Ja'inn nodded to the master. He felt relieved that he hadn't failed the Sword Master as he once thought he did. He grabbed his hilt with a much firmer grip, now knowing what the next attack was going to be. He held his blade in a reverse-hold, the blade running parallel with his arm. Almost synchronising the pulsing of the plasma within the blade, and the veins in the arm of the young Jedi. He braced himself, and pivoted his wrist to deflect the first line of the 'z', before spinning around, deflecting the last line, and also dodging a couple of blaster bolts. He then force jumped, lifting his entire body off the ground, sweeping the ground beneath him with the blade, deflecting the last line back at the master. He didn't land the jump, as his body was parallel with the floor beneath him, he simply flopped, followed by an unearthly grunt. He got to his feet, dusting off his robes, panting, and sweating slightly.
The three bolts the padawan swept back at Huang went wide, one striking Nono square between the eyes.
''Knight Nono, leave us please. You will only get in the way.''
Huang turned back to the Padawan, holstering the pistol.
''You will become more adept at this aspect of the form after some combat training. Take the opening position. Thus.''
Huang stood tall, left foot forward, knees slightly bent, with the blade pointing up and slightly back, his arms again bent.
Ja'inn imitated the Sword Master, bending his knees slightly, holding his light saber in the according position as the Master showed him. He ran his hands through his hair, shaking his hand of the trickling sweat afterwards. His blade was behind his head slightly.
The young Jedi's bottom lip quivered as he watched the sword master circle him in such a predatory way. Once the Sword Master had regained his position, Ja'inn noticed the Juyo stance, himself still in the Shien stance. He listened to the Sword Master'sovements and watched as the master came with an overhead attack, watching the blade turn into a glimmering semi-circle. Ja'inn parried the attack, deflecting the power of the swing into his own movements, doing a spinning leaping attack, allowing the sabre to flow with his movements. He created a lightsaber swing, aimed to slice straight through the sword master's hip line, knowing that the sword master would block this attack, he began to divert the swing, allowing him to press forwards an edge the master, using his left shoulder as a ram.
As soon as the padawan's feet left the ground, Huang used the force to push him back, the lack of a solid base meaning the padawan was knocked back.
''Shien does not lend well to aerial attacks. When you first press an attack, stay on the ground. Establish a strong base, so you're enemy cannot gain their footing. By all means, use your leaps to cover distance, but, in close combat, it is all but useless.''
Huang turned back to face the boy.
''Opening stance. Parry, and counter.''
Huang charged again, this time, a diagonal swing from over his right shoulder arced towards the padawan's left collarbone.
Ja'inn moved into the opening stance once more. He decided to stick to the ground like his master rightfully said. He slides to the right of the arcing lightsaber strike, cunningly pushing his lightsaber upwards and pressing it into the original strike, sparks flew as he did so, a quiet but devilish golden mixture as the two blades collided together. Ja'inn took advantage from there, he used the collision as a momentum breaker, sliding his saver out and performing a Force speed accelerated 180 degree spin to move behind the sword master, facing directly to the back of the prepared Jedi Sword Master. He force pulled on the legs of the older man, and if there was no resistance from the elder one, he would face plant to the solid floor, followed by an X shaped strike across the back from the padawan. If there was, Ja'inn would go for a diagonal strike going from the right of his hip to the left collabone.
Huang's right arm shout out behind him, a blade erupting forth, to block the rear assault of the padawan. It was a very good attack, if expected. He then span, moving so that his right arm was out in front of him, and his left hand blocked the diagonal swing. He spoke while they remained in combat.
''Keep up the pressure. IN Shien, you use overwhelming force to batter a foe into the ground. Keep coming at me.''
Ja'inn nodded to the wise one's words, and continued his strike of such defiance. He gather the Force to his non-armed hand, striking the Jedi at his head, whilst covering the charging blast with his right shoulder. The clever use of this technique allowed Ja'inn to use the speed technique to almost "glide" around the man, and blast him with a charged blast of the almighty Force, as he pushed, he threw his lightsaber at the (hopefully) unexpected Jedi warrior. He force pulled the hilt back onto the grasp, rushing onwards to continue another set of Z and - shaped attacks across the torso of the man, keeping the pressure and intensitivity high.
Huang's face remained impassive as he deflected the blows. Using tutaminis techniques, the force power was absorbed, and he turned to face the padawan, always on the defensive, until, with one large, sweeping gesture, he broke combat.
''You have grasped the core of the teachings. The rest is something you must undertake alone. I shall return you to knight Nono.''
Huang bowed at the waist, before leaving, pointing Nono back into the room.
''I have taught him what he needs. I shall not do this for you again. You must teach your students if you wish for masterhood.''
Link Nono understood and simply bowed his head back in respect, before turning towards, his Padawan waiting for him to finish what he had to ask for his Master, before he spoke after there conversion was over of course."Now for the code of our order shall we?" he asked slowly.
"The Jedi code.. I do remember that in my studies, however I think you should still enlighten me, Master Nono."
The Jedi code was one of the Initate trials, however Ja'inn could not remember it clearly, surely the Jedi Knight that stood before him should know. It was a mystical set by Jedi years ago. Ja'inn understood it, when he could remember it of course.
He looked at him and sighed, the code oh great none the less he begun to speak."Go to the archives, read from them the code come back here and explain the meaning in your own words, if correction is needed so be it."He said slowly.
After some time at the library, Ja'inn was back, and as he walked in, he began reciting the Jedi code in front of the master. Ja'inn could interpret this code well, thanks to his recent research that occurred only half an hour before his entrance in the training chambers.
Link looked at him and spoke calmly.” Now define the words in your own meaning what does the code, mean to you in your own way, I will try to correct you, if you may at the best of my avidly.” He said slowly.
"If you do not submit to your emotions, you'll be at peace..
..if you ignore things, you will not be able to learn things..
..and if you are passionate about the Force, you can tempted to fall, so that's where serenity comes in..
..you should take emotional catastrophes in your stride, this leads to no chaos, and brings harmony to you..
..death is a normal part of life, you shouldn't avoid it, you should embrace it once you know it is your time, only then will you be one with the Force."
