Deloi nodded at Kressh's statement about Jedi Master Matsu Ike. In Deloi's mind, Lady Snowblood was very different from other masters. Deloi's master and he had very close specialization with their abilities in Makashi being very powerful. Both of Ike and Deloi's master were respected members of the Jedi Order and yet they had few similarities beyond that. Deloi once again did not notice his vulnerability and the fact that Kressh could easily use Electric Judgment on him again as he motioned and prepared to continue the duel.

"Perhaps, but let us continue our duel."

Lamia nodded in agreement as she released another bolt of Electric Judgement at him, stronger then the first time. She didn't know what would happen, but she was sure he would not die if it hit him.

Deloi gasped as he had almost forgotten that Kressh had the ability of Electric Judgment. Scrambling to move, Deloi put up both of his hands in defense just as the bolt came at him. The bolt charged right to his hands and Deloi absorbed every bit of it. Deloi had not practiced too much with absorbing Force lightning and effects akin to it, so he was glad that Kressh was only powerful enough to use a bolt of lightning, at least in his mind she was. Now Deloi had absorbed the energy and had excess power from it. Rerouting that power, Deloi unleashed the energy he absorbed into a Force throw far more powerful than Deloi could achieve on his own. He attempted to fling Kressh with the power he absorbed.

Lamia felt the Force Throw and was tossed back about 30 yards, doing several back flips to slow herself down and stabilize herself. She focused and formed a ball of Kinetite, which her Master had taught her, and threw it towards Deloi. Again, it would not kill him, but she did not know what it would do to him.

Deloi ignited his lightsaber while Kressh went flying backwards into the air. He was ready to see what Kressh would do for her next attack. The attack Kressh pulled off absolutely frightened Deloi. He did not recognize the technique as kinetite, however it looked incredibly like Force lightning. Thinking it was probably another bolt of Electric Judgment, Deloi's fear subsided not realizing that the technique was a darkside Force power. The technique did feel eerily familiar to the use of Force Lightning. When the ball came, Deloi had enough to time to form a defense from thirty feet away. Deloi deflected the technique with his hand by utilizing a Force barrier to send the blast into another direction. The kinetite collided with a wall and blew right through it. Deloi's eyes widened as he turned to yell at Kressh.

"What was that? It could have easily killed me if I had not defended from it properly. Was that a darkside technique?"

No. That was a technique known as Kinetite. I was taught it by Master Ike. I believe she learned it from another Master.

Lamia began to move closer to Deloi. She planned to wait until she was within perfect striking range to engage him again.

Deloi finally remembered the technique when Kressh called it "Kinetite." The technique was indeed a darkside ability, and if it was taught by Matsu, then she would indeed know darkside techniques. That worried Deloi greatly considering that it was a powerful darkside technique that should not have been taught to a Padawan, especially one so close to the darkside. The situation seemed to sho that Kressh knew nothing about the technique's nature. The fact she knew nothing about it being darkside technique surprised Deloi as the attack could have killed him.

"Kinetite is a darkside technique. That power could have leveled a ferroconcrete bunker! Do not use that power again, and do not think I do not notice you coming closer to me."

If you insist...

Lamia tried again to let out a wide swath of Force Lightning towards Deloi. This would be stronger and far more difficult for him to block or absorb then the meager bolts she had sent out. Plus, it could surprise him with how powerful she truly was, even though she was still holding back its full strength.

Deloi was now fully disappointed by Matsu Ike's teachings. Even if Ike had not taught Kressh to use Force Lightning, teaching her techniques of the darkside was a far worse decision than she could have imagined. Now there was blue, not yellow, lightning being thrown at Deloi, and it was sustained Force lightning. This time, Deloi had his lightsaber ignited and ready to defend against the lightning. Deloi moved both hands onto his lightsaber as he held back the lightning, and used his lightsaber to absorb most of the lightning with the excess being easily absorbed by his abilities. However, this technique was far too dangerous for a Padawan to be using, not only to Deloi, but to the Padawan. As he held it back it slowly became harder to deflect the lightning. The other Jedi witnessing this use of Force lightning were also taken aback by the Padawan's blatant use.

