So, I doubt anyone knows this about me, but I absolutely love classical music. Love it. Food for my soul. That and anything instrumental. In saying that, both 2 Cellos and the Section Quartet cause me to have music-gasms. Literally. 2 Cellos make my stomach drop when I listen to them. But, not in the gross way. In the way that happens when you're in a car, cruising and go over a small hill unexpectedly and you get a bit of air. That sensation. I've heard 2 Cellos before tonight, but I've never watched them play before. I am literally squealing like some stupid Japanese fan-girl. All super Kawaii and shit.
Anyway, the point out of all of this is that they are an amazing group of talented musicians and they make the cello (an instrument I used to play and my favorite) do things that I never thought possible.
Has anyone else ever heard of or listened to them? If so, what are your impressions? And if not, I defy you not to. The same goes for the Section Quartet and any classical musician that has broken the barriers with their instruments. I love 'em all. I love what they do for the strings.
And if you don't know, now you know, [word insensitive. (If you don't get the reference you live in a cave or you lead a sad sad life.)]
