Apprehending a Hunter (Open)

Finally after a long, tiring, month and a half journey Anaru set foot on Zeltros. He secured his ship in the spaceport, and made sure that everything was set for safety reasons. As a young, spry, jedi padawan he had been sent here on a mission to aprehend the bounty hunter Geminiarus. Anaru was apprehensive about this mission, for neither he nor Olmurani knew what dangers came with it. But the council had asked him and Olmurani to go and they supplied him with a lightsaber for the mission and anything he had asked for.

But not only was Gemniarus a dangerous and clever bounty hunter, but also he held a ring of mafia style gang leaders in Zeltros who operated under his command and were answerable to his every whim. He was manipulating the monarchy under his reign and Anaru was sent there along with his friend Olmurani to end this contorting and twisting of the governmental powers before it got too dangerous. It was his first real task as a padawan and he was ambitious, and wanted to succeed. He would not fail at any costs.

He enjoyed his first mission though even if he couldn't take it lightheartedly. After all, if there was any place that was nice to arrive it, it was Zeltros because they it had a temperate climate, it was a nice resort spot, and the people were very friendly and amiable over there. But he knew behind the scenes that corruption was taking place and he wanted to stop it at all costs. Because that was part of a jedi's job and he wanted to ensure safety for the children of Zeltros, even if he had to sacrifice his own life. So that was why he decided to head out of the spacestation hangar and set foot on Zeltros's ground, even at risk of his own life. The only question that popped up in his mind was "What's next from here?"

This was one of the many missions Olmurani would go on. He was sent with annother padawan. It was Anaru, Olmurani's friend. Anaru and he had been briefed about the state of the monarchy on Zeltros. Olmurani had thought "Great. Politics...My favorite". Of course he was being sarcastic as he had never fully understood the subject though he was glad to be with Anaru who knew quite a bit more than Olmurani about it. The council had also given Olmurani a lightsaber and a few other things.

He steped out of the dark hangar and into the light. He had to squint his eyes a bit before he got adjusted to the brightness of the Zeltrosian sun. He stood next to Anaru and looked out at the landscape.

"I know what you're thinking. What now?"

"Well, I was thinking of checking out the local bar. Granted they can be rough places sometimes, but also they are a great place to require easy information just by listening to people. What do you say?"

Asked Anaru as he tried to think ahead and be up on the game.

Olmurani did'nt like the idea of going into a bar. He could'nt help but remember some of the shady characters he had seen in bars. But, he was a jedi and when he was required to be somewhere, he went there. Though it was a good idea. Much could be learned just by simply listening.

"Sounds like a good idea to me." Olmurani said. "Would you happen to know where the nearest bar is?" He tilted his head and smiled as he joked.

Olmurani did'nt like the idea of going into a bar. He could'nt help but remember some of the shady characters he had seen in bars. But, he was a jedi and when he was required to be somewhere, he went there. Though it was a good idea. Much could be learned just by simply listening.

One of the things Anaru liked about Olmurani was his ability to take very serious and tough situations and find the humor in them. Neither he nor Olmurani liked bars at all. They were smelly, dirty, and filled mostly with the types of characters that you just wouldn't want to hang out with at all. Anaru smiled and responded to his friends question

"I do know where it is. Do you see that cantina/bar way over there in the distance? It's name is the Luxiourious Bantana. You can only see it if you use the force, because it's pretty far off. That's why I'm going to hail a speeder to get us there." Said Anaru as he waved one down and told the taxi driver where they were going.

"20 credits please." Replied the taxi driver and Anaru handed it to him straightaway. "Ready for the ride?" Anaru asked as he got in and waited for his friend.

Olmurani saw the bar too and nodded to aknowlege it. Olmurani got in the speeder after Anaru.

"Ah' was born ready foo'." Olmurani said as he flashed a corellian gangster gesture jokingly. He shut the door on the speeder and leaned on the armrest as they set off to the bar.

 

[Flame]

Anaru laughed and after 20 minutes or so when the speeder was a few yards away from the bar, he told the taxi cab driver to just let him and out he thanked them.

After Olmurani and Anaru got out of the cab he turned to Olmurani and said "Okay let's find a public restroom where we can change clothes because obviously if we walk in with these nice robes then we're going to be suspected of being jedi or law enforcement from the moment we get there. I chose this spot because right over there" Anaru pointed at a dingy restroom that looked like it hadn't been used in a couple of years "Is where we're going to change. Sure it's a trash hole, but at least no one will suspect us of doing anything wrong there. They'll probablly thing we just have to use the bathroom teriblly. I'll race you there!!!"

Said Anaru with a broad smile as he sped ahead using the force.
