Well, the way that it would work would be something like this: your character fled the Temple and ran to the east to the Tython Ridges. I'll start the thread, with Xanthus telling his pilot that he wants to be dropped into that area because he can sense someone headed that way. I'll try to describe it as best I can in the RP, but in essence the area is a forested valley. Just one note before I make the thread. Xanthus won't be hiding his force signature completely like he normally does, but to force senses his signature will be grey, not dark. Just in case Jason senses him.

Sounds like grand fun. How to do this? Hmm...that's a rather general question. I suppose that it entirely depends on what your character will do just before the duel. Not to complicate matters, but the assumption is that your Padawan is alone and (likely) attempting to escape the butchery occurring in the Temple. In that case, we can have the duel in the Tython Ridges, essentially in the former location of the Kalikori Village (if you played Old Republic, you'd know what that is.) On the chance that you never played Old Republic, then it's essentially a forested valley east of the Temple. If your character fled the Temple and ran there, then I would say that Xanthus intercepted him and viola there's your duel. If you have another idea, then that's perfectly fine with me. Just throwing out a suggestion. ^^

The strange circumstances under which people meet. Fortunately, I don't really care what the non-roleplaying people who stick to the OOC section think of me. I didn't come here to fart in those forums, but I agree with you. I was raised in a military family, and while I don't revere the military, I do find it offensive to insult anyone that has died for any reason. It's simple respect. I wouldn't insult a dead prisoner who was just executed, I wouldn't insult Michael Jackson after he died, and I wouldn't insult a vet. There's no circumstance that morally justifies insulting the dead.

But, yeah, I'd be open to an RP :P I play most of the main factions except the Mandalorians, check out my characters if you're interested in any of them.

Glad to be of entertainment! I find anti-American sentiment to be a paradox. Even the Chinese could forgive the Japanese for their crimes in their liangfen lun policy of rapprochement. But the world seems to hate American citizens irrespective of whether or not they agree with what their government does. Seems unfair, especially for dead soldiers to be the scapegoat. Most of them never even wanted to fight, many joined the Army for the education and benefits. Afterall, that's what the Army commercials advertise.
