The Doctor had been wandering for a long time now, almost a year, ever since just after Ilum when the Jedi cast her out. She had done a lot of things, met a lot of new friends, helped out the Warlords, slaughtered a slave market, found an apprentice, spent a lot of time on Serenno learning how to be an exile, she got run through...twice. Now though, all of that felt inconsequential, like the last year didn't even matter, because now...now she didn't feel so lost now. She had caught a transmission a while back, just white noise, but working with a slicer for a job on Nar Shadda revealed to her that it was more than that. Behind the white noise lay a message, and it was from someone her heart had yearned to see for 16 years.

It was her Brother...

Her Blood Brother, not in the Exile sense. Raz, her big brother by about 90 years, had reached out his baby sister wanting to see her again. Of course, that signal came with a lot of implications, the most prevalent being that he was no longer with the Jedi considering it came a few months after she was forced out. She couldn't find anything on his activities since 2 years ago, and that sudden void in the data made her uneasy, she hated not knowing things, especially where family was concerned. It wasn't just unease though, it was paranoia, what if the Jedi had sent this signal? What if it was a rival who wanted her dead? What if he was dead?? Her mind raced with ideas and theories, driving her crazy with thoughts that all ended in her death or his...but at the end of the day, she had to see him if there was a chance.

She had arrived at the place she was beckoned to, a Penthouse Apartment on Coruscant's overcity. She didn't like it up here, far too sterile, all the senators walking around chatting about politics and their stations, the soulless architecture, the lack of nature, it was all so stuffy and she hated it. The doorman easily let her past with a simple mind trick, and as she made her way toward the door, she could sense her unease growing. The corridor seemed to stretch out into forever, her chest tightening at the thought of seeing him again. The last time she had heard anything, he had joined the Exiles too, but that was just hearsay, he might still be a jedi or, at least, on their side and try to arrest or even kill her. Her skin was draining to white as she took each step, that pit in her stomach trying to weigh her down as paranoia and overwhelming desire screamed into her mind to knock, to run away, to break it down, anything and everything she could think of.

In the end though, she knew this was only going one way. She held up her hand, balled it into a fist, and began to knock. On the third knock, her hand stayed on the door, slowly uncurling and coming to rest on it, all while Aleera's defenses stared to crumble, her mouth only able to form one simple word, coming from the mouth of a small child.

"Raz...?"

Raz, under the guise of the penthouse's rightful owner stood in the entryway of the penthouse. The man who owned the place now laying dead in one of the abodes many closets. His heart was racing, nearly visibly beating out of his chest. Almost two decades had past since he had last seen his sister, though that amount of time is insurmountable in the eternity that the immortals would live, it still was enough to cause anguish in Raz's heart and mind. The message he'd sent could have been intercepted by some enemy force, which provided Raz the reason to take the guise of apartment's owner, believing he'd be able to act, and talk his way out of any trouble that would occur with its protection.

Setting aside his fear, he was sure she would be here, she was after all his little sister, more than capable of defending herself, still though the anxiety of seeing her again rippled through his mind.

Raz remained motionless in the entryway, he could feel a presence outside the door, his heart pounded as the two forces stood silently. Then finally, it knocked. Whatever was on the other side knocked a few times, before resting it's hand on the door. Then...

"Raz...?" The words like waves..

"Aleera!" Raz said overjoyed, as he threw the door open, and pulled his sister toward him in a powerful embrace, "I am ecstatic you've survived!" His words were true. Only two beings existed off of their home planet that Raz cared for, and one was standing before him.

Raz looked her up and down, her form, new to him, fit her well.

