Alone in the Dark (Pre DoTR)

[Six]

Seeing that his maneuver was successful Cesserus used the Force one more time, this time to throw the Jedi's lightsaber across the room all the way to the other side of the hangar. The only way Semira could get to it was to somehow leap over Cesserus and run to it which was too risky as the Sith was still armed and had not taken his eyes off her.
Cesserus started walking towards Semira, his lightsaber still ignited
"I've killed much older and more skilled Jedi than you.. and you're all alone here. I see no point in trying little girl" he said as he aproached her
But suddenly a blaster shot!
Cesserus growled in pain and grabed his right shoulder.
The diplomat Semira was tasked with protecting had found a blaster on one of the crates where his son was thrown. Fearing for the life of his son and inspired by thid young Jedi's actions and determination to protect them the man picked up the blaster and shot the Sith from behind. For a man that never shot a weapon in his life and at such distance it was a miracle that he even hit Cesserus at all, some would say it was the will of the Force..

Semira was extremely surprised at the blaster shot. She hadn't even thought of the outcome that the diplomat could somehow contribute to the battle. And he fact that he had hit the Sith... well that actually might not be a good thing. He would probably attack them now.
"Don't fire again!" Semira yelled to the diplomat. She knew that firing would only lead to disaster. But now the Sith was injured in two places, so at least that was good. The Padawan, seeing that the Sith was distracted for at least a second, got up and started to run towards her lightsaber. It was a dangerous move that would leave the diplomat open, but Semira couldn't do much without her weapon.

 

[Six]

The pain Cesserus felt was surely staggering but it filled the Sith's mind with rage. He had made a mistake, it was him who let the diplomat and the boy live, and it was his fault he got shot right before finishing the Jedi. All of this filled Mihael with numerous feelings and it was certainly a wound to his ego more than his body. The Sith scream in frustration and started to hit the ground with his lightsaber, out of anger and to get the blood pumping through his arm.
Cesserus turned to hid opponent but it seemed that Semira has already reached her weapon and the two men she was protecting, and she was far away on the other side of the room..

Semira only ran faster towards her weapon as the Sith started his rampage. He was angry at the diplomat, and Semira knew it. Around 15 meters away, she stopped. After concentrating for a moment, the lightsaber flew into her hand. After igniting it, the Padawan began to run back to her opponent.

 

[Six]

The pain fueled his and the rage only fueled Cesserus's connection to the Dark Side. He raised his lightsaber and went towards the running Semira, the two clashing in a saber lock. He clearly had one intent on his mind-to hurt her and the others in the room.
For someone so thin she held on pretty good in this lock, after all Cesserus wasn't really a huge man underneath his robes and mask.
It was at this time that he saw the opportunity of using the advantages of his weapon and one of the crossguards of his saber was dangerously close to Semira's left shoulder

Semira was a little bit surprised when the Sith met her blade. She had thought that he would attack the diplomat and his son, but she was wrong. The Padawan knew that she was in a lock with the Sith, and she saw that his crossguards on his saber were close to her shoulder. Trying to stop him from turning his saber, Semira applied all of her strength into pushing him back, although she had no idea how successful this attempt would be.

 

[Six]

Cesserus might have been fueled by the rage and the Dark Side but he was still wounded and the lock itself was painful.
He didn't want to risk being overpowered in this situation so he decided for a different aproach.
Cesserus allowed Semira to push him back with her strenght, breaking the lock and moved backward creating the distnce between the two again.
He was focused with the Force, he could clearly feel the Padawan's emotions and feed himself in the same time using the pain and the rage within him to fuel his connection to the Dark Side.
Cesserus reached with the force, grabbing Semira's right hand and violently janking it to side, wanting to throw her off balance and to rip the tendon in her arm.
