If you've added her, just contact Master Maverick [Mav] to inform him about it. An unspoken rule is that he would have to give the ok for it, but he's a nice guy, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

As for Masters that you could use, you can use Master Kru Olivieris [my NPC], and even my Battle Master if you need to. Though I would much rather like to have the two meet in a real thread.

Yeah it's great. Also don't worry about it being complicated, everyone feels like that the first few days. Once you know where what is you'll love it.