The door practically threw itself off it's hinges, opening up to reveal her brother standing before her. In that one moment, everything around her seemed to freeze, time itself slowing to a crawl. He looked different since last time...ok, well, he's a Shi'ido, of course he looked different, but that wasn't how she was looking at him. Shi'ido have this biological marker, almost like a sort of Telepathic connection to one another that lets them see one another even when they're changed. She could feel his mark, and it had changed since she last saw him. His aura in the Force had grown much darker, he was as deeply immersed in the Dark Side as she was now, or perhaps it was the other way around. It was true after all, he was an Exile now, and Aleera's heart almost soared at the revelation, so damn relieved that this wouldn't end in a fight. She was going to say something, anything, just to break the long tension between them, but even as she tried to form the words, she could feel the lump in her throat closing, the tears starting to break through the persona.

Her defenses came crashing down as she was embraced, erupting into a shower of tears in her brother's chest. She wasn't The Doctor anymore, not right now, for now, she was just Aleera Dusfraine, a scared young girl that was betrayed and thrown into the world, who was barely able to survive. "Raz! Raz Raz Raz...I was so scared, they threw me out and turned their backs, the Jedi! They betrayed me...I've been so alone, please don't leave...don't leave me please," she choked out, having practically thrown herself into her brother's arms. By the time he let her go, her eyes were red raw, the floodgates overflowing and having ruined his shirt. "Um, you shirt, I...sorry"

Raz could feel his sister scanning him telepathically, in turn he did the same, not really looking for anything, just glad to have her here with him. It's been so long.. he thought. As he embraced his sister, he could feel her frame trembling, it seemed she had missed him as much as he had missed her.

She began to cry, tears of sadness and frustration streamed down her face, a sight no brother enjoyed seeing on his sister. She screamed about the Jedi, their traitorous actions, and tyrannical unfairness, "The Jedi are a blight on the Galaxy.. Nothing will ever separate us again my sister." As he said the words a tear streamed down his own face, the immense emotions washing over him like a heavy wave, finally unable to withstand it, the tears began to flow. Never before, in the memorable recent past, had Raz cried. The reunion of blood proved to be very necessary.

For a moment the two embraced, Aleera, pulling her head back, and apologizing for the wet spot on his shirt, "You need never apologize for anything.. It is I who should be sorry, sorry I took so long to reach out, sorry I did not seek you sooner. And worst of all, sorry I allowed the Jedi to do this to you.. to us.." recently Raz had met someone who had begun to change his way of thinking, but seeing his sister here, like this, a whole new but familiar hate washed over him.

Raz kicked the door closed, not wanting any unwanted guests, or worse family members of the dead owner showing up.

She knew he was going to do this, ever single time something bad happened, he always did it. He always blamed himself for things that weren't his fault, he always tried to pass blame on to himself rather than others and, while it was admirable that he preferred to keep other people from feeling bad, Aleera couldn't allow it, not today. The Doctor steeled her face, every mental defense raising up once more, her eyes narrowing at her brother as The Dark Side flared up in her, it's waters washing over her hand as she slapped him on the shoulder, lending it extra strength. "Stop!" She hissed, fighting through the tears, "I swear, if you blame yourself for this, I will scoop out your insides and turn them into a delightful pastry, this was not your fault."

Her immediate thoughts were pulled from her brother as he kicked the door shut, her eyes peering over his shoulder (requiring her to go on her tip toes) and looking into his humble abode. It was pretty spacious, even for a Penthouse, so either he was rich now, or he had killed the owner and taken his form (he was always a little hot blooded). Her tears were starting to subside a little now, and though the temptation to start again was strong, seeing the tears in his own eyes immediately pushed down the notion. She needed to be strong now, for both of them, she got the odd feeling that this was hitting him harder than it was to her. "Hey..." She brought her hands up to his head and wiped the tears from his eyes, resting them on his cheeks, "This is not your fault, I get why you didn't contact me, you had stuff that was probably a lot more pressing than seeing me...and besides, a year ago I was technically the enemy, so I imagine you didn't want that dilemma in your hands, but I have to say, you don't seem all that surprised about certain...changes" As her little rant trailed off, her eyes flashed a sickly yellow, just in case he needed a stronger indicator of what she was talking about.

