Why Russia, out of curiosity?

They've already made a comic book. I'm just hoping for a female character in Assasin's Creed 4. Maybe in some place like Africa or America during the 1960s-1980s or something like that.

That wouldn't work.

Aren;t they meant to follow past 'genetic incarnations' of that guy?

We all know a ninja is in order here.

Ninjas aren't the same as the assassins -- they aren't seen at all and almost all the real ones are Asian (Desmond, however, is of a Middle-Eastern/European/Siberian Descent, which makes a character either in the New World or a little farther south into Africa highly more convenient than a ninja). And the present in AC is post 2012, from what I understand. Desmond is plenty young enough to have a relative to go back to in the 60s.

I meant the female thing wouldn't work. The 60's could be his faaaaatha/grandfather or somthing.

And I know full well about ninjas, my good man. I would have liked to see it, because it adds a more stealthy aspect in.

I should point out that Christian missionaries have been visiting Japan since the 16th century (namely, during the Sengoku period) and the Meiji Restoration period shouldn't be overlooked as a possibility of intermingling, since the Emperor welcomed Western powers to modernize Japan at that time.

Just saying: I don't support the possibility of the next Assassin's Creed being in Japan.

It's realistic, you finger flipping penguin stomper. Did Desmond just have no relatives who were assassins after the 19th century up until he became one? Based on past discoveries, I have doubts off such a fact.

Well if you think about it, what is the origin of the surname Miles? It sounds English to me.

Desmond means "A man from south Munster", from what I read in one of my Game Informer magazines. So yes, I could imagine him having relatives in England as well. No one still has presented me a reason why there can't be a female lead. There's no real reason, imo, for there to be the impossibility of so. I want logic, not opinionizations.

Lets not suggest the next one be a member of the IRA, please.

Irish assassins wouldn't work.

They'd bee too drunk to keep the pig under their arm quiet.

I've never been quoted so repeatedly.
