This is different. This movie gave birth to the entire franchise, well the book was published first, but face it, not many people read books.

There's a difference between your personal birthday and the anniversary of a movie.

My thoughts too. Customarily, people tend to celebrate movie and television program anniversaries on their 10th 20th/25th, or 50th.
