"You're home early," Cara commented from the kitchen as Billie returned home. The Sephi nodded in agreement as she hung up her coat. "Is there a reason?"

"I've found a potential new client," Billie answered as she settled down at the counter. "I think Aliss will have a nice surprise when the Raven shoots her a message," she added with a smile.

~~~~~
"I almost fainted when I saw the contact name! How did this one happen?" Aliss didn't look away from her computer screen as she asked the question, still furiously clicking through the Sephi's schedule.
Billie chuckled. "She came up to me asking for help. One thing led to another, as it does, and I told her to contact you."
"Well, you've got an opening a few weeks from now in the evening. I'll schedule you then?" Aliss turned to meet Billie's gaze, and the Sephi gave her a nod when she did. It was Aliss' job to be good at her job, and she was, so Billie went with the suggestion.
"Alright, seven forty-five at the Place de Laine. I'll let her know."
~~~~~

Billie had been to this restaurant, the Place de Laine, exactly once, and it was many years ago back when the establishment first opened. It had a very modern design accented by floral arrangments and a flowery, pale palette. She was surprised to see how it had changed since then. The pale pinks and blues had been tossed in favor of rich reds and burgundies, and the white floor was now a dark wood. It was still very nice, but it appeared that Laine's tastes had grown with his age.

"Ro'vana," greeted the woman as she approached the table and placed a briefcase further onto the booth, closer to the wall. The spindly woman wore a purple ensemble, along with silk gloves of the same color. "It is wonderful to see you again. Shall we begin?"

With perfect timing, a waiter appeared to take their drink orders. Billie immediately ordered an expensive bottle of red for the table, and water for herself.

"Could you explain your style of dress for me?"

Ro'vana was very excited to talk to the Sephi again. To be honest, there was something about her that just made talking easy. Maybe it was the fact she didn't emote much, or maybe it was her reserved nature- Ro'vana didn't know and was probably not going to find out any time soon. "Well!" Ro'vana chirped, bringing up her folder to the table, "I'd like to have something along the lines of what I usually wear- Black." She shifted in her seat, now fully aware of her monotone ensemble compared to the woman's in front of her. "I know black isn't really the most exciting color," She said, pulling out the concepts she had sketched out on spare paper, "But I think that you could do something wonderful with it!"

The sketches weren't perfect by any means, but they got the point across. Lighter, more squiggly lines represented lace, while the darker strokes of the pen were the bulk of the dress. The first dress on the page resembled a simple gown with a neckpiece attached, flowing down with black lace and sequins to form a cape. The second followed the neckpiece theme, but instead of sequins, it was adorned with roses made of the black "fabric" Ro'vana imagined. The neck attached to the rest of it with thin strips of fabric down to a bodice resembling a corset. From there, lace was layered to form a skirt with slits along the sides of both legs.

After Ro'vana explained what she meant by the crude drawings, she looked up to the Sephi, giving her a look that screamed "I know they're bad. But, please, give them a chance."

"I can work just fine with black," Billie assured her, reaching out to pull the crude drawings toward and around to face her. While Ro'vana explained the designs, her silvery eyes traced along the sketched lines, imagining how they might look off the two-dimensional surface. The first dress was modest with a flat neckline and a straight silhouette down to the floor. The transparent fabric seemed to form a cape over the shoulders and rose up the neck to end in some sort of appliqué. Compared to her current dress and the one she'd worn at the afterparty weeks ago, it didn't strike Billie as her style.

The other sketch was a lot more interesting in concept. It was on the opposite side of the spectrum as the other dress and was very revealing. There was a lacey collar that connected to a pseudo-corset, and the corset continued to the hips where it gave way to a long, tulle or chiffon skirt. It didn't appear to have an underskirt, and instead, she could see the thing straps of panties underneath. Billie wouldn't shy away from sensual patterns, but that bit was a tad much.