Finally the two had come together, errupting the emotional volcano which had been building in both of them. After Raz's distraught apology, she had slapped his shoulder, and threatened to bake him into a delectible edible, Raz's eyes cleared, "You can't cook.." was Raz's only response to her empty threat.

"I could never have been able to raise a blade to you.." Raz said trailing off. As his sister's eyes flashed the familiar yellow, indicative of the dark sides corruption, Raz said, "You are my little sister.. The blood that runs through your veins runs also through mine, No matter the shape those veins take.." he said as he skinshifted from the appearance of the penthouse's owner to the typical form he employed for his day to day activities, "And no matter what changes..." he said with emphasis on the word, followed by a short pause, "You are my sister, my kin... I would accept, and die for you no matter what.." he said powerfully, "I will note you've grown powerful.. More powerful than I would have imagined." Raz finished sensing the electrical energy of the black tendrils of the Dark side emanating from her, colliding with his own.

He noticed her looking around the penthouse, "Do you like it?" Raz said with a wave of his arm, the arc ending near a wall of holopics depicting the true owner, Raz's previous shape, and what was probably his family, as the pair paused on the photos, Raz saw the question in her eye, and answered it, "He had a nice family.. Good thing she's not yet home, his body in the bedroom closet would probably put her off a bit.." Raz said with a stiffled exhale.

The Doctor actually froze in shock for a brief moment, her ears unable to register what she just heard. Clearly there was something wrong with her Big Brother's mind if he though she couldn't cook, because she very vividly remembered making most of his meals for him when he was visiting her on Ossus. She could even remember what she made, right down to the last ingredient, and she could very much remember the look on his face when he let that first bite send waves of ecstasy down his gullet. Sure, he was probably in shock from the sudden death threat...but you never insult The Doctor's cooking.
"I can't c...I...I can't...I can't cook??" She repeated, her face almost glowing red now, "Listen here you...you! I am a phenomenal cook! I still remember a certain Skin shifter whom always came to his sister for nourishment when the canteen couldn't get off it's ass again." As she said that, she had started to continually poke him to punctuate each word, finishing with a simple jab, again, to his shoulder.

Now that he knew who the real chef was, she maneuvered under his arm and started to have a look around. All things considered, it wasn't too shabby an apartment, a tad modernistic though, all spires and metal, no soul. It was big too, bigger than she would've liked, she was more the cozy kind of person, dark rooms and leather seats, that kind of aesthetic. "What can I say, I suit the Dark Side, it's more freeing than the Light" She absent mindedly shot back, her eyes falling to the photos. While she knew now that her brother was just impersonating the owner, it was also safe to say that this was a recent thing given that he was standing in the photo with a wife and two kids. "Really? Hanging in the basement? Isn't it cleaner to just knock him out, do your thing then leave?"

Raz watched with amusement as his sister stood dumbfounded in front of him, if there was one thing he could be considered an absolute master at, with skill above any and all else in the galaxy, it was pushing the buttons of his baby sister. A muffled laugh hummed out of his throat as she stuttered to get her infuriated words out. Raz began to slowly step backwards at each violent poke to his chest as his sister exclaimed her dislike for his previous statement. Last he knew, she was in fact a fantastic chef, above and beyond much else he could find in this galaxy.

As she dodged under his arm and began evaluating the aesthetics of the apartment, Raz looked at her glad to have her back in his life once more. "The freedom of the dark side is immeasurable, and intoxicating. The unwavering power to be gained leaves me to wonder why all do not use surrender themselves to it. Damned Jedi.." Raz said as he began walking to the elaborate kitchen area of the open floor plan apartment. Dozens of art pieces littered the walls and surfaces of the joint, "The trinkets some people collect.." Raz said as he knocked a surely expensive vase off its bier to the ground, where it shattered violently into hundreds of shards. Arriving at the island in the kitchen, Raz knelt down and selected three bottles and two glasses. Setting them on the island, Raz poured himself a brandy, while offering to his sister any of the three.