"That is enough, Padawan stop."

Yes, sir.

Lamia brought her hands to her side.

I'm not exactly sure why it was blue. Normally when I use it, it's yellow, or if I'm angry, red. Its color seems to depend on how I feel at the time I use it. Yellow for peace, red for anger, and blue... for worry.

Deloi was now uneasy and contemptuous towards Lamia Kressh's training at the hands of Master Ike. Matsu Ike was Deloi's longtime friend and was a trusted colleague of his, but if she had been teaching such dark abilities to a Padawan who surely would have needed the exact opposite, something had to be done. Kressh had gone from using Electric Judgment to full Force Lightning that only made it perfectly clear that she did not need to become a Jedi Knight yet.

"I do not know what Master Ike has been teaching you, but if you truly learned the techniques you displayed here from her, there needs to be a serious discussion about this. That was Force lightning, forget the use of Kinetite, that last ability is far too inappropriate for you. You could have easily killed someone, never mind myself. If you had used Kinetite or Force Lightning on a less experienced Padawan, you would have killed them. This duel must be ended, I fear it is far too dangerous to continue."

If you insist, Master Deloi.

Lamia crossed her arms in thought before remembering something she had discovered.

Master Deloi, I just remembered something that I had discovered in an old holocron. I am curious as to whether or not you would be interested in hearing what I found.

Deloi was preparing to make his leave as he turned his lightsaber off and clipped it to his belt, but then Kressh caught his attention once more. Apparently Kressh had come across a holocron which was rarely found throughout the universe. The holocron did interest Deloi and he did wish to learn the secrets it held within. Deloi moved over to Kressh assuming she had the holocron with her or back at her quarters.

"You discovered an old holocron? Well what was in it?"

Lamia moved closer to Deloi.

The history of the Sith species. I found something unusual about my ancestors, something that may greatly surprise you.

Lamia was not sure what Master Deloi's reaction would be to this. She feared it would be negative, but perhaps he might show some interest.

Deloi figured that he should hear what Kressh had to say. Deloi actually had a good guess for the meaning of "something unusual." The genre savvy part of his brain was telling him that the unusual information, while not known by Deloi, would probably not surprise him. At this point in his Knighthood, there were few things that would surprise him. Like a Sith feinting defeat, Deloi could guess that the information was what he expected. In his usual snark manner, Deloi commented based on his own guess.

"Let me guess, the holocron details ancient Sith Jedi."

You might be surprised, but yes. It appears that Sith from Korriban were also some of the Force-Sensitives brought by the Tho Yor pyramid ships. They along with the other Force Sensitives formed what was called the Ji'daii. Essentially the predecessor to the original Jedi Order, their descendents were Ji'daii Masters up to the point that the Order was formed. What occurred after that appears to be either missing or intentionally wiped from the holocron.

Deloi lowered his brow in an aside glance as he noted that this surprising twist was not very surprising at all. The Tho Yor ships had picked up all kinds of Force sensitives on their way to Tython. Deloi could almost shrug off the surprising information as he was plainly able to guess.

"It's not that surprising. It seems like a usual 'shocking reveal.'"

Still, isn't it interesting in that the Sith were one of the first species to become what we today would consider a Jedi?

Deloi did note that the information was rather interesting despite being unsurprising, but there were more pressing matters to attend to. Deloi needed to speak with Matsu Ike about the recent duel he and Ike's apprentice had. A quick discussion on her teaching methods would be needed if it was truly her whom taught Kressh Force Lightning. The darkside techniques were counter productive in proving that Kressh would be a fit Jedi.

"Yes, it is interesting, but I believe there are slightly more pressing matters to attend to. Where is Master Ike? Can you take me to her?"

If this is about me utilizing Force Lightning: It runs off of whatever emotions I am feeling. The color yellow symbolizes peace, while the red symbolizes anger. The blue symbolizes fear.

Lamia was in fact telling the truth. Further examination of the combat shown in the holocron showed that whatever sparks or lightning came from a Sith Pureblood's hands depended on what emotions they were feeling.

(ooc: Me using the words Force Lightning earlier was simply a mistake, but we're too far forward for me to edit it)