"These are two very different concepts," she commented just before the waiter returned with the bottle. He poured a glass for each of them after a short spiel about the wine, then left it for them to refill their own drinks if need be. "What is it about each one of these that you like so well?" If she could figure out what the Twi'lek woman liked about each, she could hopefully work with that to draft a sketch for her.

Ro'vana was honestly terrible when it came to dressing herself, so Billie's reaction wasn't that much of a surprise to her. She had no experience in fashion besides what her past designers had told her what looks good. She knew she liked black, and lace. Hell, anything that could paint a raven-like image, or the feeling of a mystic night was up her alley.

"I'm gonna be honest," the Twi'lek said, propping her chin upon her hands, "I know nothing about dress making, or fashion... besides all black ensembles." Ro'vana tried not to sound too disappointed in herself, but her greatest weakness has always been (and always will be) her facial expressions. They gave her away as someone who deeply cared about what others think- no matter if she showed that in spoken word or not.

Shaking off her expression, she pointed at the second dress. "I like this one because it really expresses the night life that me and my Cabaret embody. It's a bit skimpy, yes, but I like the fact that it outlines my feminine traits." Her blue tented finger moved to the first dress, tapping on it with her nail. "This one has a cape that kind of reminds me of a raven's wings. The dress is simple, but a bit bland."

Ro'vana looked at the sketches in silent thought for a moment before commenting once more. "If we could find a perfect mixture of the two- not too skimpy, not too bland. Some lace here and there, maybe some dark sequins, or even a slight one-shoulder cape... that would truly express who The Raven is."

Billie nodded, ideas of a combination making their grand entrance in her head. In her experience, one of the best ways to "outline feminine traits" was to contour the garment to her client's body, emphasizing the waist or the legs, and if present, the bust. Mesh could be sewn in to accomplish that, and embellishments and embroidered patterns could easily define curves and draw the eyes across the body. In the dimly lit cabaret, perhaps a glossy fabric like silk or satin? "The lights would reflect their hue off her. It would be stunning!" The appliqués then, would need to be matte.

"Of course," she hummed in response before taking another sip of her drink. "Now, how about an appetizer or two?" The waiter returned right on cue and asked if they would like to enjoy one of their many appetizers before their meal. "The fig and olive tapenade please, and...?" Billie looked to Ro'vana so that she could order her choice. Once she did, the waiter would whisk away to put in the orders.

Billie reached down to the briefcase seated next to her and unclasped it. From inside she pulled out a piece of thick, expensive paper and a sharpened pencil. Without another word she began to sketch, working quickly to outline a feminine figure in which to superimpose her ideas onto.

"Can I, uh..." Ro'vana glanced at the waiter, completely out of her element. Sure, she mingled with fancy people at performances, but she didn't frequent their restaurants! "Do you guys have cheese curds?" She saw a description in the appetizer section with cheese included in it on the menu, but she couldn't remember the name. "Ah," the waiter said, giving Ro'vana a look of befuddlement with a mix of sympathy, "You mean the Gougère sampler? It includes ones baked with Gruyère, Comté, and even Emmentaler cheeses. Is that fine?"

"... Yes."
Ro'vana didn't know what any of those words meant. Obviously they were cheeses, but she didn't know if they were any good. "I should really just learn to keep my mouth shut." Ro'vana thought, watching the waiter speed off to what she can only assume is the kitchen. The Sephi woman in front of her was hard at work, sketching out a design for her dress. "I wish I could be of more assistance. I know I'm not really an artist or designer, but I feel kind of useless just sitting here." Ro'vana hated sitting and twiddling her thumbs, she always wanted something to do. It's gotten her in trouble a few times, but, thankfully, not too many.

She needed to clear the awkward air, and fast. Ro'vana glanced around, looking for anything to talk about or to even help out with. "So..." She said, adjusting in her booth a bit, "your secretary seemed to be really excited about our meeting!"

