(OOC: Open to those sith that want to get a Tuk'ata pup to raise as their own hound. Max 5)
A7S4OQc.jpeg

It had been a remarkably coincidental find for him. Stumbling upon the ritual as if by providence on his visit to the academy library on Korriban. A ritual to bind a Tuk'ata pup to oneself in an almost mind to mind type of bond. The creature still its own creature but completely loyal to the sith they were bound too. The bond stronger the more one limited oneself during the ritual.
A ritual that followed the philosophy of the sith rather well at least in the matter of survival of the fittest was concerned. One could only have a ritual garb of a mask of carved bone alongside robes only for the sake of modesty though going fully in the nude was also optional along side skipping the mask entire. One could use the force but the bond would be stronger if it was only used to empower oneself instead of attacking the challenge head on. One's only weapons were clawed gauntlets of Tuk'ata claws to meet the beast head on in a contest of savagery and strength. Not his usual modus operandi but this ritual called for it.

It required more than a single participant as Tuk'ata while powerful on their own were still stronger as a pack. Nergal had found a pack were whelps were just about to be born and the ritual would be to recite a chant before one 'pack' met the other in a contest. Winner takes the others pups for themselves though sith ever the "fair and valorous" individuals that they were didn't have any pups to give up should they loose.
It was a ritual apparently created after observations of Tuk'ata engaging in this behaviour from time to time when one pack needed and injection of new blood to the pack. This time however there was a pack of six minus the pregnant matriarch of the pack. He'd already gone through the simple ritual that needed to be done beforehand so that she would draw her last breath as the pups were born. Those pups would then be bound to the victors and would be bound per enemy kill. This allowed those sith more suited to brutality and strength to gain more than one loyal sith hound at their disposal. Thus as the pack only offered up six challengers the open slots for this ritual couldn't exceed five others. Thankfully even if the group didn't fill up entirely, one always had the option to challenge a free opponent on the other side with a slight snarling sound.
This would allow say a group of a minimum of three three to walk away unscathed by the remaining three of the pack with one pup each. It was a peculiar ritual but the benefits it provided were quite tangible. Now all he needed was at least two more acolytes or other sith interested in the ritual to come to him and he could start the ritual.

He now sat in a chamber that lead out into the Korriban wilderness with a bone facsimile of his usual mask fastened to a balaclava that covered his entire head on alongside robes covering his lower half. His hands wrapped up to the biceps with the fashioned clawed gauntlets of Tuk'ata claws providing the only armour if it could be called that on his forearms. He'd put out a call out to not only the academy he was in but also to the other academies as an exercise in near primitive conditions and a training in working together with other sith when required by the empire as another benefit of the ritual. Of course he did say the slots were limited to prevent the numbers going into the tens alongside the basic outline of the ritual and its reward.
As a precaution he had a few more gauntlets prepared alongside the most usual and oft used types of unarmoured robes for the ritual. He knew he couldn't expect everyone to have the required tools nor time to prepare for the ritual so he'd provide it for them. Now all he had to do was wait as the time he'd proclaimed he'd start the ritual neared. Currently spending the silence in meditation.

PUPPY!

Cairo always fancied himself a good pet owner. The health of his little, weird iknayid he had nicknamed 'Legs' was testament to that, so he believed. A puppy would make a natural, perhaps even normal, pet for the young Acolyte. But with the amount of time he spent in the Free Worlds Alliance these days, part of him wondering if a Sith tukata was too conspicuous a pet to bring around space. If it was, would he truly be giving it a good home?

Eh, he could always ask The Squad to petsit it when he needed. It would be nice, too, to have a friend and fellow warrior that he could bring to the battlefield. Or play some violent, Dark Side-fueled versions of classic doggie games. Fetch, tricks, even going for walks could be exciting with a new powerful lil pup.

So, Cairo chartered his first flight to Korriban. The red desert. He heard mixed things about it, so he was glad to walk in with purpose; it wasn't like a vacation or anything. When Cairo approached the site, somewhere in Korriban's wilderness, he waved at the acolyte Nergal. "Hey, man, what's up! I'm Cairo, I think I texted you?" He texted someone, at any rate, that he was coming here.

Korriban had a long story as part of the Sith Order. Several Sith Lords already visited this planet and it had a strong Dark Side presence. With all this, it was the last place that Senin thought where he would be able to adopt a puppy. Even if said puppy was part of a species used as a companion by the Sith for centuries.

Since he was a child, the Acolyte always wanted a pet. However, due to the events that happened during his childhood, he never was able to have one. When news appeared that a female Tu’kata was going to give birth and some Sith were going to perform a ritual to bond with them, Senin thought that his opportunity had finally arrived.

Through this ritual, he would not only have a pet, but also a useful and loyal ally for future missions. While he walked to the place where it was going to happen, the G’weneen wondered how his Master would react to him showing up with a puppy in the next training session. Perhaps the little Tu’kata could help him pester Xeno.

When he arrived at the place, Senin saw two other Acolytes. One he recognized as Cairo, a guy that he saw in some parties sometime ago. The other must be Nergal, the one that the G’weneen contacted regarding the bond ritual. “Hello! I hope that I didn’t arrive late. I’m Senin.” he said to the man that could only be Nergal, before turning to the other Acolyte. “Hey, Cairo! How are you?

Stood up when Cairo came into the chamber. The sith acolyte was unlike most if any he'd seen among the sith so far, his projected aura in the force a bubbly, welcoming and warm thing, yet still held that ability to flare up hot and burning. Hinting at something similar to the more rage fuelled warriors he'd seen. "You can call me, Nergal." He replied in what passed for a warm tone for him, his voice usually almost flat and calm. Then the other arrived and his projected aura in the force was a complex thing, desire and other aspects in many different forms blended with other tints to make its own unique blend in the force.

Waiting a bit to allow Senin and Cairo to catch up to one another as he figured the two knew one another allowed Nergal to observe both a bit more. His sight in the force showing more at times than other saw but just as often could be a lot less than someone with physical sight might have. When he saw a good point to cut through the conversation he gestured to the table with the ritual garbs and tools layered on top of it.
"There are robes along side armguards to wear for this ritual over there. This ritual is a subversion of a natural behaviour that Tuk'ata sometimes engage in, with a bit of some force rituals more shamanic in nature than anything we can set the matriarchs womb to produce just as many pups as there are Tuk'ata in her pack.
Besides her, of course. We can then challenge the pack to a contest of combat to the death, allowing us to claim a pup for ourselves by winning. Should you want more than one pup then you will have to fight another member of the pack. If you are going to try for more than one pup I would appreciate being told now. Other than that are there any questions?
"
He asked, his tone still calm but had a slight friendly tinge to it. Tone blending with his naturally deep baritone voice to become something soothing at least when used in such a tone.
