A light scoff escaped her throat at his response. "I am not of the authority to teach anyone the Ways of the Jedi, child. You will have to seek another." Her tone was hard and she would be unyielding in this. "Even so, your path to reaching this goal will differ greatly from my own. Do not yearn to follow another, but rather create your own path. Even so, no matter how hard you might try to follow another, you can not always step in another's footsteps flawlessly." She looked at him with an expectant eye, as though he should have known this. She was always known to be critical of others and expect a great deal from them. This might be considered arrogant or presumptuous on her part. However, she believed that it pushed those with promise to greater heights and weeded them out from those that were merely average and would be of only moderate importance.

"As you have pointed out, my views do not align well with what is common practice with in the Order. It is for this reason I recuse myself from teaching others. I would merely confuse and mislead them. Few are capable of such independent thought." This was almost a jab at the young Jedi. Yet, within the being's mind, it was merely an observation she had made over countless years of existence.

The rather beautiful woman rose then, as though she were lifted up on cables rather than pushing off the ground. A small bow was given and, without another word, she set off into the forest. Not at any quickened pace; a slow walk if anything. Into the underbrush she would enter, unaffected by the branches which almost seemed to bend out of her way. She took her leave without so much as a farewell. If the boy decided to follow into the dense brush, upon exiting from the other side, he would find that she virtually disappeared. In a way, she melted into the forest itself.

The Guardian of Tython had plans to ready for, and these plans did not involve conversing with babes that would have no use to her. She had performed her duty for the day. However, now it was time to accomplish more personal tasks, as it were.