"Cheese curds?" Billie actually found the question quite amusing, and while she sketched a smile crept onto her small lips. It was an endearing little quirk of Ro'vana's—to be the epitome of charisma and confidence on stage, yet so normal everywhere else. Briefly, the Sephi even wondered if Ro'vana knew what those three mentioned kinds of cheese were.

But since it was really no matter and only passing speculation, Billie continued to sketch away, pushing graphite against the smooth paper as she quickly and lightly defined the shape of the dresses. She always started with two concepts to give her clients options. The first concept was tight to the upper body and had a waist defined by a pseudo-belt and extra fabric was added around the waist to dramatize the hips. The necklace was like that of a sweetheart, but more dramatic, and extended into off-shoulder, long sleeves. Billie imagined it to be a fake sheer material—sheer black mesh over a dark violet fabric—and she penciled in the detailed lace which grew up from the hem of the skirt and down from the neckline.

She then returned to her original thought process. The second dress had a similar silhouette but traded the fabric at the hips for a long, one-sided cape. A mixture between sheer, opaque, and lacy fabric defined the bust, hips, and legs, creating a line of motion that was just flirty enough to fit the cabaret theme. The lace, rather than the florals of the previous dress, was feather-like—an homage to Ro'vana's raven persona.

"The fig and olive tapenade. The Gougère sampler." The waiter returned with the appetizers, placing each of them side by side in the middle of the table, though making sure not to place them too close to Billie's work. The Sephi thanked him in a quiet voice then plucked one of the tapenades carefully, placed it into her mouth, then continued with her sketches.

"What do you think of these?" Once finished, the Sephi woman turned them around to face Ro'vana, then carefully listened for her opinion.

Something clicked inside of Ro'vana's head when she saw the second sketch. The cape, the dark lining... the feather patterns!! It really embodied her image. She could tell that it would outline her figure, too. "That second one, dear," She said, pointing a manicured finger at the sketch, "Is marvelous! I simply must have it on me right now!" Ro'vana chuckled at her fake posh-ness. It was part of her shtick, but that doesn't mean that she can't find herself to be cringe. Ro'vana looked down at the food brought out to them, seeing what she stumbled ordering. It looked like puffs? Of bread? Didn't really look like cheese, but she assumed that there were some inside.

And there was. "Interesting." Ro'vana mused, accidentally saying her thoughts out loud, "Oh, shit! I mean- shoot! I didn't mean to say that out loud!! This food is awesome! No, not that word..." Ro'vana mumbled to herself some fancier-sounding synonyms for "awesome", but couldn't find any. Her mask has been slowly slipping away since she got comfortable around Billie. Ro'vana couldn't let the Sephi see the real her- she'd think Ro'vana was a freak!

"Delectable, that's the word."

A smile graced her lips when Ro'vana declared her liking for the second one. Though she liked most designs, Billie had thought the second option was more suitable for the Twi'lek herself, but she always gave her clients two options. Her response was delightful as well; excitement was a wonderful indication that she was doing well.

Billie would wait for Ro'vana to overcome her flustered attempt to correct her own speech, then continue. She was not bothered by the violet woman's mishaps, or it did not at least appear that way. "Perhaps a satin material for the dress, and a matte one for the apliqués? It would look marvelous under the lighting you love so," she suggested, smiling on her emphasis of the word marvelous.

The waiter returned for their soup or salad order, and Billie ordered the latter.

Billie, with Ro'vana's answer to her suggestion, would nod and slowly return her papers and pencils to her briefcase. "At a later date, I will meet with you again to do sizing. Please send Aliss your measurements. And," Billie paused to return to a question Ro'vana had asked earlier that Billie had forgotten to answer. "yes, she quite likes your music. She is a fan."

Ro'vana sat in the restaurant, enamored with the drawings made by the Sephi in front of her. "You're really talented, you know?" The Twi'lek remarked, glancing up at Billie's pale face, "I appreciate your willingness to work with someone new. It really means a lot to me." To be honest, this was the best experience Ro'vana has had when it came to the business world. She was always fine socializing and connecting through music, but the business side of being a galactic celebrity always hurt her soul a bit.

