ATTN: Enemy of my Enemy, and Strange Bedfellows

Okay ladies and gentlemen, we've got some movement happening at the moment, which is great. In conjunction with all that excitement, we need some volunteers for a couple of missions of a more diplomatic nature.

With the Imperium once again beginning a campaign of terror, now is as good a time as any for the fledgling Rebellion to seek out allies where-ever it can find them. The Hutt Cartel, recently victims of an Imperial assault could make for unusual partners, and suppliers for the Rebels, if mutually profitable terms could be reached. On the other hand, there are the Mandalorians, former allies of the Imperium, and now considered public enemy number one. Whilst the Mandalorians were partially responsible for the fall of the Galactic Alliance, the Rebels know that sometimes the enemy of my enemy can make the greatest of allies. With that in mind, meetings have been arranged between members of the Rebellion, and Clan Ordo, to try and find common ground

Whilst I'll be accompanying the volunteers on both missions, I'm hoping that you will take the lead in negotiations. I'm mostly going to be there to provide advice.

I'll be taking 1 - 2 people per meeting, based on sign-ups. I'd obviously prefer different groups each time, but circumstances will dictate who goes.

Reasons: He's had 'diplomatic' RP experience in the form of bringing a former Senator into the Rebel alliance and will be in a thread bringing Larik Novan into the Rebel Alliance. He has a pirate/smuggler/trader background and as such is very good at relating with others and closing deals. He's made a long term trade deal with the Sullustan's for the Rebels and this would be another good proving ground to show just how good his negotiation and diplomatic skills are. He'll be a great asset and one you'll want on the team facing Mandalorians.

Reasons: A former senator as well as an intelligence officer, Niles has had experience with the Mandalorians in the past (Most notable IC, battling against Echoylir Bralor in the Battle of Coruscant). He's a soldier and he understands the Mandalorians and has earned their respect.

Reasons: Donkur was formerly of the GA, somewhat understands the plight of the Mandalorians due to his own past, and well... due to said past he would kind find it hard to keep his temper in check if he had to deal with the Hutts of all people. Beyond thag, he was also part of the team that did the whole negotiating a deal with a Sullustan to get supplies, and otherwise is the kind of fellow who tries to keep the longterm in mind when trying to make arrangements. Plus, he has a ship.

Mission: Enemy of My Enemy
Reason: Cam is from Correllia, and spent years defending it as part of the resistance against the Imperium. He knows what it's like to have his planet and people decimated by the Imperium, which automatically gives him something in common with the Mandos. He isn't a diplomat by any means, but I'm not sure that that's who you would like to send to convince the Mandos to ally with the Alliance anyway. He wasn't a soldier before the invasion, he was forced into combat and has been hardened by it, something the Mandos might respect.
