I have taken up blogging recently and I wondered if any one else did and what their blog was about. Mine is called In the Life of Geek Girl.. My thoughts, sarcasm, and just random stuff.. What about y'all? I know Brandon has his book and Adena her manga/anime, but any fellow bloggers?

I mean this in the nicest way possible but who follows your blog?

lol Which one? A few people on one and none so far on the other. I am experimenting with sites to see which gets the most feedback.

I have an Alternative Saga production blog. I don't think anyone reads it so I pretty much just end up posting things to make me feel better about myself.

Until I have something worth blogging about, no, I won't blog.

I have to twitter as part of class, but other than that I don't blog. Maybe if I had something to blog about, but... Nope.

Blogging is a waste of time. Electronic journals are fine, but I really never saw the point to blogging. You just have people comment on things that don't really affect them. Besides, I really don't see the need to follow another person's life events.

This is the essence of blogging, facebook, myspace, twitter, etc. No offence to people who use this stuff, but srsly.

QFT. I see no point to social networks.

Well, it keeps me up to date with friends who I might not talk to as frequently. Also, it can be used to organize events or support, can technically be used as a professional networking tool, and is fun.

I use facebook all the time to talk to friends that I haven't seen because of college.

Get the **** off this website. It's a social network.

But yeah, I have moved several times throughout my life and keep in touch with alot of people that way.

As for blogs, I can see the interest, it's no different than reading a biography but at a day by day or week by week basis and what not. If you get enough followers on a blog you can actually make decent bank to, google will pay you to allow them to set up adds and what not. but you have to be getting at least a couple hundred hits a day or something.

This is true and also publishers of all sorts do read blogs and if you are an aspiring writer it's a good way to be found.

There's also the recent movie Julie & Julia was based off of the life of Julia Childs and the memoirs of a blogger. That alone is some serious incentive, I mean a ****ing movie deal? C'mon...

Oh, you know what I mean. :CStern:

I seem to be the only person in the world who's an actual hermit.

I'm a bigger Hermit then you ever will become.
:CStern:

And I also made a few Youtube blogs. No one watches them much, and when someone does, they usualy try to kill themselves. It's because they are weaklings.