"And, I'm glad I can provide some slight comforts for your secretary in times like these," Ro'vana said, thinking back to her communications with Aliss, "I'd be honored if you two stopped by the Raven's Nest for one of my performances. I'm always open to shutting the place down just for special events, too!"

”Thank you,” Billie would say in response to the complement, a smile gracing her lips as she spoke. ”I don’t discriminate against clients.” As long as those who commissioned her could pay, there were few people she specifically wouldn’t work with. She’d dressed politicians from across the galaxy, philanthropists, shady CEOs, the sons and daughters of suspected crime lords, and so much more. As long as her clients weren’t actively wanted by the law, or at least never informed her of such status, she was happy to work with anyone of any race, any affiliation, and any social standing. Not many could afford Bonheur, that being said.

Ro’vana’s comments about her secretary elicited a small chuckle from the Sephi woman. ”She’s a passionate, excitable woman. I think she would love to stop by.” Billie wouldn’t mind tagging along either. Though she was mostly indifferent on the offer, she was starting to like the colorful Twi’lek, and wouldn’t mind watching her perform once again.

Before more could be said, the waiter returned with a tray held over his head. He twirled it down to the table level and presented them with their salads. He then asked, ”Have any of our entrée items caught your eyes?” Billie glanced over at the menu she had yet to look at, then back to him.

”I’ll take the chef’s recommendation for today,” she answered, confident that whatever it was would be worth the surprise. The man nodded, then looked to Ro’vana for her order.

Ro'vana turned to the waiter, a polite smile etched across her painted lips. "Can I just get the Steak Au Poivre?" She responded, definitely mispronouncing some portion of the fancy meal. The waiter nodded, buzzing back to the kitchen to put in the orders. Billie sat elegantly in front of the Twi'lek, her long fingers intertwined to clasp in front of her. "Now," Ro'vana said, copying the woman in front of her by placing her hands folded onto the table, "back to business."

Ro'vana pulled out the folder beside her, taking out a sheet of paper. It was textured with gold print at the top that read "Raven & Co." Pushing it in front of herself, she turned the paper so that the Sephi could read the finely typed print. "This is a contract that would make us working together a commission-based partnership. Basically, it's the same as me coming to you, paying for a dress, and leaving with it. This contract just has some extra padding along with it." Ro'vana takes a manicured finger and points to the second to last paragraph on the sheet. "By signing this, it gives you some monetary rights to whatever performances I make with your commissioned clothes. You'd get a chunk of the performance fee and free advertising to the upper class that I frequently entertain." She trailed her finger down to the last paragraph containing a bulleted list.

"These are your rights as a business partner of mine. We both get insurance, blah, blah, blah. What's most important here," She taps on the last bullet point, "Is this part. By signing this contract, you and your business, workers, and close colleagues are all protected. If anything were to happen with me, or with you, immediate help would arrive." Ro'vana glanced up at Billie, giving her a knowing smile. "Just like what happened at the party- I sometimes attract trouble."

"I have connections in the right places, and those places really enjoy my performances."
She said, pushing the contract further towards Billie, leaning back in her booth. "And, of course, always want to see me happy and healthy. Same goes for my friends, too." From the side of her folder, Ro'vana takes out a purple fountain pen. "I never sign anything without this!"

Ah, yes, the contract. Billie had forgotten that Ro'vana intended to hire the woman under contract, rather than just commission her when needed. Silvery eyes looked down at the sheets of paper with an indiscernible expression. They followed her violet finger as she pointed out the various sections, and when the paper was slid further her way and turned to face her, she pulled it closer with her own silken hand.

Ro'vana may have already pulled out the fountain pen, but Billie did not glance upwards until she had finished reading through the document. This was actually a first for her, and she felt a bit out of her element without Aliss around to take care of the details for her. The Sephi would admit that the blonde human was much more attuned to this sort of thing.

