She was an orphan now. Her mother was dead and her father was a traitor and murderer. She had a sister, who joined the Jedi, and a brother, who was an assassin for the Hutts. She had no one at her side anymore and that saddened Amelia. She did not take long to get over the sadness and contemplate revenge on everyone. That is how she had found out about the Bogan, The Dark Jedi.

She had decided that her life would be used for the best if she learned how to use her anger to get revenge on her father. That is how she ended up on Ando Prime at the Dark Jedi Temple.

She didn't know her new Master or what was to come. She was ready for whatever though and she could not wait to embrace the Dark Side.

Mortificar sat in the midst of the library as usual. He had some parchments out and was copying something, but seemed rather understimulated. He closed his scrolls and walked slowly down the hall to the acolytes training chambers looking out for a new prospective plaything.

Amelia wondered through the hallways wondering if she would find a master or if this was actually part of her first test. She was garbed in tight black slacks and a body hugging dark blue shirt. Her brown hair was up in a ponytail and it bobbed behind her as she walked.

Mortificar looked out and saw two prospects, one to the left and another in a ponytail. He called them both out silently invading their minds. "Come with me you two, into the shadows we go hmm?" And with that he left through the doors heading down a hallway, curious to see how they would react.

The one took off, after a frightened look about momentarily till her realized what happened. He was taller than the others, and looked to be a near human Zeltron. Mortificar chuckled watching him run, slightly weary and afraid he had done something wrong. Then waited to see what the other would do as he headed towards the doors leading outside the temple into the cold environment beyond the walls.

Amelia cocked her head to the side and narrowed her eyes. Voices in her head? Either she was going crazy or this was part of the Force. She decided that it had to be the second since she knew she was very sane. She looked into the shadows and straightened up before she started to walk forward. If she was crazy then who knew where she would end up.

"I will do as you say"

She said outloud as she walked forward.

"Good good, two new play things. And don't misunderstand that as sarcasm or jest. You're my new toys until I deem you worthy to be anything else. Let's begin, outside then." he says opening a door out into the courtyard, dead grass, scortched earth from various training, and rocks lined the way. The area was cold, it being night on this side of the planets surface.

He looked to the zeltron, then to the girl. "Tell me what it is you hope to accomplish here." he said. The zeltron spoke up first, saying one word 'power'. Mortificar shook his head then spoke; "Certainly a stock answer for any bogan disciple. Shame I had hoped you to be more interesting than that." he said, then picked up a rock and levitated it with the force. He crushed it down with the force into a fine layer of dust particles and shot them into the zeltrons eye, coating it with the embeded rock particles and blinding that eye almost instantaneously. The zeltron fell to the ground yelling in pain, curling into a fetal position in shock.

"Now, you girl, same question."

"My twin sister went to the Jedi. I hope to see her face one last time in my lifetime...when I am crushing her. I have much hate for my father and my sister. I wish to see them both dead. I cannot do that without the power of the Bogan"

She inclined her head to the ground as a jester of respect.

"That's far more interesting." he nods. "Alright, perhaps you'll last longer. Do you have a lightsaber yet?" He asks, the other acolyte was still squirming pitifully on the ground in pain. "Just to know where we should perhaps begin."

"No, Master, I do not. I was trained with swords, but not lightsabers"

Amelia felt ashamed that she did not have a lightsaber. She was excited to leave though.

"Well then, we'll start our first lesson with force training." he smiled. The man behind him was now crying. "Our first lesson on the force shall be the most important." He picked up a rock, and took the girls hand in his own cold pallid one. "Make this levitate with your mind, then whilest in the air, try to grind it into dust as our friend here saw me do mere moments ago. It's alright if the dust falls, unlike mine. I don't expect you to be able to focus quite that much." he chuckles mirthlessly.

She looked at her master and nodded silently. She focused on the rock and closed her eyes. She had never done this before, but she had been around plenty of force users growing up and she had seen this levitating done often. The problem was that they made it so easy, as her master had done just minutes before, and she knew that it was not so for her. She would do it though and gain a level of power over her do-good sister.