She seemed surprised at his 'Place taking' methods, "Perhaps I just needed to eliminate any potential witnesses, or maybe just a primal urge to kill. In any event, I find an assumed identity works best when the identity you're assuming doesn't have the ability to pop up and ruin your cover.." Raz said matter of factly, then took a sip of his brandy.

The Doctor started to smirk seeing her big brother laid low and retreating when threatened with simple poking. No matter how fearless or bloodhungry or sadistic he could be, he was smart and fearful enough to know he was woefully outmatched by his sister in every respect...well, except maybe being a dumbass. A stray thought entered her mind that, perhaps, she should sit him down and remind him of just how damn good her cooking can be. "Well I guess if you don't like my cooking, I'll just have to take my award winning recipes elsewhere!!" She declared dramatically, flicking her hair and turning away with a huff.

The Doctor couldn't help but chuckle a little as her big brother started to wax philosophy about the Dark Side and it's power compared to that of the light, and the trademark trash talk about the Jedi. Pretentious soliloquy aside, it was uncanny just how similar the two had grown in the intervening years between then and now. Then, he was quite wise and loyal to the cause, if a little traditionalist because of his upbringing on the homeworld. Even then though, he still enjoyed a good scrap and was more hot headed than his fellow jedi. By contrast, Aleera wouldn't hurt a fly if she didn't have to, she was a healer after all, life was a sacred thing. She was also the more bookish of the two, considering how much time she spent tinkering and reading when not actively on duty or pulling overtime.

Now, the duo were a lot more similar, though certain traits seemed to have doubled down or polarized themselves. He was still as itching for a fight as ever, but now it seemed to have evolved into the simple desire to kill every so often, not that she was complaining, that was just a charming tic that could be a fun family activity. In addition, he was now the one that felt like going on the long winded monologues about stuff, though she still liked to indulge on occasion. She had to admit though, she was more than a little shocked when he dismissed the art in the dwelling, he used to be all over this kind of stuff. She actually looked shocked as he dismissed them as trinkets and proceeded to let it all smash to the ground. "...you've changed more than I thought" She said softly, now looking a little concerned.

His infiltration methods needed work, that much was clear, as evidenced by his poor defense of the needless killing, "And this is why I take original faces brother, homegrown, family friendly, sexy as hell, something you could deal to learn a little about," She said, examining the body up and down.Blood under the fingernails, which were chipped, bruising in left temple, nasty gash on the chin...must've been a hell of a fight. Suddenly, the two heard a slight *click*, followed by the sound of the door opening. The Doctor groaned softly as the wife started calling for her husband, "Brother, this day is full of pent up emotions so do you mind if I handle her? I've got a little frustration I need to get out"

Allowing his baby sister to believe she had the upper hand on him had placed an enjoyable smile on her face, and Raz's sideways smile was an indicator he had enjoyed putting it there. "The only award your cooking would win is most likely to make me puke..." Raz said, raising his right index finger and pointing it inside his mouth, while simultaneously sticking out his tongue and imitating a gaging noise.

Raz's baby sister had always been in his charge, in a matter of speaking, however he could feel the power of the dark side pulsate off of her, whatever similarities they had shared, appeared to have been amplified ten fold in the decade and a half they had been separated.

She'd noted about how he had changed, probably because he had just done something the 'old' him would never have done. "I have grown sister.." he said as if he were making an observation to her about an entirely different point, "While artwork and beauty are still eye catching to me, I'm afraid I have found in these last years that they have failed to serve me the purpose I had always placed in them.." he said sounding dissapointed.

"I do employ original faces from time to time, when the need arises.. However, taking a face that has already made it's own accomplishments.." he said with a wave of his hand at the apartment they stood in, "Sorta makes those accomplishments yours as well.. Not to mention the available assets to be gained from such an endeavor.." he finished with a nod toward the glass he was holding and a second nod toward the speeder that was parked on the balcony of this penthouse apartment.