"I would prefer to have Aliss look over the contract before I sign," she would finally say after reading the last few lines. Her head tilted upward to regard the Twi'lek woman, bouncing from the fountain pen, then back to her emerald eyes. "I don't usually work under contract."

With that simple phrase, the rest of Ro'vana's night was spent eating and chatting with Billie. Both decided it would be best to also have Aliss along to look at the contract, so yet another date was pushed out and set for the third meeting. Ro'vana really enjoyed the Sephi's company, she thought, and wished that the night could last much, much longer.

Unfortunately, time has its own set rhythm it marches to. It yet again turned to days and weeks for Ro'vana, her impatiently waiting for the next meeting.

"Why can't I keep my mind off of our meeting?" She thought, pacing through her loft above The Raven's Nest, "It wasn't a big deal when it happened, so why all the fuss now?" Ro'vana's mind flooded with the memories of their last meeting, how Billie looked stunning in her beautifully tailored (and slight form fitting) purple ensemble, how her silver eyes calmed Ro'vana's frantic emotions. Ro'vana slapped her cheeks lightly, ignoring the heat that they transferred to her manicured hands. "Billie and Aliss are coming to The Nest in two weeks, I need to show her that I'm a worthy business mate!" Ro'vana stopped in her pacing, looking into the mirror bolted to the heavily decorated wall before her. Her usually purple tone that sat upon her cheeks was shining a deep, galaxy blue. For the first time in a long time, Ro'vana was blushing. "I don't think it's a worthy business mate I'm worried about," Ro'vana said aloud, delicately settling down into a nearby chair, "It's a worthy partner."

~
Two weeks pass, and yet Ro'vana's feelings don't. Putting on her makeup for the night, Ro'vana walked herself through her strategy. "My plan is simple," She rationalized aloud with herself, "hold the meeting at The Raven's Nest so that Billie's secretary, Aliss, could have a good time as well as do good work. Maybe give the secretary a performance if the night goes well. Then, seal the deal and become super best girl friends..." She paused, catching herself in the mirror with a sickly-sweet look in her eye, "No, no, not GIRL-girlfriends, Ro'vana! get your head out of the gutte--"

The bustling downstairs of her workers drifts upstairs to her loft, signaling that it is about time to wrap up her personal theatrics. Ro'vana stares herself down in the mirror one last time before getting up to walk downstairs. "I better not embarrass myself tonight," She said, smoothing her dark dress down, "because I have a feeling that I will."

The rest of the dinner went well. The food was good, Ro'vana was interesting, and the general ambiance of the restaurant certainly didn't take away from anything. Billie remained just as poised as ever, friendly but somehow distant all the same. By the end of the night, they'd agreed to meet again in a few weeks' time to discuss the contract. In the meantime, Billie would work on the Twi'lek's dress.

"The sooner you send your measurements, the sooner I can start on the dress. It is possible I could have it ready for fitting by our next meeting."

-> A few days later ->

Billie received Ro'vana's measurements and began working on the dress shortly after. She started with collecting the fabrics she wanted to use for the garment, then set the expensive satins and apliqués aside while she adjusted her mannequin bust to match the Twi'lek measurements. It was a gift from her mother, the mannequin was, and the last and only show of interest she had ever shown in Billie's work. It was made of a slightly textured, synthetic material that almost mimicked skin and could be adjusted electronically to reshape and resize as needed. Though her mother was, for the most part, no longer in her life, her gift remained extremely useful.

As always, once Billie began her work, she became consumed by it until it was over. Cara brought her food and coffee, and the Sephi only stopped to sleep or bath minus one quick call from Aliss. Her bare fingers moved quickly, twitching ever-so-slightly as she manipulated a singular needle in and out of the fabric through the Force.

-> Two weeks later ->

Aliss, along with Billie herself, arrived at the The Raven's Nest ten minutes early to the specified time. Billie had with her a long, covered garment bag, and Aliss a datapad. They entered without a word and found their seats. Aliss began to chatter excitedly to Billie who looked ahead with an almost day-dreamy expression.

