Smash. Gurp did not speak basic, like at all, but there were some words that were cognates with Huttese. Droid and Smash were both basically the same words. That much was understood. The rest of the chaos with the Wookiee negotiating or the droids making threats... nothing. The Gamorrean turned, albeit slowly, away from the Wookiee and that whole scuffle. He had remained near to the door so peeking outside he could very quickly make out a couple B1 Battle Droids nearby.

<<Droi Smasha!>> He shouted out, repeating the instructions from Livi as her blaster bolts soared towards one of the ones he could see through the doorway. That left one more for the Gamorrean to target. Gurp swung his heavy blaster rifle around and fired a single shot at the torso of the remaining droid within his view cone. That heavy shot would in theory be enough to vaporize half the droid and scatter the rest of its parts around the street.

Gurp then used the wall as cover, looking back at his brother. The other Gamorrean had no real ranged weaponry so this was not a good fight. He wondered what the new plan would be, both of his brain cells were firing at full speed thinking of what to do with his brother. Maybe Burk would guard the Wookiee! That had to be it. The younger Gamorrean smiled awkwardly at the big fuzzy thing, showing off his yellow teeth full of holes and chips.

Burk?

The thought shot through his mind with the clarity of a shooting star, as the Gamorrean realised that the real threat was now far greater than the mobile tapestry, Salbecca. Promising himself that he would one day return for round two with the Wookiee, he turned to face the robotic voices and gunshots, and looked at Livi.

“Burk, SMASH!” he bellowed, spotting two of the droids breaking ranks, electro staff’s in their hands. They must be coming for the Wookiee! he decided. Burk had seen such tactics before, his master employed them often - firefight with one group, whilst the boys go in and grab the target.

But Burk would not let that happen - the Wookiees pelt belonged to Ms. Cross!

With a mildly frustrated oink, he looked at the two droids approaching the main entrance, grabbed a table to use as a makeshift shield, and stood next to his brother. He crouched in front of him, allowing Gurp to fire over the top of the table-shield he now held, and slowly started to walk out of the main door, and, hopefully with his brother in tow, close the distance between them and the approaching droids.

Now there were droids after the Wookiee? That was when Theo noted the insignia on the front of the droids and he knew that things were about to escalate beyond what he had been hoping for. Perhaps it was wishful thinking but he had hoped that they would be able to take prisoners ad deal with this entire thing as a police matter. It seemed that fate had other ideas and he was going to, once again, be forced to play more the role of soldier than police officer.

Flipping the switch on his rifle from stun to lethal firing mode, he knew that stunning a droid was going to be literally useless. The cantina had windows but it was in a bad area so the walls weren't entirely made of glass - the bottom of the walls was durasteel. Firing two shots at the droid that had 'spoken', Theo advanced as he fired until he was able to duck underneath the window he had been firing through.

The Gamorrean brothers were not exactly in their element but what they could do was be very noticable. With the brothers holding the center, Theo began walking along the length of the wall, keeping his head below the windows and out of sight as he started moving to the left side of the cantina. If he could get to the side door he might be able to get outside and find a way to flank the droids. He waved his hands in some ISC Ranger hand signals to tell both Livi and Darius that he was going to flank.

Wouldn't want them thinking he was ditching them.

While he wasn’t exactly keen on being down a Ranger while they searched the rest of the building, Darius wasn’t about to argue with Theo over the orders. He gave a curt nod of his head – briefly glancing over towards Livi and the Wookiee before focusing his attention back to the task he’d been assigned.

Of course, the Lokkian only made it a couple steps deeper into the premises before his attention was snapped towards the entrance of the cantina by the sound of footsteps and a single robotic voice.

Sapphire eyes narrowed into harsh slits as he spotted the row of droids that he approached, immediately doing a head-count to determined just how fucked they were. His eyes eventually fixated onto the insignia painted onto the droids, confirming what Darius already assumed and leaving no illusions about whom the droids served.

“Well, fuck.” Darius muttered.

Darius rapidly glanced towards Livi has she gave her simple command to the brothers, watching as the pair of Gamorrean meatheads sprung into action. Whatever power the woman had over the pigmen to get them on the right track, he didn’t really understand. Not that he was complaining, though.

The Lokkian suspiciously eyed the Wookiee the moment he was armed once again. A part of Darius was fully expecting to be shot in the back the moment he looked away, but with all hell starting to break loose, he didn’t really have the luxury of lingering on the issue.

With the majority of the fire – hopefully – drawn to the Gamorrean brothers, Darius pushed off from where he was standing. The Lokkian crouched low to the ground and approached one of the windows facing the cantina entrance, positioned on the opposite side of the door as Livi.

