Big Open Thread

I was just looking through the threads on the first page and I noticed none of them are open aside from two which still specify that characters be of a certain faction.

Anyone want to do an open thread that could stay active over the next two weeks? In the past, things like bank robberies or rescues have been done to get people involved. Any ideas? Either along those lines or perhaps something unique that still would work to get a lot of people involved and have a fast pace.

I've actually been hoping that something like this would come along, so I'm game for it.

As far as plot is concerned I've got a couple of old ideas and some new ones that I can throw out in hope that something sticks: maybe a spaceport takeover by some rogue faction leaves the PCs as hostages, someone gets a bounty put on them by mistake, a mad bomber goes to town on a town, a shipment of wild and dangerous animals gets loose, a swoop gang is getting uppity and needs to be smacked down, people are being brainwashed into committing crimes. Anything sound workable?

Well I have a Pirate faction that's not really doing much at the moment :)

I've got a Jedi that I haven't used much. I suppose it could probably fit into a few of those scenarios.

I don't like overly stringent posting orders, but with a group this massive we don't want anyone getting left behind either. Let's try to let everyone get a go before we press on to the next round, beyond that, I'm cool with helter-skelter orders.

If someone starts lagging, we'll deal with it then.
