After Elias' meeting with Tommy and how that derailed so quickly, he realized if he needed anything for his own personal crusade, it was some credits. His pockets were completely dry and he regretfully had to resort to criminal means when he absolutely had to. He was sick of using his powers like that and that meant he resorted to his history. With his father having been a mercenary, he taught him some of the ropes of the work and how to at least find some jobs in case he needed a quick wad of credits. It had been a long time ago and took some searching but Elias had finally found one of his father's old contacts who hooked him up.

The contact had given him a puck on a high-up Cartel target, one that he was supposed to bring back alive. It checked all the boxes for Elias, Cartel, and bringing the target back alive. Hopefully, the Jedi could actually find out some useful information about the palace on Nal Hutta. He already had the techie suit but that was just one piece of the puzzle to get in.

The target was on Nar Kaaga, a rather cold and swampy planet that didn't seem too friendly to the eye but bustled with trade. Elias had ditched his X-wing and hitched a ride on one of the transports to get on the planet. He found himself in a local harbor town and the meeting the point of where he was supposed to meet his partner for this bounty. Bounty Hunters were a precarious breed and he would have to be on his heels while he worked with whoever he was supposed to meet. He was donned in leather armor with bracers and shinguards to afford more mobility than protection; a blaster on his hip and a vibro-sword. His lightsaber was still strapped to him but hidden until he absolutely needed it.

Elias had a cloak to conceal most of his weaponry and he entered the only tavern in town as he drew his hood tighter. There was a booth in the corner and he slid into it as he waited for his partner. The Jedi tossed his puck on the table but within reach as the sign for his associate to recognize him.

Gett'se hated traveling in Hutt space. He had come to Nar Kaaga on the request of his guild contact. A high stakes Hutt Cartel target. He had arrived on Nar Kaaga in his Y-wing, parking it a little bit outside of the town that he was to meet his partner for this mission. He didn't often hunt with a partner, and found it interesting that the Guild requested him.

Entering the local tavern, Gett'se stopped at the door as his eyes scanned the crowd. The room hushed as all eyes went his way for a moment, taking in the heavily armed and armored Mandalorian. He wore beskar'gam, with a heavy blaster pistol on his right hip, a rifle slung over his back, and the hilt of his beskad sticking up over his left shoulder. They stopped staring as his eyes crossed over them, until he found what he was looking for. A man sitting alone with a puck on the table.

He approached, stepping lightly as he crossed the room to stand over the man's booth, looking down at him, then at the puck on the table, and then back to the man again.

"You are my contact?" He asked through the emotionless glare of his visor. His eyes scanned the man, noting the blaster and vibrosword. Sitting down across from him once he was sure he was the man, he gestured to the puck with his left hand. "Whats the job." He asked. His right hand remained below the table.

The wait wasn't long. The patrons of the tavern didn't stand out too much. A couple was civilians, pilots, and every walk of life that a person could imagine. But when Gett'se stepped in, Elias immediately could tell that he was his associate for the meeting. The man was a Mandalorian and fully donned in the armor of his kind and that made him stand out. Elias didn't move from his seat as he instead just waited for the mando to take notice of him and make his way over.

"In the flesh." The Jedi gave a nod and gestured at the seat for him to sit down. The puck was on the table and would only confirm his words. "Cartel member, a fixer who helps set up jobs. Apparently, he doesn't mind setting up his fellow Cartel friends in order to get a leg up on the competition. We're supposed to bring him alive so they can find out what he knows." Hopefully, there would be a window where he could ask his own questions that he had for him regarding the palace.

Elias didn't fail to see that the mando's hand was still under the table and his only reaction was to smirk before he continued on. "Reportedly, he's a few miles out from here, his own little hideout." That was pretty much it regarding their target and they would have to discover the rest on their own. Elias then put his hand up, "You can ease up. I don't have any secret plan." Maybe it was something he should have worked on, to have backup plans for everything but that was for next time.

The Jedi stood up from his chair and took a step out but waited by the table for the Mando to join, "You ready?"

Gett'se listened to his fellow bounty hunter explain the job. A Cartel had put a nab job out on another rival Cartel member. Cartel jobs were always messy. They had a tendency to run especially double crossey.

"Consider it a professional courtesy." He said plainly as the hunger eyed his hand that remained below the table. He instead reaching for the puck in the middle of the table with his left hand. Activating the puck, he would memorize the name and face of the acquisition, as well as the price displayed. He felt no guilt about being paranoid considering this was a Cartel job. He hadn't even realized the Guild was accepting underworld acquisitions, though he supposed things got a little fuzzier the closer one got to Hutt space.

"Whats the cut, fifty-fifty?" He asked. You never knew with some of these hunters. Gett'se also wasn't shy himself about subcontracting out work for a smaller portion than equal. Business was business but he wanted to be sure of the stakes.

"You got a name?" He would ask as he stood up, nodding to the man to affirm that he was ready to go. He had been ready to go the moment he stepped off his ship.

Well, he could accept it as a professional courtesy. Elias had lived on Nal Hutta and knew what the way of life was like there. Everyone was usually out for themselves. Gett'se reached for the puck in between them to study their target and the description would match the Jedi's words. There wasn't much information about the target as fixers usually loved to keep their sources and themselves out of the spotlight.

When asked if the cut was fifty-fifty, Elias gave him a brief nod to say yes. While he did need credits, information was more valuable to him at the moment. With Gett'se asking about the payment, in the beginning, he was willing to go out on a limb and expect the Mandalorian to respect the terms and not take everything for himself. It was one of the first he had actually met a Mandalorian and what he mostly knew came from stories about them. One thing that always reoccured in the stories was the aspect of honor.

"Yeah, Romero." It was the call-sign for his dad when he flew and it was a quick name that he could just for times like these. "Got one as well?" After they made their introductions, Elias would make his way out of the tavern with the mando and would proceed over to the edge of the town. They could have taken speeders but he decided against that, "If he's got a hideout not that far from here, he probably has some feelers in town." A fully armored Mandalorian and Elias dressed as he was then would certainly draw some attention if they filed out and shot straight for the swamps. They were most likely being watched then.

"You hunt in this area of the galaxy or some other part?" If Gett'se had some experience in this region they could use that, if not they'll just have to do it the traditional way.

"Romero." Gett'se nodded as he said the man's name. "Gett'se, Vizsla." He answered when asked his own name. He knew a fake name when he heard one, but it was something to call him by. He didn't bother hiding behind aliases himself. They approached the edge of town, Gett'se's eyes taking in the streets around them as they walked. "He'll know we're coming." Gett'se replied, fairly certain that any feelers would have already warned the acquisition if he was that well connected.

"We should rent speeders." He assumed that speed would be of the essence if they were to catch this acquisition now that he might be on alert. Some people just hop in their ship and fly away. Might even be a good idea to just take their ships. "Or just fly there, he might decide to make a run for it, you got a ship?" He asked. If anything it might save them from having to deal with whatever trap the acquisition might have waiting for them along the way.
