DESCRIPTION​

The AZ-2 is an infantry portable rocket launcher meant to replace the outdated E-60 and RPS-6.

The AZ-2 is a single-shot muzzle loaded launcher fired from the shoulder. The AZ-2 improves upon its predecessors by being the same weight as the E-60, while also providing more range and accuracy to both launchers. It does this with an improved targeting system on a computerized scope which may be synced up to the user's HUD. The weapon has the same 3 modes as the RPS-6 such as the repulsorlift-seeking "smart" mode, linear trajectory "dumb" mode, and a "timer" mode which detonates the warhead after a specific elapsed flight time, useful for indirect fire. A fourth new mode is integrated as well, being the "marked" mode. The launcher is capable of locking onto a pre-setup transmitter, allowing the missile to be guided to a target that may not be utilizing repuslorlift technology. The caveat is that the transmitter must be placed onto the target after being synced with the launcher.

The AZ-2 comes with an improved grip making it easier to handle and carry its 4kg of weight around. With a grip handle at the very top made to carry it like luggage while traversing long distances. It's use of duraplast and optimized manufacturing makes it lighter than the E-60, although it does weigh more than the RPS-6.

In PVP usage may only be used against vehicles and fortifications. The user driving or within the targeted area should be given the opportunity to bail or escape.
