Personality: Betty is a pistol, you never know when she's going to go off and when she does you better be in the next sector. Although her temper is quick to flare she can reign it in when she's on the job. She does have a soft side but it takes a hell of a lot for her to let someone in. She trusts nobody, not even herself.

History: Born into the Republic, her parents were career military. She grew up flying from system to system as her parents aquired new posts. In her travels she began to notice that not all memebrs of the military, member orginisations or even planetary governments were true and loyal to the Republic and that some even endorsed practices outlawed by the Senate. It was when she was studying law that she decided to apply for a possition within the judicial branch of the senate as an Investigator.

If she's highly adept at all things relating to computers, droids, mathematics, quantum theory and quantum mechanics and can calculate hyperspace routes in her head and can use near any computer interface without having to think about it (I assume you mean it comes naturally to her, like you don't have to think about raising your fork to eat), her smarts should be waaaaaay higher than "above average". In fact, it sounds like she boarders genius-level intellect.