Aparently the wife had made her way home, he was sure she would be out for the greater part of the evening. "Stupid girl.." Raz whispered under his breath at the woman.

"By all means, make yourself at home.. I did.." Raz said with a smirk.

When the woman rounded the corner she looked to the Aleera, then to Raz, who was wearing her husband's face. Immediately the woman's face turned to anger, apparently she'd had some problem with her husband and other women. "Hello darling.." Raz said his voice echoing perfectly the now dead man who laid in the closet.

"Titus... You low life pile of Nerf dung! I knew it! I knew it!" The wife screamed. Until that moment, Raz didn't even know the what the man's name was.

"Well darling, what can I say.." Raz laughed as he turned away from her and took a long sip from his glass.

Once again, he had a retort, he always had a retort, but then again, so did she. "Oh and I'm sure the puke would be better than my cooking eh? Alright then, I'll just tie you down, shovel it all up and throw it down your gullet if that's how you really feel!" She declared, throwing her arms up into the air before pivoting her head back and putting on a face of mock sincerity. "Only the best for my brother." She could feel his eyes on her as she looked around the place, the wheels turning in his head, he was her brother after all, he was probably very curious about the kind of person his sister had become.

The wife coming home would probably be a good showing of one of her biggest changes. She recalled the days when she wouldn't hurt a fly, but now all she could think about as this woman started yapping her lips off, was how best to shut her up. Turned on her heel, her hand shot forward and the woman's mouth clamped shut, her muffled attempts to speak bringing a smile to her face. "Ah...much better" She said softly, cracking her neck before strolling slowly toward her, acting all sultry as she did. "You're a fine specimen my dear...delicious." She brought her hands up and let them softly run up her sides, the tight curves of the dress she wore exposing them nicely. Her hands moved all the way to the back of her neck before she stopped, her ther hand rested on her shoulder.

Her head moved in as if to kiss the poor woman, now starting to cry as she tried to comprehend what was happening. Instead, her lips merely grazed hers, and parted to show her teeth, now sharpened into points, as they slowly, and very painfully, began to bite down into her neck. She screamed and screamed as The Doctor slowly bit a chunk out of the poor woman, her sobs and sounds quiet through the invisible gag, but when she finally dropped to the ground, a chunk of her neck missing and spewing blood all over the carpet, her body still twitching as the life drained from it, all she could do was gargle and choke on her own blood.

"...I think I know what we're having for dinner"

Raz watched, with a smile, as Aleera held the woman hostage, he was expecting some flashy display of power, maybe just a saber through the woman, or using the force to tear the woman's mind apart, cause that was kinda her thing. But when Aleera leaned in, Raz was a little lost, suddenly she bit the woman and Raz's eyes widened. What the... he thought but she continued to bite, as if her jaw had locked on the woman's neck like a shark. "What are you d..." Raz began to say, but then Aleera threw the woman down, her artery severed and a line of blood sprang forth from her neck, splashing all over the nearby wall, then it flowed like a hose onto the floor, the woman's color along with the blood leaving her body.

"Awe... The carpet.." Raz said, choosing to ignore the weirdness of his sister. Stepping over to the floored woman and his sister, she suggested they eat the woman. "I was thinking something a little more... Uh... cooked?" Raz said, a little surprised at what had just happened.

"So... You eat people now?" He said finally after a few awkward moments of silence. What the Fhtagn just happened?... Raz thought.

She couldn't deny, seeing the utterly confused and, somewhat, unnerved face that her brother was giving her set The Doctor a little on edge. She knew in that moment that she had made a miscalculation, a horrible mistake. It had been 2 decades since the two had seen one another, and whilst she knew that he would be taken aback by some of the more sinister qualities she had attained over the past year, taking a chunk out of the woman's neck, it...it just came out of nowhere. She stumbled back, her eyes falling on the body and staying there, gazing, appalled, at the open wound she sported now. For a moment, it was if the Dark Side drained from her completely, and it was just the same old little sister that stood there, horrified at what she had done. But just as quickly as it had come, it was gone, replaced by the same look, but now replaced with a sense of confusion and annoyance than horror.

