millions more lose jobs within the next year. Most of us are content to just sit at home and fiddle around on the computer all day, or watch tv.
I don't believe in the 9/11 theory simply because I don't believe that something of that caliber could not be pulled off without a lot of people, and that it's very hard to keep a secret that large amongst a large group of people especially when there are personal gains to be made.