She focused on the rock and on the energy flowing around it. It was several minutes before her head started to hurt and she looked at her hand in frustration. Nothing. It hadn't moved a bit. She closed her eyes and tried again.

This time she focused more on the rock instead of the air around it. It moved. She smiled and brought it up further. She had done it.

Now was the hard part. She had to grind the rick into dust. She was unsure how to do this and that is what worried her. What if she failed? She saw what had happened to the boy and she did not want to get punished that way or any other way.

While the rock was still in the air she brought the energy around it down on it and watched as a chunk flew out of it and fell to the ground. She sighed and looked at half a rock then up at her master.

"Not a bad start, but you're going about it wrong. Though you did break it in half." he nods approvingly. "Focus on your anger, take your anger out of your body and put it around the rock itself. You're not necissarily trying to crush the rock, so much as you are trying to destroy it. Focus on the destruction itself, let it flow from you naturally. Just as you made it levitate, don't focus around the rock, but on the rock itself." he says watching her curiously. Now that he had explained the technique, there would of course be little room for failure.

Amelia nodded understandingly at her master then looked at the rock in her hand. She closed her eyes and thought about her father, the murderer who had killed her mother, and her sister, the traitor who only wished for peace and not revenge. Cowards! She opened her eyes and focused on the rock, not the space around it as she did before.

She thought of her father and sister as she sensed the Force flowing through her and towards the rock. It only took a few moments for it to burst into a thousand tiny pieces and fall the the ground.

Mortificar nods, a smile of grim contenance spreads over his face. "Now, tell me what you know of the apprentice writhing in pain behind me?" He says, giving a kick with the back of his heel into the gut of the apprentice, who makes a yelp of pain. "Who is still alive, which is good for our perposes here." He says after hearing the yelp. "No, I mean everything you know. I wish to see through your eyes as it were, how do you view him, if you've met him before, what did you think. Everything."

Amelia turned her head and looked down at the pathetic being laying on the floor. She cocked her head to the side then looked up at her master.

"I think he is the worse kind of person that can live. He is weak and knows nothing of how the Galaxy should be. He can't even take an attack and get up and learn from it. He lays there in pain like a pathetic nothing"

Her voice dripped with venom as every word came out.

"Good." he smiled, though he felt that she was simply telling him what he wanted to hear. Of course there was a simple way to test that. Granted, most masters saw every apprentice as valuealbe to some extent. Mortificar saw them as teaching tools however, and sadly, this particular tool was expendable.

"Kill him using the technique you did on the rock, amplify it to incompass his whole body, or focus on something like the throat or an artery, I don't really care, either way it will be most painful for him I'm sure."

The apprentice looked at Mortificar wide eyed with fear. "N...no. Please. No..." said the apprentice, sheilding himself as though he expected the attack to be physical. Mortificar laughed blatantly at this. How foolish the apprentice was.

"My pleasure, Master"

She bowed her head then turned to face the soon-to-be dead body. She looked him over once before she closed her eyes and found him in the Force. He was barely there, pathetic! No wonder he was not cut out to be a Bogan.

She found his throat and focused on it. she put her hand towards it and made a fist. Nothing. She grimaced and tried again. Focusing on all the parts of the throat and the things that made it up. She sent all her anger at it and the next thing she knew, his life force was gone.

She smiled grimly and looked at her master.

"Very good. Very good indeed. No Peace, only suffering." he said nodding appropriately. "Now tell me how it felt. How did you go about choking the life out of him. I would like to know so that I can improve upon your technique, should you need it." He said praising her. He walked over and kicked the body in a curious sort of manner. Then leaned down and took the lightsaber off the acolytes belt, waiting for the girl to reply.

"Well, like I did with rock, I found a weak point and exploited it. I looked at the lining and the cells of his throat through the Force and just ripped them apart. I believe that is the proper term. It felt amazing"

"Then this..." he says offering the dead acolytes training saber. "Is yours. It will be useful to learn with, though it won't kill anything it will make sure it won't kill you either." He said heading back through the way he came, toward the bogans libraries.

The Library was no where near as extensive as that of the jedi, but it was still better than nothing. "Here we have all the knowledge of our order. There are three types of dark masters. Can you name those specializations?"
