What does it mean to be a Jedi?
Though I have lived on Tython with the Jedi since I was an infant and have spent that time in studies as an initiate, I do not yet know how to answer that question. The life I have lived thus far has been rather sheltered and privileged, unlike many others my age I would wager.
Never have I known fear or doubt. Sure, I know we are at war and that the Sith are alive and well, but that has been a constant for my entire life and the war has not affected me. Though Jedi have died, I did not know them personally.
The Order's instructors have taught me well however. I know the history of the Order, and have begun to understand the Force even though that understanding has not yet been tested. All the basic skills of a Jedi are there, I can move objects and wield a lightsaber. At times I think that I can even sense the will of the Force, though I doubt myself when that happens.
With all my heart I hope to one day earn my keep as a Jedi, and to show those who chose me for this life that their instincts were not wrong. Even though I am a bit nervous about the next stage of my life, I know that it must come soon. My time as an initiate will soon be over, and a Jedi will choose me to be a Padawan, for there is very little left that I can learn on Tython.
The path I would like to follow is that of a Guardian. I don't have any desire to be a mediator or diplomat, that seems boring to me. My instructors have told me that Jedi do not seek adventure, but show me someone my age who believes that and I will listen. At 19 years of age I am ready to do a bit of exploring in the galaxy, not sit in a room and listen to negotiations.
What does it mean to be a Jedi? Ask me again in a few years and I will have an answer.

STRENGTH: Above average strength for a young Weequay, due to his life on Tython he has been physically active and has been able to stay in good physical condition.
DEXTERITY: Above average reflexes and agility for his species. Years of training has sharpened his mind and body so that they work together well.
CONSTITUTION: Again, above average for his species. The life of an initiate is not a lazy one, and has guaranteed him good conditioning and stamina where physical exertion is concerned.
INTELLIGENCE: He is of average intelligence, and while he has broad knowledge of many subjects he is a master of none. Nothing in particular has captured his interest so that he studied it in depth.
WISDOM: This is the one category where Adin shines. He has a good head on his shoulders and looks at life from a broader view rather than a narrow one. He trusts the Force to guide him, even if that means doing the opposite of what he is told to do.
CHARISMA: Not overly influential with others, sometimes he has good ideas and people listen...other times not. He is not too concerned about that though.

When action is needed however, he is not afraid to do so. Especially against those who would bring pain and suffering to others.
While he believes that the Jedi Order is a powerful force for good in the galaxy, he sometimes questions traditions and rules that would get in the way of action. In times like this he trusts in what the Force tells him rather than looking to how he is expected to act.