Darius gave Theo a silent nod of acknowledgement before quickly peaking up from his crouched position, immediately pressing his eye against the scope of his rifle. He leveled the barre onto one droid in particular, a single sniper’s bolt of blue plasma hissing through the air and towards his target as soon he pulled the trigger.

Darius immediately dropped down and took cover, patiently waiting out whatever return fire was lobbed his way before going for another shot.

Salbecca responded with a smile of his own. He was now armed again, with his Q2 Holdout Blaster in hand. It was...awkward in his massive paws, but he could just fit one hairy knuckle around the trigger to fire a shot at a B1 Battle Droid. The droid went down, along with a number of other droids, as the rangers returned fire. Evidently, they were ill-prepared for an armed response from the bar's patrons.

Salbecca grinned as the droids started to fall. However, he also thought of his predicament. Either he stayed here with the Rangers and Gammoreans, where he was potentially skinned for his furs, or he let the droids take him, where he was definitely skinned. He decided that a third option, where he didn't get skinned at all, was preferable. With the shootout between the two factions who wanted information from him, maybe they would just...kill each other? And then, he could get off-world, away from any prison time and farther away from Rock Maninoff.

He followed in Burk's footsteps, grabbing a table in his massive arms to use as a makeshift shield. Instead of advancing, though, he was slowly retreating - firing shots at the droids as he stepped back towards the back office room he entered from. With the rangers taking positions at the windows, and the Gammoreans charging through the front door, he imagined that the ensuing gunfight would draw their attention away.

As he got closer to the office door, he dropped the table altogether, and began to sprint through the office door, slamming it behind him. The crew would be able to hear both the slam of the door and, if a crew member did not rapidly intervene, the shattering of glass, as Salbecca dove through the office window and began his mad-dash away from the gunfire towards wherever would get him the hell away from here.

The bar’s guests threw themselves to the floor, flattening like pancakes, to avoid the gunfire between the Ranger posse and the Droid bandits. The droids unloaded to the approaching duo of Gammoreans, who were exiting from the front door. This left them quite vulnerable to the flanking fire of the Rangers from the window - B1 and B2 droids fell quickly. A trio of B2 battle droids took note of their downed brethren, beginning to aim the arc of their fire through the windows.

If the team knew the standard armaments of the B2 model, they would likely know that the blaster fire was a nice alternative to their built-in wrist rockets. With the civilians on the ground, caught in the crossfire, explosives in the building would certainly put their lives in jeopardy. It was only a matter of time before they fired their explosive shots.

Besides the three B2s, one of whom had ominously stopped firing, at this moment, there were six droids remaining. Burp and Fart would find themselves approaching the firing arc of 5 B1 droids and a single B2, as their makeshift shield began to fall. Luckily, they were rapidly approaching melee range, which the droids would be ill-equipped to respond to.

Things were about to get a bit tougher for the crew as the battle droids realized what was happening. Gurp and Burk were pushing out to take care of some, but they would need help. The slamming door of the office caught the younger Gamorrean's attention just as he was stepping outside behind his brother. A frown came to his pudgy face as he realized the Wookiee was fleeing. It wasn't as important as smashing these enemy droids though, at least he hoped that was right. Maybe someone else would try to stop the Wookiee if they cared more.

<<Burk, killya droi! Hopa je!>> He shouted, more encouragement than anything else. Burk was already on the smash path.

Gurp's rifle was not great for providing chaotic cover fire. It had power, not speed of shots. As he exited the doorway, he fired one more shot from it towards the B2 facing them. That was the biggest threat based on appearance. A heavy rifle shot would at least soften it up if not outright blast it to hell. After that, Gurp would swing it back around to store behind him as he drew the two pistols. He ducked down slightly as to be a bit less exposed, above the table, and raised the blasters up to peek over and point at the B1 Battle Droids remaining near them.

Deciding it would be a good idea to roar at the attacking droids, in order to intimidate them, Burk let out a loud bellowing noise, sending spittle flying everywhere as he and his brother approached. With enemies now within melee range, Burk spotted the largest of his foes, a B2 Battle Droid, and decided that they, naturally, must be the leader.

“Burk!” the Gamorrean declared, as he threw the table-shield at the B2 Battle Droid, distracting it momentarily as he charge, drawing his vibro-axe in a smooth gesture, before slicing it across the B2 Battle Droids torso. With the B1s unsure of what to do, they stayed firing at his brother, Gurp, leaving Burk to focus on the immediate threat. The B2 staggered back, and Burk capitalised on the opportunity, dashing forward again and shoulder charging the B2.

Annoyingly, this did not send the heavy droid crashing to the ground. Therefore Burk tried again, and still, nothing. Bored, he slammed his axe into the confused droid’s legs, bringing it clashing into the floor as he slammed the axe again into its blaster arm. “Burk!” he shouted, pleased with himself, as he slowly realised that the B1s were slowly turning to face him.