"I'm...I'm sorry," She murmured quietly, tearing her eyes from the body and looking at her brother. "I don't know what happened there, I just...something came over me and I just pounced on her...and yeah, I was going to cook her...gets rid of the body, gives us a nice meal etc." She wasn't sure why she decided to try and justify that after saying she didn't know what came over her, but the idea itself still seemed sound. Eating the corpse removed the corpse, no corpse, no investigation, no sign that the Exiles had been here. She started to drag herself away from her brother and over to the previously offered shot glasses and alcohol, pouring a shot and quickly downing it. She repeated that at least 4 times before she paused, starting to sway back and forth.

It came before she could even hope to defend against it, all she could do was dash toward the trash can and hope it passed quickly, but unfortunately it wasn't the case. She sat there, kneeling over a trash can for at least 2 minutes, vomiting almost non-stop, to the point that she was afraid she would suffocate under the strain. Thankfully, that wasn't the case, but whatever invisible force that seemed determined to destroy any mental defenses she had? They succeeded.

If Raz were to look at her now, she wasn't The Doctor, she wasn't even Aleera, she was something much older than that. There was a girl born so long ago, on Lao Mon, he was there to see her first breaths and hear her cries. He was there every so often as she grew up, he was there to comfort her when she was sad, and he was there pull her up when she was defeated. She needed her brother, now, more than ever, as her identities briefly came crashing down all around her. All she could do was sniffle and sob out her words.

"Raz...I'm scared...I don't know who I'm becoming..."

Raz stood there, though technically a Shi'ido eating a human wasn't exactly canabalism, Raz still felt that something about eating a bipedal sentient species had some sort of immorality to it. Not that he had a problem with immorality, after the things he's done in his life. He didn't judge his sister for this action, but the look on the face he wore clearly stated he would not be taking place in her meal. Trying to deflect the situtation by making another slight at her cooking, Raz failed to come up with a suitable joke, and instead remained silent.

After her stammered apology, and strange attempt to explain her actions, Raz said, "The blood that runs through our veins is the same... You'll never need to apologize to me.." Raz said seriously, before lightening the tone a bit by adding, "But I actually had a big lunch, so I think I'm good.." with a smile.

His sister had then gone to plunder the alcohol stores of the dead family now, an action which Raz did not allow her to undertake alone. Raz matched her first shot, then as she continued to pour shot after shot said, "You're not supppsed t..." was all he could finish before she dashed quickly to the laundry bin, mistaking it for a trash can, the now expensive monogrammed and gold leaffed towels covered in a bloody mixture of alcohol and other undigested substances.

With a laugh, Raz stepped behind her, holding her hair back and said, "These people are.... Well were.... rich, this is no ten credit booze..." Raz finished once again with another laugh.

When she turned to him, Raz saw it. A glimmer, or a glaze over her eyes, she was shaking a bit and Raz's mind was sucked back to a time when she was little more than a crawling infant. The innocence and sweetness of his baby sister filled his mind, he recalled having taken a trip back only because his mother had said she may start walking soon. A reflecting smile crossed Raz's face as these memories, of a simpler and happier time, were pushed to the front of his head. The memories flooded of his previous live before the Jedi and the Exiles and really anything that has now become a normal part of life.

As she sobbed her words of mental anguish, Raz embraced her tightly. Whatever she was going through was taking a toll on her, and a heavy toll at that. Raz wasn't very proficient in this area of the force, but he called upon it to calm his sister while she remained in his arms, protected from anything the outside world may have, here in this moment she was under the defensive umbrella of her big brother. Calmly And softly Raz said, "You are not becoming anything.. You are, and always will be... Aleera, slayer of men, and sister to the coolest guy in the Galaxy..." Raz had added the last part for a bit of comedic relief.

