I feel that while though they may be close proximity, the small delay between shots (since they are precisely aimed) would let her block 3/4. The leg shot is isolated, the the minute movement of moving her saber up and the added length would let her block the umbilicus bolt and shoulder bolt with the same angle. So she only has to do two things, move her saber down slightly and then back up to catch a twofer.

Using the force in the way she did wouldn’t take that much concentration imo. It was a blast, nothing super aimed or precise and it would take a fraction of a second to rip it.

@Fyston, just wanna clarify on the timing of my interrupt. In your post when you said that your attack would hit Cami at the same time as MadMan's attack would hit Ral, that was with respect to MadMan's original post. In that he moves to avoid 4 bolts, attacks with the Force to do the snow thing, uses the Force to slam into Ral's balls and then continue pushing to try and throw Ral off of the roof. Your attack was coinciding with these sequence of events.

But after his edit MadMan was basically taking the hits and shooting right back, which I deflect at you. So there's easily a few seconds worth of time cut away from the time where your bolts were originally being fired at Cami and where MadMan'd attack now hits me, so I think my deflected shot should work as a good interrupt to stop you from firing off at Cami.

@Wit, I don't disagree with you and, while I originally wanted to edit my post, felt to do so would have been metagaming. I've already got a plan for said deflected blaster bolt but, at the very least, we're probably nearing the end of the thread.

That said, I've put in a report so that we don't keep going around in circles and so that we can finish this thing and get some PvP credits!

So I gave this a read-through, and if I'm understanding the report correctly, the question that needs answering is whether Cami (@Relent) would be able to block 2 or 3 bolts? As it stands, the proposed defense is reasonable, and the defense stands with blocking three bolts and being struck by the fourth.

As it stands, the umbilicus shot would be a bit awkward to defend against as @Fyston pointed out, but that awkwardness is what makes it so that the chest shot is unable to be defended against. The shoulder shot, though, could be blocked without really having to move the blade at all after deflecting the umbilicus shot. Basically, a single swing arc can defend three out of four of these shots without having to redirect at all, which is why it would be possible to defend three but not the fourth.

As for the issue of concentration with Force pushes... they really require very little. As far as Force powers go, they're pretty much the most simple ability, and don't require maintained concentration. If this were an ability like choking someone or resisting a choke this would be a different story, but even a push strong enough to knock someone over is pretty simple.