The Raven's Nest was as busier than usual. So much so, in fact, that the time Ro'vana scheduled for the meeting was usually a time when almost no one was around. In other words, it was packed. Ro'vana noticed, scaling down the metal spiral staircase. Ro'vana could see the tall Sephi woman and someone she could only assume was her secretary, Aliss. Both her and Billie shared a natural beauty that Ro'vana envied yet couldn't take her eyes off of. Aliss, who was chattering next to the silent Billie, lit up as soon as her eyes met Ro'vana's. Returning her excited glance, she gave the blonde a warm smile.

Ro'vana's dress for the night was a fan favorite in terms of simplicity. It allowed for easy movement and a free arm! She hadn't really been planning on performing right away, as she assumed the cabaret would be practically empty, but the full bar and tables say otherwise. She would have to perform before making business, it seems. Making her way to the stage, Ro'vana thought about what kind of song the crowd might want to hear. Billie has already heard a power ballad, so why not give her something a bit different? Something new for the audience, too. The perfect song came to mind, waving her hand to the barkeep to join up on the stage for some instrumental support. The best part about owning a cabaret is that a lot of your workers have musical talents, so Ro'vana got to feature them often. This certain song required someone at the piano, giving a more relaxed and jaunty tune.

"Thank you all for being here tonight," Ro'vana started, her barkeep warming up on the piano, "This will be a short performance tonight, my dears, only one song." She looked around the room, an air of disappointment in the customers other than Billie and Aliss (although, she might had seen Aliss sigh with them). "Don't worry, my dear audience," Ro'vana said, catching her barkeep's thumbs-up in her periphery, "This song will certainly be an instant classic."

The piano goes into motion, playing a bouncy and bluesy tone that fills the entire room. Her barkeep, tapping his foot along with the melody, flicks his fingers across the keys as if he keeps touching something smouldering, creating the character of the piece being performed. Ro'vana, leaning her weight on her arm, taps the piano along to the tune, making a show of turning back her hands to the microphone.

"She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky"
Bringing her hands up in the air, Ro'vana flicks her wrists, bringing the blue filterns down on the stage lights. Oo's and Aah's are heard throughout the cabaret, reflecting the wonders of those who interact with her music.
"She's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I'd hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain"
Ro'vana takes her sleeved arm, dramatically covering her eyes. Her Force extends once more, flipping up the blue filter and pushing down the red. Warm tones fill the eyes of all, making Ro'vana's dress look even darker in the red light.

"Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder and the rain," Ro'vana flips her palm upwards above her head, mimicking an umbrella. The filters flash blue and white, miming the storm described in song. "... to quietly pass me by." The lights finally land on the pure white a spotlight usually is, staying that way for a majority of the performance. Ro'vana dances along with the musical break, smiling at her enthralled audience. Her barkeep, who is continuing to be an excellent pianist, grooves along with her. After a good amount of time, Ro'vana chimes in with a repeat of the chorus, adding some runs here and there. Another musical break starts, this one more intense and passionate than the last. Ro'vana sensing the energy building up, hops in to harmonize.

"Where do we go?
Oh, where do we go now?
Oh, where do we go?
Oh, where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Oh, where do we go now?
Now, now, now, now, now, now, now
Sweet child

Sweet child of..."

Ro'vana takes a breath, feeling the entirety of the cabaret on the edge of their seats.

"... Mine!~" She finishes, holding out her voice for a bit and then finally cueing in the piano for the final chords. Closing her eyes, she accepts the applause holding her final pose- her arms extended out beside her. After she has felt the applauding gone on long enough, she lowers her arms, powerfully moving off of the stage. Snaking her way through the tables (and accepting compliments along the way) she gets to Billie and Aliss' table- front and center.

"So, dears, how was I?"

The piano began with a series of isolated, high-energy chords, the clarinet ran his line, and Ro'vana began to sing. When her hands danced as did the lights, and Billie could feel the familiar warmth of the Force in the air as the song played out. Her voice was raw, powerful, and commanded the attention of the room.

