[ASK] Meeting a second hopeful

It was almost as if she had read his mind when she asked such a question although she had shown to be a very hard worker and dedicated to her training so he saw no reason to deny her. Looking at her before leaning back and resting on his arms with his palms flat on the grass, he nodded as he spoke "I have not been a socialite for so long that I have forgotten what it was to have free time and how important it is. I have been thinking about it actually and I see fit to lighten your training by half, how those a day on day off basis sound? Today we will continue our training and you show me how well you can use force speed and tomorrow you can catch up with your friends and family. How those that sound, I want to hear your input" Raleigh spoke warmly to her as he pushed her lightly with his elbow but made sure not to do so too hard sines she was rather petite compared to him.

Naboo felt nice to him, it was calming but Raleigh could not shake the feeling that the jedi were too concentrated here....he did not feel comfortable being here. He had thoughts of moving to a secluded place were he could train his padawans in peace yet give them good challenges like Zinju V but he wandered if Khelsea was ready to let go of her attachments in Naboo. Only the force knew what would soon happen and what is to come......but he could not help but feel hints of what it whispered in his mind.

"Just a day off once in a while is fine! Like I said, I'll probably just fill in my free time with other classes if I can find some that I feel would be useful. If you're busy, I'm sure I can fill some of the free time by learning with other Jedi."

Surprised by the events that just took place, Khelsea decided to ask if training was called off for the day, or if they lessons would still be taking place.

"So, do you have any lesson plans for today? Or is this considered a day off?"

Raleigh gave her and impish smile as she spoke, thinking that training could be fun at times "That depends, is racing to the nearby lake fun? I want to see how good you are in controlling the flow of the force inside your body and letting it stimulate your muscles to superhuman speed. Knowing you, I bet this one will be second nature" Raleigh gave her a wink before pulling off his upper robe and jumping to his feet to start stretching for the race.

Thinking a nice dip would be fun after a good race, Raleigh thought her training might need a little spice to it "besides, physical augmentation is the most basic of the 3 forms of the force: control, sense and alter"

This was fun. Khelsea loved competition, and racing definitely would satisfy the desire to compete. Besides, swimming in a lake's clear waters was something she would do with a couple of friends in her free time.

She could tell she probably wouldn't be able to outrun a physically fit male with a large height advantage on her, she accepted his challenge anyways and posed her own. "Oh, a race? Sure I'll race you, but you owe me a nice meal at a restaurant of my choice if you can't out swim me at the lake. And no Force Swimming too, if there's such a thing!" She new that they were going to use Force Speed, and that would give him even more of an advantage as her skills in the Force were still very rudimentary.

Khelsea grinned at Raleigh after speaking. Without waiting for a response, she took off at a sprint, trying to get the better of her master. Using the Force to enhance her speed, she moved quickly across the grassy ground. If there were an audience looking in her direction from a distance away, it looked as if she were gliding quickly across a sheet of ice.

Perhaps this was how Khelsea's training would explode in progress with out so much butter training, despite her tremendous excels, a competitive environment might help her grow faster. How ever, competition caused pride and pride was something that easily corrupted so competition needed to be done with a watchful eye and plenty of meditation for Khelsea's sake. Perhaps having a fellow padawan would do her a lot more good then practicing and learning by herself as Raleigh thought of applying for another padawan under his wing.

Laughing at because of her impish words as he saw her run off and gain ground, Raleigh saw her go amazement as her ease in force speed proved a great deal of skill in the ability. As he thought, physical argumentation would be something Khelsea would excel at the most as proved by her power in force speed despite her lack of experience. joining his palms together, Raleigh yelled out before beginning to run after her himself "Ill take you up on that offer, you better have plenty of creds!" Raleigh joked before rushing off himself, augmenting his physical strength to move faster then he could as the force flowed through him, seeming like arteries of pure energy to those who saw his display in the force.

With the force vortex around every muscle in his body just as it did with Khelsea, his muscles flexed and bulked with every move as despite his size, it took him a little more energy to push his heavy frame forward. He was slowly gaining up on her but she did get quite the head start, it sure seemed like he was the one to pay the special dinner she wanted. Why did he not think of this before?
