Some of these are based on existing forms of lightsaber combat and would be entirely useful when writing lightsaber duels. Others... not so much.

That's actually pretty fun to watch.

Also makes me wonder why nobody ever tried to cut their opponents hands during a saber lock, especially since most lightsabers have no kind of guard to stop that from happening.

Hyperspace is actually a variant lightsaber skill called Trakata, the actual canon Legends technique is called "Pass the Blade"
