After the shuttle touched down near the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Josh made his way towards the temple. He was dawning his classic black robe, with his hood on. He made his way through the crowds of people and up the temple. Once inside the temple, Josh seeked out the Jedi Council. Once he found the Jedi Council chamber, he stood in front of two big doors. They were closed. Josh put a hand on each door, and pushed them open. He then walked in, to the middle of the room. Josh raised his head, and removed his hood. He then kneeled, and placed his lightsaber in front of him. He kept his head down.

"My name," Josh started, "Is Joshua Drake. I'm here to seek guidance from the Jedi Council. My story begins when I was young, witnessing my father killing my mother. Then me killing my father in rage. This event, changed my life, sending me spiraling down the dark side. Once I learned of the Bogan, I joined them. I was about to complete my 'initiation mission' with them when my mother spoke to me," Josh stopped. Letting his story so far sink in. "She was right. By joining the Bogan, and becoming a Bogan, I was being just like my father. I do not want that. So, I came here. To seek guidance. I am at the Council's disposal," Josh finished, keeping his head down.

As soon as the council chamber was entered, Huang was alerted. He strode to his desk, in front of the holo-receiver. He materialised in the Coruscant council chamber.

He listened.

''There is a lot of darkness in this tale. I'm not there physically, I cannot measure. But I would be wary of welcoming you in with open arms.''

"I can assure the Council, I mean no harm. I only seek their thoughts and wisdom. I wish to change my life, for the better. If I must be under watchful eye of the Jedi at all times, I do not object that. I want to live my life for the better. For my mom," Josh said as he trailed off at the end.

Josh wished the events that happened when he was younger did not occur. He felt alone. Useless. He didn't want to be used for destruction. Violence. Or death. He wanted to be used to protect and instill peace to the galaxy. The more Josh thought about becoming a Jedi, the more his confidence arose.

"The Bogan live on lies and deceit," said Seamus contemptuously, "how do we know that we can trust you when all you give as your reason is caused based upon an emotional attachment? That is less than Jedi. Even under our watch, perhaps more so, if that is the case, you could betray us." The tiny, hard-eyed Jedi Master glared at the new comer. "I don't care what skeletons you have in your closet...I want to know your reasoning for why and now.

"Many actions have been taken against the Bogan, it would only be fitting that they send someone to subvert us as we did them."

"I understand where you come from Master Jedi," Josh said as he raised his head, "but I'm not fully a Bogan. My training wasn't completed in a sense," Josh said as he stood before the Council. "I'm aware of the sacrifices a Jedi must make. I'm willing to submit to your teachings. Once again, I'm not here to lie or decive you Master Jedi. I came on my own will. If you must, search my feelings. My thoughts. Just give me a chance at redemption," Josh paused, "that's all I ask. If that alone is too much, then I will leave Master Jedi," Josh said, hoping the Council would find him sincere.

((ok, the reason I'm here is because I was his master when he was bogan, and we're thinking of continueing that here. And it fits with my character.))

Niva Entered the hall. A guard calling to her as she entered. "I heard there was a bogan on the premises. Is that true?!" She caught sight of Josh. "By the stars you really are here."

She turned to address the council. "I know it is not fully my place to speak. But I would like to remind the council of Jedi Knight Shingen Ujio, who was trained by my friend Nuka Methoataske. He was a deserter of the order, but under her guidance he was able to make a full recovery and resume his work with the jedi. I have all of Nuka's notes on his case, I would like to personally take charge of the remainder of Josh's training in the order. If for no other reasons than to try to duplicate the results Nuka's experiments achieved."

"She doveted her life to bringing Jedi back to the fold," Niva held her hand to her chest. "And I have too now. Please, allow me to train him."

Josh looked at the female who entered the Council Chamber. He couldn't help but smile after hearing her speak on his behalf. Someone was willing to believe in him. And that's all he wanted. Josh wanted nothing more than a shot at redemption. He wanted to prove to everyone that everyone at least deserved a second chance in life. As long as the means weren't to steep. As in killing over five people, with no motive other than violence and hatred.

Josh then looked towards the Council. Awaiting their orders. He was their pawn now. He would do what they asked of. Josh used the force to grab his lightsaber, and clip it back to his belt. He took a deep breath, then exhaled deeply. The Council would decide his fate.

Jedi Council Deliberation

------------------------------

"It has been decided," said a sour faced Seamus, "to give you one chance to succeed as a Jedi. No more, no less. You will be entrusted to Master Niva as her apprentice. However, there is to be one condition as I will be keeping oversight. If I so much as get an inkling of treachery from you or your actions; you will face consequences.

"Dismissed. Do not take what we have decided lightly."

Niva smiled and turned to Josh. "Welcome to the order. Uh, this may sound weird, but, what's your name?"

"Thank you Master Jedi," Josh said as he bowed. He couldn't help but smile. He was grateful for the Council's decision. He wouldn't let them down. He turned to Niva, his new Master, "lets begin shall we," Josh said with a smile, as he exited the Council Chamber.
