A number or a name? (MANDOs)

[Tsar Fire]

113 gave a faint twitch, an irritated frown crossing her features for a faint instant. She'd said that already.

"My name is 113. I don't know what else you want me to say."

These people were confusing; and she still wanted to know where Archangel was.

((Phil told me he passed so I shall post again.))

"Vary well, 113 it is then. What can you tell us about the training you went through?" Hibirar asked.

 

[Tsar Fire]

"I downloaded executable simulations and ran them; until my responses were within acceptable ranges. Then I moved to drills; piloting archangel through various obstacles."

Wait... maybe they meant earlier?

"Before that, I was mostly just tested and checked. They sometimes asked me to move things without touching them, but I never understood what they meant."

She looked at the men, still somewhat puzzled by the constant questions.

"I've learned most of what I know through simulation and drill."

"I see." Hibirar said turning to Mandalore "Do you have any questions sir."

 

[Phil]

Mandalore looked on as the interigation went on, having his arms crossed as he thought some. The sounds of Aspect's head plates moving slightly was heard over the brief silence as Mandalore turned his head up some and looked at 113. It was an interesting name for a non droid.

"Tell me 113, was that always your name? How did you acquire it?"

 

[Tsar Fire]

"Yes."

She frowned.

How?

"Ever since I woke up for the first time, they called me that."

She glanced around the table.

"Is there anything strange about that?"

 

[Arm514ve]

Hibirar leaned over and spoke close to Mandalore. "It appears the Imperials erased her memory somehow." he said in a whisper.

"It's not to strange but usually numbered names are given to droids not living beings." then turning his attention back to 113.

 

[Phil]

"Unless they are prisoners."

Mandalore added, though Hibirar was mostly right on what he said, and was doing fine without him chiming in every so often. Leaning back some on the reinforced seating to support the heavy armor some Mandalorians wore, he went to have his arms crossed still.

"Tell me about this Arch Angel."

He asked, knowing it was the mech suit, but wanted 113's explanation for it.

About Archangel?

What can I say?

How do I explain it? Even the white shirts didn't understand.

Just the simple facts.

"It's an amazing machine; it's pretty much my second body."

She still couldn't feel Archangel... it was... uncomfortable.

"In it I can do so many cool things. I can neutralize things, and fly, and move really fast... I can see a whole lot too..."

Hibirar frowned at Mandalores statement, about prisoners though he did understand why they were numbered but it wasn't there actual names. 113 on the other hand only responded to that.

"sounds like a symbiotic relationship sir, between the pilot and the machine." Hibirar said in response to 113 description. He kept his other theory's and observations from when they looked over the machines components to himself he didn't want to bore the Mandalore with the technical details. "I think its fair to allow 113 a question sir since she has been cooperating with us."

 

[Phil]

"Agreed."

Mandalore said, then leaned forward some as he folded his hands infront of him on the metal table. A few clicks were heard from Aspect behind them as it went to observe the area some, and saw a heat signature behind one of the viewing windows that was mirror tinted on their side.

"Since you're not exactly a prisoner... in a sense, what do you wish to know, 113?"

What do I wish to know?

The initial question... where was archangel, sprang to her lips... but she paused.


Why did they ask these questions. What was missing? Something was making it hard to understand.

Where were those stairs?

What kind of question was that?

She frowned.

"I am curious... if I could know who you are..."

 

[Arm514ve]

Hibirar sat back in his chair. "I am Admiral Hibirar Parijir, Mandalorian Naval Forces, nice to meet you. The man sitting next to me is...well I think its be best for him to introduce himself." Hibirar said politely letting Mandalore introduce himself.

 

[Phil]

"I am Mandalore the Indomitable of this era, I lead the Mandalorians under me so that we may make a future for ourselves that would not damn us as past ones have done. The droid behind me here is Aspect."

Mandalore stated, hands still folded as he was leaning forward some. 113's reflection was seen in his blue tinted visor on the helmet, making it impossible to see what the man behind the armor looked like.

"I can tell though that you are still curious on some things."

113 nodded faintly.

"What are Mandalorians?"

"This one seems to have been sheltered most of her life. Or Uneducated."

Mandalore only nodded slightly at Aspect's words, taking a sigh as he looked to Hibirar, then back to 113. With a shake of his head, he thought the best way to explain this to the woman.

"Mandalorians, the ones here before you are warriors. Trained and bred from the start to be as such. We fight for honor and glory, though this has led to our downfalls before in the past. We wish only to find our rightful place in the galaxy, and for us to find a worthy opponent to fight against, a foe who may very well threaten our existence."

He said, though he was starting to hope he did not have to educate this girl in more things that even a child should know. If so, he would have to consider putting her in school...

 

[Tsar Fire]

"I see... I think I don't know a lot of things... is there a terminal I could access? To get answers to questions? It would go faster that way..."

She didn't know what to expect. She didn't know the meaning of all those words, of what he meant...

 

[Arm514ve]

"I can arrange that, with your permission Mandalore of course." Hibirar said standing up. and looking at aspect for a minute thinking. "And I might need aspects help to." Hibirar added.

 

[Phil]

"Permission granted. Aspect, see what you can do to help the Admiral."

"Acknowledged."

Mandalore nodded to Aspect's response, then turned to Hibirar and gave a slow nod that he was free to do it now. He didn't need to tell him to make sure she did not try anything, such as hacking into the systems incase she happened to be a sleeper agent. He was being fair and trusting, and would have no problem ending the woman's life should she suddenly threaten the people on Hibirar's ship.
