I'm gonna write some short stories about my characters exploits before the current story. Please feel free to comment.

PART 1 -

"As you gentlemen can no doubt tell, the Republic is growing increasingly curious as to the legitimacy of our company." Cari Bowark, senior chairman of Sentient Services Industries, paced around the meeting table, his gigantic, scarred, and aged visage pausing at each of the eleven other corporate heads seated around the table as they read through the datasheets in front of them. "It is only due to their perpetual disarray that we are not all behind bars at this very moment. I have estimated that if we do not completely shut down the operation and go our separate ways within the next month, none of us will get out of this unscathed." The slowly nodding heads of the staff members showed that they all agreed with this prediction, all except one man who sat twirling a cigarette between his fingers. "Excuse me, Bowark," boomed the voice of Yorson Strall, his lanky figure leaning forward as he addressed his peers, "but as I last recall, decisions such as this must be met with approval by the CEO, am I right?" Bowark glared in Strall's direction, of all the men on the board, it was he whom he despised the most. "That is correct." He said. Strall shrugged, "Well?" he asked, taking a puff from his cigarette, "Have you brought it up with him?" Bowark leaned forward with his hands spread out on the table, directly across from Strall, "Dagonet is the very reason we're in this mess." He had hardly finished his sentence when Strall spoke again, "Nevertheless!" He said, standing up. "Matters of this magnitude must be taken up with the CEO, or do you have some kind of magical authority that allows you to overrule that fact? Or perhaps you're simply ignoring it? Well?" "You hold your opinion, Strall!" Said Bowark, losing his patience, "And we hold ours." He said, indicating the other staff members. Strall looked around at the others before continuing, "Am I the only one here who is not willing to partake in this complete disregard for company law?"

He started walking around the table before stopping next to Bowark, "How about this, why don't we try bargaining with the Republic? We can offer things they could never get in their wildest dreams, and in return, we keep the company!" Bowark straightened himself out, his muscular body making Strall look even lankier in comparison, "Kiev Dagonet may have favored you, Strall! But know that I am not Kiev! And his son has had so little contact with the company after he turned it into a slaving business, I doubt he even knows your name!" Strall seemed unimpressed by Bowarks attempt at intimidation, "Well, you are correct on one of your points, Bowark, you really aren't Kiev." He stared into Bowarks glaring eyes. "How does it feel, hm? To blindly follow the ideals of a dead man, while his son leaves you in the-"
"THIS COMPANY WILL NEVER!" Bowark walked right up to Strall, his scarred face contorted in rage, "EVER! FOLLOW A MAN LIKE ARDRICULAR DAGONET!"

"Well now, that just makes me want to cry." Bowark spun around, his face as still as stone, the other members of the staff seemed equally as startled by the sudden appearance of their CEO at the door. Ardricular Dagonet stood in the doorway, his fixed smile in place as it always was, while his unseen eyes seemed to bore into the minds of the staff from behind his solar nullifiers. He gave a laugh at the stunned faces of the board members, "Now now, we haven't seen each other in forever! So what's with the cold welcome?" Bowark seemed at an absolute loss for words, but quickly regained his composure, "Sir, it's great to see you. We were just discussing the state of the busine-"
"There's no need for a recap, Cari, I've heard plenty."
Bowark looked surprised, "You- you have?" He began to perspire "Sir, I can explain-"
"No I believe I can explain, sir." Strall walked in front of Bowark, cutting him off. "The board was just discussing how best to betray you." He said, waving his hand across the room as if putting something on display. "Now Strall that's absurd!" Exclaimed one of the members, "We were simply-" but he was interrupted by the laughter of Dagonet. "I couldn't really care what your business is with my business. I've come to let you all know that business is canceled." As he said so, two droids entered the room, each carrying a rifle that it aimed at the staff as Dagonet raised his hand. All of their faces instantly turned to sheer terror, even Stralls usually arrogant expression faltered. Dagonet smiled and dropped his hand. Instantly the droids commenced firing, ripping the room and its occupants to shreds with a hail of gunfire. In less than ten seconds it was over, the droids lowered their rifles and stood at attention. Dagonet jumped up on the table and snickered as he looked around at what remained of the heads of staff. He was just about to leave when he heard a cough from the other side of the room. There was Strall, covered in blood and leaning against the table for support. He gave another cough and collapsed to the floor. Dagonet gave a quick laugh as he turned to one of the droids, "Throw him in a Kolto Tank, I have uses for him." With that he motioned for the other droid to follow him as he walked out of the room.

PART 2 -

"Gah!" Keese Umbra screamed out in pain as his shoulder was pierced by another bullet. He collapsed to his knees, his hands splayed out before him on the durasteel catwalk in one of Nar Shadaa's backstreets. He had held his own against twenty trained assailants in a showdown that lasted over half an hour, and had managed to eliminate them to just a handful before he finally succumbed to his injuries. Each breath caused him tremendous pain as he tried to hold himself up.
There was a silent laugh and he looked up. Before him stood the remaining four assailants, each with a weapon pointed directly at him, and in the middle...

"Damn you..."

Umbra's eyes regained their focus and the blurred form of the man took on a definite shape.

"Dagonet...!"

Ardricular Dagonet chuckled as he stared down at the man known as the King of the Void. "Umbra, don't tell me you didn't see this coming!"
Umbra's bloodshot eyes narrowed. "I did... nothing wrong, bastard! You have no right to attack another Captain!"

"I have every right. It's all fun and games until that monstrous ship of your pulls in one of MY freighters."

He knelt down in front of Umbra and his usual grin flashed across his face.

"The other Captain's uphold the Code of this alliance with pride, yet by your selfishness it seems to me that you believe you can get along fine without us."

Umbra coughed and blood splattered onto the durasteel. "I can... do as I please..."
He gave a sharp intake of breath before continuing. "It is YOU who cannot get along without me...! If you were to be rid of me... the balance would be thrown off, and you would never regain the territory you lost!"

"Everything's running smoothly as is, Umbra. I don't think the loss of ONE of the Captain's is going to make a lot of difference. But don't worry..."
He stood up and walked back to where the four armed men stood, "I'm sure the other Captain's will agree with me."

He raised his hand and the men steadied their weapons. Just then there was a sudden 'tinking' sound and a small metal canister landed on the durasteel between Umbra and his assailants. With a loud 'POP!' the canister exploded and a smokescreen enveloped the area all around them. When it cleared, Umbra was gone.

The armed men were baffled as they turned to Dagonet, he chuckled. "Looks like the King of the Void is more resourceful than I thought."

With that he turned and walked away.

Now it's painfully white. Like me. :CHappy

Did not help much. Change the font to like Times New Roman or something. There's a reason professors demand that font.

I think it's pretty much concluded that e-paragraphs are eye-rapists.
