There isn't another saber, it's the second blade of the one he has, which is double bladed. He had just been using one blade so far, he ignited the other blade as it was spinning around his head.

In effect, the idea is that the second blade is swinging around to whack you as the original blade is whirling away.

I made a big booboo in Seven Steps Ahead. I thought, for some reason, that Kendra's form was Ataru, when in fact it's Niman. Oops. I'll edit my post to fix that, but I wanted to make sure-- did you say you were going to edit your question so we're talking about each other's forms rather than our own? If so, I'll wait for you to edit first, since me fixing this now would be pointless if you're going to change the question.