Raz chuckled at his own joke a bit, before releasing his sister from his death grip hug. "We may need more drink than they have in this residence. I know of some amazingly average cantinas down a few levels?" Raz posing the question to hit the town.

Raz moved about the apartment, and lifted up the couch, and placing it softly back on the floor in an upside fashion, he said creating a crime scene. "Maybe they'll think he bit her neck, and then hid in the closet and shot himself? What do you think?" Raz said with an innocent laugh, hoping to lighten the mood.

Aleera didn't bother resisting as she felt her brother's warm arms wrap around her and pull her up, she simply turned and buried herself in his chest, wrapping her own arms around his waist. She wondered if now was the best time to tell him, or whether or not the two were better off spending time together first before she started bothering him with his problems like she used to...no, perhaps not. It felt like an eternity just spent in his arms, and for a few moments, she truly felt like just a baby again, with her big brother. All the problem with the Jedi, the Exiles just seemed so far away now, like a bad dream. She hoped when she pulled away, he would be comforting her for said bad dream, but she knew full well, much as she hoped, that wouldn't be the case. She gently pulled away from Raz and looked straight up into his eyes, glinting with that murderous rage that she could see in his. The two were possibly more alike now than ever, and perhaps that was a good thing.

Aleera glanced over his shoulder at the booze, now half empty, prompting a guilty grin to form over her face. "Sowwy bwotha" She said cutely, winking at him mischievously before skipping over to the next bottle. "I know somewhere we can drink this though" She said quickly, before grabbing his arm, "We both know we're too good for cantinas." She turned on her heel and practically sprinted out of the apartment, leading Raz through the winding hallways and twists and turns until the came out on the Roof, where several speeders were parked. "Which one is his? I know he has one here."

Raz followed his sister up to the roof top, you had to be rich in this planet to live so close to a roof top that provided a view such as this one. "I think it's the red one.. pompous windbag..." Raz said, pointing to the fancy looking Fx 980 GT. Popping open one of the doors, Raz slid into the passenger seat, he figured his sister would want to drive, and as always Raz would let her have whatever she wanted.

In a Galaxy full of strangers, there was nothing that Raz valued more than his family, the first people he ever loved, and the few he continued to love to this day, Raz would fight, kill, and die if necessary for his family. A strange sentiment for any exile, but one he still held.

Aleera broke out into an excited grin as Raz highlighted the red hot rod sporty looking one. That was not a speeder, that was a work of art, the red paint, the mirror sheen, the shape and sleekness of the design, cutting edge craftsmanship was employed in this vehicle, it had to be custom made. She jumped into the driver's seat and began to examine the controls, noting the ridiculously high speed that the thing had - this was going to be fun. She eyed Raz as he clambered in, smirking softly at her brother, a good driver himself, but not quite as dexterous or, shall we say, elegant? "Should I call a forklift to help you inside bro?" She teased, chuckling softy before pecking him on the cheek. "Buckle up."

Aleera pulled back on the throttle and the speeder began to rise, picking the most open route before catapulting across the dusk filled sky, it's blues and whites starting to fade to oranges and blacks under the sun's fading light. The air whipped all around the duo, the traffic flashing by them in brief pops of thruster noises and profane insults about their driving skills. She never liked those people, but she was a damn good driver too, so she never really cared about hearing it either. Raz was a little different though, he'd take the insult well, and still be smiling as he ran you through on a pike and killed your family in their beds, he was a cheery psychopath like that. She stole a glance at him as she drove, noting just how peaceful he looked, it was a rare thing. Whenever they had been together before, they had always been on a mission or doing something urgent and important. It was rare that they got the chance to just sit down and enjoy each other's company, see the world together.

