Does anyone here remember me? It's been a while. Don't think I've been on since the end of high school or college. Saw a certain member's name dropped in a news article I was reading, brought back memories and wanted to drop by and see who's still around.
It's the governing body for international soccer; they're the guys who decide who gets the World Cup. Of course, it's always been blatantly obvious that bribes are usually involved in the decision-making process.
The living technology thing? Interesting; not too bad. While at the time I was reading I did like it, the more I think about it the more I realize how the concept comes off as mediocre fan-fiction. Cut off from the Force? Come on, really? Maybe resistant to some Force powers, but even that's...
It would be pretty hard to do worse than her. I've had people who defend the LotF series outright apologize for Traviss. Really says something when even people who like an unpopular series outright admit that her contributions to it were very weak.
Anyways, I'm really interested to see where...
Nathan.
People constantly shorten it to just "Nate," which drives me insane, but sometimes it gets to the point where I just stop correcting them. You can generally tell whether I'm close to someone or not based on whether they shorten my name or not.
Getting as many of these as I can. Also, while it's not a Star Wars game, Grim Fandango is getting a re-release, too. One question, though: do you need a joystick for Rogue Squadron and the Flight Sims, or can you manage with a mouse and keyboard?
I didn't play many games this year, but Smash Bros. and Kingdom Hearts 2.5 are two good ones. However, my personal Game of the Year would have to be Valiant Hearts. I am unashamed to admit that I cried at the very end.
I got to study abroad in Europe during the summer, with the added bonus of having my 21st b-day in Amsterdam. I liked it so much that I didn't want to leave. Other then that, pretty boring year.
Honestly, the cross-guard looks stupid, but to me it's practical. In real life, longsword techniques have you sliding the blade down your opponent's sword to attack, so you need a cross-guard to pull off the technique properly. If the cross-guard there has light coming out of it to block a...
I never found Talim very hard, but then again I wasn't trying to master her and I've only played Soul Calibur 2.
While we're on the subject, how about Yoshimitsu in both Soul Calibur and Tekken? Hard but fun to truly get the hang of.
I tried him out in Soul Calibur 2 and had no idea how to use him; I just couldn't figure out how to make him do those weird stances of his. Ivy's also pretty difficult for me to use, but somehow my brother figured her out after about 10 minutes or so. It annoyed me to no end since I had so much...
I stopped watching it a while ago since the quality went downhill and the filler episodes got on my nerves, but I will definitely go back and watch it, seeing how it got me back into anime when I was in middle school.
I've been playing quite a few fighting games lately, and I was wondering who do you think is the hardest character to play as in any fighting game you've played before. Some ones from my list:
-Gen (Street fighter 4): His stance system just makes it plain confusing, but it's kind of fun to...