Billie watched and listened with the typical indiscernible expression on her features, but Aliss was shameless in the display of her emotions. The blonde woman was on the edge of her seat for the set, her blue eyes open wide and the corners of her lips turned upwards. And, when it was all over, she clapped the loudest of them all. Billie's long ears pressed firmly against her head when the applause started, but she tapped politely on her palm with a silk hand to show her delight.

"It was absolutely wonderful!" Aliss exclaimed. Billie would nod in agreement and add, "You are very talented. I would say you are probably one of the best live performers I have been lucky enough to listen to." Her expression remained unchanged until the end, where her pink lips curled up ever so slightly into a smile.

"...your voice! Your command of the room! It was magical and..."

While Aliss showered Ro'vana with praise, Billie waited patiently with the covered dress in her lap. Once the blond woman finished, she would direct the conversation towards business once again.

"When you're ready, we can do the dress fitting."

Ro'vana brought Aliss and Billie up the spiraling, metal staircase that connected to her loft upstairs. "Since my performance is over, I usually either mingle or head back up to my loft. So, it won't be odd for me to just disappear!" Hiking her dress up, she ascended the stairs to her cozy yet odd home. Upon entry, Billie and Aliss would see an unusual array of collectables ranging from taxidermied bugs, animal skulls, crystals, to even fan-made items such as performance advertisements/posters taken off of the HoloNet.

Ro'vana motioned for Billie and Aliss to make themselves comfortable in the loft space. She sat down in one of her plush chairs, motioning for the other two to sit in the chairs across from her. Coincidentally, there were three total. "I know I'm supposed to be trying on a dress right now," Ro'vana said, slumping into the chair she flopped down into, "But I always get so worn out from those performances. I'll be good to go in a couple of minutes." Ro'vana glanced from Billie to Aliss, taking them in. It was the first time that Ro'vana had someone up in her loft that she deemed as a "friend". It felt... good.

"You can look around if you want, dears." Ro'vana said, straightening her posture in her chair, "If you have any questions about any of my oddities, do ask!"

Ro'vana gave Aliss and her the option of looking around while she took a second to catch her breath, but Billie chose to sit down in a seat nearby. Aliss, on the other hand, began to make her way around the room to look at anything sitting out in the open.

"Have you always lived here on Coruscant?" Billie asked in the meantime. The Sephi woman kept her gloved hands folded in her lap and her legs crossed at the ankles. She was perhaps a tad bit curious, as though there were millions of Twi'lek on Coruscant, Ryloth was their native planet. The same question could be asked of herself as well. Sephi were not from Coruscant either. In fact, they were a rare sight.

"What kind of skull is this...?" Aliss murmured to herself across the room as she squinted at one of the skulls on Ro'vana's wall. She didn't seem super impressed with the decorations, so she mostly looked in silence.

Billie also glanced about the room, but as per usual, didn't make any expression to indicate her opinion on it one way or another.

"For as long as I can remember, Yes." Said Ro'vana, relaxing in the seat across from Billie, "My mom raised me in a setting akin to this one, living as a working woman to provide for her only daughter." Ro'vana glanced around her room, taking in all of the trinkets she's collected through the years. Her eyes briefly reflected a semblance of sadness from talking about her mother, but it went away as soon as it came.

"That skull, my dear," She said, tilting her head to look at Aliss, "Is the remains of a poor Rancor. Quite unfortunate creature indeed. Beside him you'll see an expansive collection of taxidermied bugs and other wondrous creatures. Please feel free to touch, manhandle, and/or investigate any of my items! I just ask that the kyber crystals stay in their case." Ro'vana gave Aliss a pleasant smile, returning her attention to Billie.

Ro'vana was very, very excited to try on her new dress. "I think it's been enough time to rest, No?" She said, hopping up jubilantly from her plush seat, "Let's get this show on the road, then."
