Note: This is just my battle plan. I would like anyone with ideas or plans of their own to post them. I'am not one of those Sith-style commanders who doesn't accept a good idea just because it wasn't my own.
First, we must consider the Republic attack force Bac has brought, which is half of a fleet of 25 capital ships, 1 flagship, 15 support vessels, 1 fighter squadron (15 fighters), and 1 bomber squadron (15 bombers). The main weakness of this force is the insufficient number of starfighters, which we will use to our advantage. Also, as I don't know what type or how many forces are stationed on Dantooine, I'am not including them have. However, once the Dark Lord returns and gives us that information, this plan is likely to change to make use of them as well. Now lets begin...
Stage One: A Sith force of two battleships, four frigates, and six corvettes will hyper into the system behind the Republic attack force. Pinning it between the Sith force and the planet so it will be unable to escape. The battleships will carry four squadrons each, the frigates will carry two squadrons each, and the corevettes will not carry any fighters. This gives us a total of 16 squadrons (8 fighter squadrons, 8 bomber squadrons) This should wipe out the Republic's weak fighter cover quickly leaving the capital ships open to attack by the bombers and fighters. The Republic, which out numbers us 2-to-1 so far will attempt to fight instead of run. Which we will also turn to our advantage. After a certain amount of ships have between destroyed. I (or however is leading this fleet) will signal the second stage to begin.
Stage Two: A second force of three cruisers and twelve frigates, which has been waiting on the outer edge of the system will jump in. Using the gravity of the planet to be dragged out behind the Republic force, thus pinning them between the two forces. Where they will be utterly crushed, unless they commit more forces to the battle. As the Supreme Chancellor himself is present, along with a high ranking general. Since Bac has brought half a fleet I think it would be a safe bet to assume he can bring another 25 capital ships to reinforce him. If that is the case I would would advise a full withdrawal as Dantooine is of little importance and we have already made the Republic pay for more then it's worth.
Wow. Did I realy write all that? Well throughts, ideas, other plans would be nice to hear.
