Yvain watched as the Jedi charged towards the center with a sigh he shouted across the arena. "It's over." Unfortunately his voice was only heard by some of the fallen on the South side closest to him. The fighting continued however towards the center, seeing the Jedi was not heard those closest began to rise, the stun bolts having worn off by now and began calling towards the others.

It took around a minute for the last of the blaster bolts to stop firing, some of the fighters including Razton had there blood going and wanted to win no matter. Yvain jumped off the pillar landing near the sight of the Southern skirmish. "Ruzaan, Razton assemble your men then come to me with a report of how you saw the battle."

With that Yvain moved off to one side towards the Red's base and placed himself sat down on a rock ready to receive there reports.

It took some time for order to be restored to the battlefield, but eventually the firing ceased. There were a few minor injuries and one broken jaw, but the majority of the combatants were unscathed. Ruzaan debriefed and thanked his soldiers before limping over towards where Yvain sat. He'd stepped awkwardly towards the end of his final charge, but the pain that shot up his leg was the least of his worries. Master Yvain was hard to read, as always, but Ruzaan thought he detected disapproval in the Jedi Master's body language as he approached.

Yvain motioned for Ruzaan to give his report first. Taking a deep breath, the Togruta obliged. "I didn't put my troops in the best position to succeed" he said. "I overestimated the effectiveness of Breef's smoke grenades as a defensive measure, and Ratzon did well to push that position." The human smiled, looking pleased with himself. Ruzaan continued. "Where I felt most unsure was when I had to choose between helping my remaining defenders and going on the offensive. That led to some... unorthodox choices" he admitted, noting the beacon still attached to his utility belt. "Right now I'm disappointed with myself; I don't feel like I made enough of a difference in this exercise, and I'm not sure what I should've done differently."

His report finished, Ruzaan took a step backwards to allow Ratzon and Yvain to speak.

Yvain sat his legs crossed his hands upon his knees as he listened to the Padawan's recollection and review of the war game. "Positioning is key, you were the smaller force and even with the power of the Jedi you should have set yourself more defensively. You will often be outnumbered and outgunned by the Sith Empire, so use the terrain and superior knowledge of your troops to your advantage." Ruztan looked happy with himself but Yvain would soon destroy that but he needed to finish with the Padawan's choices first. "You showed good knowledge of the later, with both the smoke, sniper and movement of the droid." He continued with a warming smile. "You as a singular Jedi did well, you held an outnumbered flank and helped keep your target safe."

Moving his hands from his knees to crossed across his chest he looked at them both. "You were good soldiers but poor commanders. Fifty soldiers went out there today hardly ten returned. That is a cost to great for any one battle. Even if either of you would have won today, you would lose tomorrow and that is something we cannot afford to do. Razton you were reckless charging head first towards a defensive position." "But it was a training." "Training must always be treated like real combat. Would you be happy if each of those men beside you were shot with a real blaster?"

The man fish mouthed for a moment trying to get his feet under himself. "The lesson for both of you is paitence and understanding and best of all do not take a fight which will cost you."

Ruzaan nodded solemnly, accepting Master Yvain's assessment of the training exercise. He wanted to be proud of his individual accomplishments, but knew that they meant nothing in the face of the bigger mistakes that he'd made, mistakes that would've cost valuable lives had this been a real combat scenario. There would be much to meditate and reflect upon on the way back to Yavin IV. He bowed to Master Yvain, and then offered a friendly handshake and a smile to Ratzon.

After excusing himself from their presence, Ruzaan returned to where his soldiers were recovering from the training exercise. He made sure to recognize Breef and Helre for their leadership, and thanked the soldiers for their participation. Yvain had recruited a talented group of fighters.

Seeing that Master Yvain was now alone, Ruzaan returned to his fellow Jedi. "Thank you for organizing this, Master. I have learned a lot today; this experience will serve me well if I ever find myself on the battlefield against the Sith"

Ruzaan did not appear to disheartened by Yvain's comments which was good, the Padawan had a bright future, one that could be easily dented by self doubt. If he could learn from this and move forward Yvain had no doubt he would become an excellent Jedi Knight and a valuable asset in there war against the Sith.

"I hope you never have to young Ruzaan, but if it does remember this lesson well." He said with a warm smile. "Anyone for some fried toad?"