Her mind began to wander to thoughts she'd rather not have, all the familiar thoughts that plagued her mind when she was with family. What if the first time they saw each other in years was also the last? What if she were to die all of a sudden at the hands of a Jedi? What if a thug got lucky and left Raz without his sister and...and Abigail without another mother? Well, the answer to all that was obvious wasn't it? She never knew how much time she had left, so she had to make the time she had worth every second. She turned her head fully to Raz, keeping a spectral pair of eyes on the road. "It is so good to see you again...what's happened with you since I've been away?"

Raz enjoyed the ride, the high speed, the blurry and angry civilians, the tranquility of it all really hit Raz all at once. It was a beautiful moment and Raz let it live as long it would. After the wity insult coming from his sister, "I don't think anything could keep me out of this speeder." He said before laughing.

Raz had begun to drop some things out of the window, just some random belongings that the man had kept in his speeder, a datapad, some clothing, and various pieces of trash he wouldn't need them anymore anyway, and Raz found some delight in throwing things out at such a high speed.

What's happened with me eh?.. Raz thought, "Well.. I've taken several bouts of piracy, some slavery, a bit of chaos and mass murder. Overall just the typical random acts of violence that I have found myself commiting. Oh, I've taken an apprentice? Does that count? Good kid, a little misguided, but a good kid." Raz said with a laugh. In truth he'd come to care for the boy, and truly hoped nothing bad would happen to him while Raz was away, "I met a woman, lost her. Met another one, and probably lost her as well." Raz said with a smirk, women were something Raz would par take in from time to time, but none of them ever really stuck, either due to Raz's disinterest or the innate wildness of the Galaxy itself.

The topic of family had begun to creep into Raz's mind, he had seen their parents in years, and they had other siblings what he wondered about as well.

Returning to the question she had asked, "It is always good to see you, sister, I'm ashamed it took so long.." Raz said, disappointed in himself for letting the years slip by as they had, the warring state of the Galaxy meant that he was lucky to have even gotten this chance to see her, what if she, or he had died prior to this meeting? Then they would have gone years without having seen each other, and worse they probably would never even have known what would have happened to the other, given that when one died, they were usually left out to rot, or became a meal for whatever local wildlife there was on whatever planet they died on.

She couldn't suppress a small giggle as her brother started to haphazardly grab things from the glove compartment and casually toss them aside into the concrete jungle below them, though she could have sworn she heard someone screaming from an object smacking their windshield. She did stop him from tossing a perfectly good waistcoat though, her love of clothes would never change and she would never not be fabulous, no matter where the finery came from. "Never waste a perfectly good waistcoat brother, how many times have a told you?" She hissed teasingly, she had never told him that, but she had said many other things along the lines of 'you know what to do with clothes you don't like'.

Raz started to spout off a highlight reel of his time abroad in the big bad galaxy, and to be fair to him, it was pretty much as per the norm for this family. Plundering and pillaging and slavery and death, all perfectly fine family activities...kinda reminded her of Abigail actually. Almost as if on cue, Raz began to pipe up about the new apprentice that he had recently acquired, and then the penny dropped...the question had been stirring in her head for a few hours now. Should she tell Raz about her daughter, the obvious answer would be yes, but at the same time, it felt like doing so would be putting her in danger. Not in any danger from her family of course, but in danger from their enemies, Abi was a closely guarded secret as she was right now, and if she told Raz, someone might rip the info out of his head and have a bargaining chip, ans no, The Doctor didn't count, she could defend herself...then again, so could Abi, to an extent.

After a few moments of silence, she looked hard at Raz, staring deep into his eyes, studying her brother for every inch of himself. No...no, he would rather die than give up his family, and they both knew it, knew it then and know it now...fine.
"Me? I've been a little active since my exile, met a bunch of new people, fought a wookie, got run through by said wookie and had my saber taken...um, I've been making a few friends on Serenno recently, oh! I slaughtered a slave market so I could get a slave for myself, Zaana, nice girl. She died unfortunately, twas a shame, and I...I uh..." She bit her lip, knuckles tightening on the wheel, "...I found out that I have a daughter...I'm a mom now."
